I can't believe I've been just passing this gem by every time I visit the shopping center! Such a great place and it supports an important cause. The prices can't be beat! They test their electronics so everything is guaranteed to work. Clothes are color coded so everything is easy to find. Great customer service ample parking. I do not write very many negative reviews and it saddens me to write this one. This store could and should be so much better. It was dark, dirty, poorly organized and the merchandise was not clean. On the bright side the prices were very low. The leadership of the local Humane Society should really be demanding better from their Thrift Store. Hopefully someone will bring this to their attention. Clean it up, make sure the inventory is clean, organize the store better and do you organization proud. read more

As an employee at Yelp, keeping my favorite stores secret is probably not a good idea... but Retails Thrift Store is one that I've guarded closely for a long time. Let's just say, I never leave this store empty-handed due to their huge inventory and great prices. This giant thrift store is housed in a former Albertsons if that gives you an idea of scale. There are multiple departments, and row upon row upon row of treasures waiting to be discovered. Given Retails rotational discounts, visitors never really know what they're going to find here. New products are coming in daily, and different colored tags are discounted daily as well. The store has a robust jewelry section with glass cases filled with rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I've found so many wonderful items for both myself, and to give as gifts. Because the inventory is based on donated goods, there is always a wide variety of items available to purchase. The pet department is Retails best-kept secret. The store is managed by the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, so as you can imagine, there are tons of great buys for the pets in your life. I come here for cheap dog toys for my pug to tear apart, water and food bowls, pet carriers, etc. I've found some really incredible deals here. Retails has an extensive clothing department that takes up at least 40% of the overall footprint of the store. Clothing is clean, well-displayed and organized, and priced to sell. On one of the discount days I was able to leave the store with a dozen pairs of pants for my husband for less than $30! What a deal! Seriously, if you haven't shopped Retails, RUN! You're bound to find something you just can't live without in this eclectic thrift shop. Be advised, however, sometimes the checkout line can get a little long. I absolutely love Retails Thrift Store. The workers are all very kind and helpful. I appreciate the prices there too as I purchase items and donate them to Northwest Children's Outreach. Found my new favorite thrift store. Quality vintage furniture in very good condition and sewing patterns dating back to the 70's! I even found some patterns that my grandmother used to own. Best retail find to date! Definitely come to visit if you're a fan of thrift shopping, bring a friend even. I also noticed that some people go here to find some nice trinkets for their wedding, such as candle holders, centerpieces and plates! read more

I truly believed that I had written a review for this fabulous little thrift store...apparently, I was mistaken. The best thing about the Retails, is that the proceeds from the store go toward the care and feeding of critters. But beyond that, the store is clean, well organized, and has a lot of cool stuff to browse. My favorite part of the store is the cookware and dining area. If you are getting your first apartment or are newly married, you can find really nice table settings, cookware, and cutlery. I even picked up a few pieces of vintage Pyrex. They also have crystal ware and beautiful teapots. If you are a music/film buff they have an exceptional section for both...books too. If you haven't stopped by, you really should. So many areas to explore, I never feel I have to dig to find anything. Wish they still had fitting rooms (thanks Covid) but really like how they organize the clothes now. By color and then by size. No "women's" section, they're just an extension of the smaller sizes. read more

Didn't have the best selection of pet items, though I thought they would. We came here looking for a cat tree, but didn't find one. We found a couple of dog toys for our dogs, but again, not the widest selection. However, they did have quite a large clothing selection, and furniture as well! read more

I was introduced to this amazing thrift store where their mission is to financially support animals. You can even bring in your pet while you shop. The place is huge! They sell vintage items, items for your pets, household items, clothing, etc. Since Covid with any clothing items, you buy it, take it home to try on & then you have 7 days to return it. Not good if you live far away. On Wednesdays, they offer 50% off clothing. When you make a purchase, you can choose to support animals by rounding up your bill. They're open 7 days a week with a big variety of items at reasonable prices! A lot of items are cheaper than other thrift stores. read more

My favorite thrift store! So well organized and the prices are very fair! My daughter and I especially love the book department and could spend hours there browsing through the titles. As animal lovers, it makes us happy that the proceeds go to support the safety and wellbeing of neglected animals. And the staff is wonderful! Very helpful and friendly! I stop by here every week. The clothes are affordable and overall the store is clean.

