There are three rooms of "treasures" and some of them were still in plastic bins and the owner told me I could look through any of them! Talk about a fun treasure hunt. So many fun Christmas items as well. If you have something specific in mind just ask the owner and she can direct you to the area. Everything was priced fairly. Will def be back.

He came out and said he didn't open until 1PM. I did see that on the big sign by the street. The sign said 1-7 PM We said we would come back later. We left our event to go back later in the day. We arrived at 5PM. It was closed. We hung around a bit to see if he would open up the shop for us. His car was still there, as it had been in the morning. I wasted 40 minutes, going out of my way, and wasted gas. I think when he saw our out of state plates, he could have opened up at 11, to let us take a look. When we said we would be back later, he could have let us know that he was closing early that day. I think as a business person, if you don't honor the hours posted on your signage, maybe you shouldn't have a business.

That includes things like a stone store mascot, a discount from 1-33% for a poem, random promotions of a cookie with your purchase, and more. That said, it's still a thrift store so you may not find what you're looking for any given day. But I've seen some of their posts on social media about hunting for what they resell, and I'm grateful to not have to dig through nasty bins and stand in line at 5am for estate sales. They do that for us to curate a store like this and we pay slightly higher prices. Still, prices here seem reasonable - and they have a variety of discounts! Check 'em out!

I went in with something I had in mind but left with a bit extra....they had men's and women's clothes and in the center they had two bins that had items that were 5 dollars a piece. I would have loved to have gone through the bins but didn't have enough time. The girl working in the store just let me browse. The selection was great and I felt the value was very fair. They had a lot of unusual pieces as well. I ended up getting an adorable natural fiber sweater from a higher end brand for under twenty dollars. It was a classic sweater and will be a great closet staple. I also grabbed my son a vintage, light weight wrangler shirt complete with pearl covered buttons for a western themed dinner he is going to. I will def be back!

They just had cashiers with an extrmely long line. It took about 15 mins waiting in line to check out. Certian sections are well orgnized and others are not. It looks a bit dingy and messy in parts of the store. They allow dogs so that is nice and their sales benefit the Humane society which is awesome! We brought our pup. I found a few great nicknacks and a great little bench seat with an embroidered top for $7.99. Needs to be refinished. Really good prices on many things. There were not enough people working and they were kind of unproffesional and unhelpful. They seemed extremely stressed. I wanted to see things in a locked in a case on the floor. I politely asked the clerk about it and she said it will be like a half hour and never looked up at us at all or when checking us out or said anything pleasant or nice. Something for them to work on. Some customers also seem clueless about just standing in the way of others from looking at things and chit chatting for 5 - 10 minutes. It is not a coffee shop people.

Curiosities Vintage Mall was very welcoming and had great deals on everything in the store. The staff was quick to answer our questions and help us with looking for similar items. This place is really cool as yes... it is highly vintage oriented merchandise but we noticed more artsy and crafty items that were for sale too that were amazingly cool. So that added a further unique spin to this place. Also there was a plant vendor too that sold lots of different kind of little cactuses in various colored shades which further enhanced this place. I saw things of a vintage nature I liked... which were mainly old action figures... that was a lot of fun to browse through checking out all of those!

My situation was the latter- I was going to yard sales in Newberg when I came across this place. It is very unassuming from the outside and has limited hours- if you're able to visit though, I recommend it. The prices are very fair, the selection is good and the volunteers are very friendly. It's definitely not as clean or comfortable as say Goodwill, but it's fairly organized and easy to find things. The best selections are in clothing, books, homewares and DVDs. Lots of parking in the area including a dedicated lot. Bit of a warning- during summer it can get very hot in here. I think there is AC but the building doesn't appear to be well insulated. Not a major deal for me, but for people more sensitive to temperature this is a heads up!
