While my vehicle was at the shop, money was taken from it. I had dash camera footage that appeared to show a worker taking the money. I called the shop while the incident was happening, and shortly afterward, my dash camera was unplugged. I ultimately had to go to the shop in person to address the situation. When I spoke with the owner, Tony, I was extremely disappointed by how my concerns were handled. Rather than taking the situation seriously, he was dismissive and repeatedly denied that his employee had taken the money, even after I explained that I had video footage showing what happened. Tony told me that their protocol is to place any spare change they find inside a cup. I specifically explained that this was not done with my money, but he continued to deny that the employee had taken it. He also told me that, as part of their process when vacuuming a customer's vehicle, employees go through the glove compartment and center console. I find that extremely concerning. I don't understand why vacuuming a vehicle would require employees to go through a customer's personal belongings. At one point, Tony sarcastically asked me, "What do you want me to do, fire him?" He also said that I should have waited and allowed the situation to continue so we could see whether the employee was actually going to steal the money. I found that response completely unacceptable. I should not have to knowingly allow someone to take my belongings just to prove that something was wrong. Tony also stated that the security cameras inside the establishment have not worked in years. Given what happened, I found that extremely concerning. A business entrusted with customers' vehicles should have functioning security measures and should take reports of missing property seriously. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability and the way my concerns were handled when I brought them directly to Tony. I can only speak to my own experience, but the combination of what I witnessed, the lack of functioning security cameras, and the explanation that employees routinely go through customers' glove compartments and center consoles has left me with serious concerns about leaving personal belongings in a vehicle at this establishment. Don't let this happen to you. Consider taking your business elsewhere. read more

They did a fantastic job on my SUV! I had a dent in my passenger side door and scratches. It looks brand new and they cleaned the inside from all the shavings after fixing the door!!! Someone crashed into my vehicle while it was parked so I needed some fairly moderate repairs. First off I have to mention that while this place does absolutely amazing work they are a Geico authorized repair shop. Why does that matter? It matters a whole lot because the agreement with Geico means that Geico customers get priority service over "walk-ins". If you are going to this body shop because of an auto insurance claim then you'll have not only great work done but a fairly quick turn around. My vehicle had its entire corner smashed and that took about 7 business days to repair which was faster than the 10 business days I was estimated. I suspect if you are a non-insurance claim customer you may wait much longer depending on how many insurance claims the body shop is working on. If you're willing to wait you won't be disappointed in the work. The work they did was really amazing (see photo). Customer service was really good the two times I called with questions and the entire experience was stress free. They guarantee their work but my insurance company also guarantees the work as well. read more

I called AAA explained in detail the truck make model license plate . The flatbed arrived the driver questioned how the truck got stuck I explained the elements were against us then he said it a waste of his time and he was not going to even try . He mentioned since it was a commercial vehicle AAA would cover it so when I asked for a price he said $1000!!! So he insulted me left me with out service and was rude . If that's their brand they will never ever get my business in any shape or form . Highly unprofessional I made a vendor complaint with AAA ! I think A &R stands for arrogant and rude they obviously don't care about helping someone in distress !!!!!!!! I ultimately got a tow from Julian's for $130 . read more

After getting into an accident (it was the other guys fault I swear!) I wasn't sure where to go. Living in the area for 3 years so far, I had not needed this service to this point (a few near misses with deer, but nothing major). I asked around and it seemed like everyone I spoke to recommended this place. Having so many people that only had positive things to say about it put my mind at ease that they would do a good job To put things in context I got into an accident on a Thursday night. They took me in first thing Friday morning and within minutes I was out in a rental car (thanks also in part to them having a Geico rep and enterprise rep on site - extremely convenient). The amount of damage incurred led to taking about two weeks to fix, but all I cared about was the job getting done well. That was completely the case. The car came out great. My car was only a year old and one of my biggest concerns was the repainting. I didn't think it would match well to the original but it definitely does. The car looks the way it did when it rolled out of the infiniti dealership and thats enough to make me happy. I would absolutely recommend these guys. Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. One of the guys (I think his name was Richie) really took the time to explain to me how I should care for it with regards to washing, waxing, etc. I'm happy that he did or else I would have certainly made a mistake and ruined things. Had a scratch on the hood of my car. Brought it to A&R for an estimate. Got the price and was told to make an appt. for the following week. Was told it would be there approx 3 days. Dropped the car off on Monday, hadn't heard anything by Friday, so called to check. Was told they were busy that week, didn't have a chance to get to it, and to come pick up the car, and make another appointment for 2 weeks later because "we have guys on vacation next week." Picked the car up and drove it straight to another body shop, who gave a comparable estimate, took the car the same day, and HONESTLY said they'd have it for about a week. read more

Worst tow company ever! Mike the row driver doesn't want to work. Instead he shows up late and makes any excuse not to tow unless it's to his shop close by. Mike is rude and a liar. Hit a deer on the Palisades parkway a few weeks ago. Racked up about $7,000 in damages to my 2011 Accord. These guys did an awesome job. Today I went to A & R Auto Body for help with my front fender that was slightly damaged. I literally spent 20 minutes there. Not only did they fix my car, but refused a payment. The owner, Mark, and his staff were friendly and professional. They fixed my car through GEICO a few years ago and I received excellent service that time as well. I highly recommend them. read more

I went to the shop 2x with my classic 300zx which need some body work done. I wanted an estimate for the body work and to have my rims redone. I was recommended to go there by one of thier employees who I know. So I show up the 1st time and Mark who is the only person who can do estimates is not there. The lady in the office tells me to come back either the next day or the day after and Mark will be available. I show up 2 days later and she tells me Mark isn't there again for the entire day. She hands me a business card and say to call before I come again. So today, 11/9/2020 I call and the lady answers the phone. I ask is Mark available for an estimate. Her response was he is busy and may be available later today or tomorrow. I told her I'll just find another body shop and hung up. As a business owner Mark should be readily available to do estimates or have another person there to fill in for him when he isn't available. I have no clue how this body shop stays in business if there isn't an estimator on site while the shop is open. Don't waste your effort or time going to this shop. If the customer service is so poor just trying to get an estimate for a job I can only imagine how much worse the customer service will be if something is done wrong once the job is complete. If I could give this shop ZERO STARS I would do that. read more

I heard good things about A & R when I asked friends in Cornwall to suggest a place after I had a minor accident. Mark was very clear and helpful when I asked for an estimate (and the staff are all very friendly and good), and the body work they did was excellent. When I picked up my car, they had cleaned the interior and exterior and they didn't charge for this. This is a business that is very focused on customer service and quality, while also working with people on the cost. When someone sideswiped my car recently, I went back and had another excellent experience.
