My car was idling really bad so I came for a diagnostic and they figured out what was wrong with my car. Even after 2 "mechanics" looked at my car, none could figure it out. I've been coming to do oil changes here for a couple years as well, they're really reliable and have affordable prices. & let me just point out that if you think you still have a problem with the part they changed, they have no problem checking it out for you if your still within warranty of course. read more

I have been going to this repair shop for a number of years now, and you would think that with time the more you know the mechanics the more loyalty there is between each other. Unfortunately it's the other way around, here within the last year or less every time I take my vehicles in the more issues I have. I take my vehicles in for certain issues and in the process more issues always come out, not to mention that every time a vehicle is worked on 2 days later it leaks oil like crazy. You call the shop up to discuss the issue, the mechanic will say bring it back in and keep it for 2 or 3 days call you back to pick it up only to find out that your vehicle is leaking even more. My driveway and garage have so many oil leaks everywhere that it looks like a dalmatian dog exploded there. Just when you think that you know somebody you don't. Now I have to pay another mechanic for what this mechanic should of already taken care of. Needless to say that I DO NOT RECOMMEND this shop to any one. read more

Shady area, battery, fuel cap, master cylinder cap,& gas were stolen while my trk was there. They replaced the battery with a junk battery that didn't even work. They used the bed for there trash. The filth from there hands and clothes was all over the inside. Nice people but hell no never again. read more

A couple months back I brought my car here for repairs, I met the Mechanic Juan, he gave me an estimate on my repairs then went else where to get more prices. Ended up coming back to A&T because it was the cheapest place, Juan changed raised his prices every time using any excuse as why it was going to cost more than he said, I accepted because I needed my car repaired soon. He literally worked on my car for over a month & when it was ready he didn't fixed some of the things that we agreed on to fix. He made up more excuses why he wasn't able to & was raising his prices again to do the same labor that he was supposed to do in the first place. I ended up taking my car home how it was & still had to pay the total amount as if he fixed everything. He only deducted like a hundred dollars when the parts he didn't fix were over $400. He ripped me off big time & my car wasn't working when I got it back. For the two times I took it I ended up losing around $2000 & my car was never fixed probably on what he worked on. So I ended up selling my car, the guy seems honest & cool when you talk to him but he lies about the service he offers & rips you off so be careful. read more

Driving down from Northern California to Southern C. for the holidays, all loaded up with gifts & luggage, my transmission decides to go out! It's not easy finding someone who can work on a Subaru transmission out in the middle of nowhere! The first mechanic didn't do transmission work, so he referred me to Alex at A&T. He coordinated a complimentary tow from the other mechanic's shop and fixed the transmission in a timely manner and at a GREAT price. This isn't my first time ever replacing a transmission, so I know a great price when I hear one. I just had the transmission re-inspected as I get ready for a Tahoe ski weekend today, and it's got a clean bill of health! Thanks for the great work and great price at a stressful time! read more

My first time there was pleasant the owner made extra copies of my car keys.Although, I was not informed of any progress during that time frame.I returned a week later for a Smog check.Needless to say, I received the same treatment.Evidently, Customer service is not the top priority for this place of business.I called numerous times for updates to no avail.Keep driving this place don't deserve your hard earned money. read more

Alex and his crew are a good down to earth bunch of mechanics who know how to get things done, from smog checks, transmissions, AC, timing belts, etc. If you're looking for frills, coffee, tv room and pastries, this isn't your place. He's always treated me honestly and truthfully, and his hourly labor price is very reasonable. Alex has been at this for over 30 years. read more
