not a kid friendly store! everything is SUPER overpriced, and there's signs plastered everywhere saying kids aren't allowed to play with the toys. and I mean everywhere. As a parent that is very adamant about cleaning up after my toddler in stores when they play with toys this is bizarre thing to have plastered everywhere in a store geared towards children and women with children? we drove 35 minutes away just to tell my toddler he's not allowed to touch the toys that are in the massive toy section they have. wouldn't recommend! read more

I purchased my daughters a large play toy from Rock It Resell. The item is in good, working condition and I'm sure the girls will love it. I had a great interaction with one of the new owners of the store. The business was recently bought from the previous owners by a nice family -- I spoke with the father/husband. I will be purchasing from them again as well as using them to sell items. Looking at the date on the other Yelp reviews, it seems that many of the negative experiences were with the previous owners. read more

This consignment store sales women's and children's clothing. The women's side is well organized and easy to navigate. I do not recommend bringing your items for consignment if you are wanting money in return. Policies are vague, management is rude, and good luck if you would like to see an itemized receipt. Don't go here with your kids. They display toys on the floor and then get an attitude if children touch or move the toys. I was the first customer in the door this morning and my kids were playing with some of the large playsets on display while I looked at jackets and boots next to them. So a woman there felt compelled to explain that this wasn't acceptable because "these are people's things that we're trying to sell for them." Thank you. I know how a consignment shop works. Are you familiar with children at all? My kids didn't break anything or remove anything from its packaging. They know how to put things back in place. They know that toy stores are places where they can suggest purchases to me of things they like. It was impossible to shop after that because my entire attention was on the impossible task to needlessly redirecting my kids from "helping" me select boots for them. I didn't stay to choose a marble run or fine motor skills toys, like I'd intended. The baby spit up while I was looking for my wallet and the gals at the front desk just pointed it out awkwardly and stared at me like I was supposed to materialize carpet cleaning supplies. I'm not Marry F-ing Poppins. Your store sells children's clothing and toys. Have you never seen an infant before? Do your usual clients send a personal shopper? read more

I've gone in to shop quite a few times since the store got new ownership and was rebranded. I love this new version of this consignment store! The staff is welcoming and super helpful, and there is a large selection of quality items for women and children. I've always been able to find awesome deals: think $5 clearance on some items:) I love that the sale items are prominently displayed out front and that you can find brand named pieces in new or like-new condition. I called on April 25th on a Monday about 11am to inquire about the process of selling clothing. The woman I spoke with responded in a rude, condescending tone as she proceeded to tell me the policy. I am rating this interaction as a 1 star. The ability to talk to customers properly by using the right tone of voice while giving them the information they need is the foundation of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The world has so much negativity already why would you have to be negative about a simple question from a person who can help support your business. I've been shopping here since my son was a baby. He's fourteen now and we still find great pieces for him. I've found 99% of his clothes here his whole life (other than shoes consistently and underwear), and have thus saved a-lot of $$$. The quality is usually excellent. My first experience trying to sell at this store is the worst. I brought brand new Victoria secret bags and two pairs of leather shoes which weren't worn before. Since it was my first time dropping off the goods, a store representative looked through my stuff and *confirmed* that everything is in good condition and there will be no problems with displaying them on the floor (according to the contract, damaged clothes and shoes will not be displayed and will be donated) when I came to the store to see if my stuff were sold after a month, I was told that both of my pairs of shoes were donated because they were damaged - which is a blatant lie! Be aware of bringing good things to this store, they will be found missing or "donated" without your say! I just learned that similar issues were encountered by others in the comments. My guess is that the staff appropriates whatever they like for themselves without selling, as there is no proof of what happens to things once you give them away. When I confronted the same staff who had accepted my things, that I won't do business here I got a "that's ok" reply, spoken like a true thief! I will be reporting this business as a fraud. read more

I've taken clothes here several times for consignment. There is a blond lady that works the counter that is always so helpful and friendly. She's attentive and answers questions honestly. Their process is very clear and outlined on their website. I give them 4 stars only because there is no invoice or anything that is sent to you so you know what your items are actually selling for. I'd love there to be a little more transparency in that. Overall their shopping selection is great and most prices seem to be fair. read more

I came across Rock It Resale by accident when I was on their eBay page and was interested in purchasing a item online but picking it up in store. The process went so well thanks to the wonderful communication I had with Ryan who was quick, helpful, and friendly. I came into the store and tried the item on and it didn't fit right so I returned it and received my money back through PayPal immediately. This is an awesome clothing store. Tons of name brand clothing for great prices, shoes, handbags, cute sweaters and coats. The lady that helped me in the store was so helpful and nice and also helped me pick out some jewelry to match the outfit I got. This was my first visit. I'll probably give it one more try, but generally speaking I wasn't impressed based on some of the other consignment shops in the area. Prices and styles were decent. The fitting rooms were good sized. I saw one shirt that was stained, and a few more items that were visibly dirty or too wrinkled to be presentable (imho). At least two of the racks had too many clothes on them to easily browse through the items and required constant force from both hands to pry open a space to get a fair visual. I actually ended up breaking a hanger trying to get good look at one blouse. Staff wasn't exactly rude or unfriendly, but the gal never spoke to me after the initial greeting when I walked in... nor while I was making a purchase, other than to ask me if I wanted a bag. I have to say I was also a little turned off when I saw the employee trying on clothes at the register. Seemed like it would have been more professional to set the items aside and wait until the store was completely empty or wait until the end of the shift. All that to stay, I did make a purchase, and I will probably visit one more time, but I don't have high hopes of this becoming one of my regular stops. read more