Went to third thrift store a couple months ago with my grandma. We love thrifting it's one of our favorite things to do together. We both also love things that are for a cause. So obviously we loved this shop because it supports the humane society . This store has a good selection of clothes and toys, I found some cute bracelets and a vintage my little pony toys here. Everything was very cheap, bracelets were around 30 cents and the pony toy was around $2. Not to also mention the best part about this story was the mini pet shop in the back of the store, there were about 3 cats in the back that are up for adoption. So cute! The staff was understanding when I accidentally cut in line, she was very kind and complimented me on my outfit. Will choose this over the old goodwill any day! 10/10 read more

I would leave a minus star if possible. The web site says it takes furniture and antique and collectibles. We had a truckload of beautiful furniture, records, silver etc etc. even the gal collecting noticed we had a lot of really nice things but they had a sign out (not mentioned on web site) that said large donations needed to be re-scheduled. We drove 20 minutes just to get there because we figured they did business for a good cause. The manager said she would pick through and take the little stuff but she would not allow us to leave the large stuff unless we rescheduled. We ended up going to the dump where we got rid of tons of things this place could have made a lot of money on for the humane society. We are selling mother I laws house and need to be out of town in a couple days and have to get rid of it. This place is no better than the Goodwill. read more

This 5 star rating is for A Thrift Store... One of the nicest I've seen... Nevertheless, it's a Thrift store. Considering all of the product, it's very well laid out and organized. Not only is the clothing organized by type, men's, women's, children's, it's also organized by size and color. That makes shopping so much easier and less time consuming. All of the merchandise was in decent shape. Housewares were organized in a comparable fashion - by type and color. They had seasonal items, a nice selection of books, linens, etc. If something was chipped, it was marked as such and further discounted. The integrity was appreciated. Prices were reasonable and staff was helpful. We bought 10 items for $22. read more

I really wanted to like to this place because I am told they raise money to help animals. I have been in a a handful of times. Each time, I have encountered extremely rude employees. Once I asked if I could see something behind the counter. (I had JUST checked out after waiting 15 minutes in line) When I asked the woman told me "you need to get back in line if you want to see something". Which is fine if I didn't already spend 15 minutes waiting then waiting on her to acknowledge me. Today, I came into the store looking for one specific clothing item. They have mirrors in the clothing sections. When I went to try a button up shirt over my shirt, the employee very loudly and rudely said "we don't allow people to try on items in store. We have a return policy". Also would be so bad if there were a place that was obvious for people to see this and know. And, she didn't yell it loud enough to embarrass me. The two woman isles over from me stared and looked me. One commenting "I had no idea that was the policy". And gave my a look of shock as well at the way she basically made an example of of me. I am all about any place that helps animals being I foster, rescue, TNR, and work with shelters to raise money year round. But, this place really needs to train employees on customer service and treating people like they are humans. I'm very sadden this is my experience here. There have also been a couple other times I come in and the employees after venting about customers, being rude to them and displaying attitude with them. read more

Nicely laid out. I love that the sales benefit animals! But it's in a sketchy part of Vancouver. The furniture prices are too high, but other items are reasonably priced. PLEASE INSTALL DRESSING ROOMS! Gas prices are too high to justify a trip to return clothing. Kristi waited on me at checkout today and the store was incredibly busy. I always buy a lot of jewelry from the shop and it takes quite a bit of time to ring up. I also love to look at the purses at behind the check out. Kristi is always willing to help me. She never complains and she is always very patient. The trip to this store was well worth the visit. There's so much to like -- wonderfully curated, tidy, competitively priced and proceeds go to the Humane Society. If you love a good deal but don't like sorting through crap, this is the store for you. It's important to remind myself why my girlfriend drags me into ReTails occasionally....the $ she spends help go to pets that need help. For a thrift store, this one is nice! I have terrible luck buying used stuff most often but the few items I bought here have been fine. They have tons of stuff without it feeling 'overwhelming'. The shelves are stocked and the store itself seems clean whenever we go in. The employees are really friendly and helpful. Prices are fine as far as used items go. read more
