Harvey's a fast food option that we don't have at home in MA, so when I spotted one shortly after…read morewe came off exit 45 from Route 104S, I suggested it for our lunchtime destination. It was located by the shopping center that houses Walmart, Michael's, and Canada's own Tim Horton's, among other stores.
Hamburgers we have, as we do chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, french fries, and hot dogs (though not at our basic trio - McDonald's, Burger King's, and Wendy's). We have fish sandwiches back home, but like McDonald's Filet o Fish, so we opted to try Harvey's version ($4.99 each, $7.99 as a trio), a braised beef sandwich $7.49 ($10.49 as a trio), with milk, onion rings ($1.99 a la carte), cheese sticks (5 for $2.99), and Beignes (4 for $1.99). We bowed out of the poutine as we were still potatoed out from breakfast.
The fish sandwich was preferred over the braised beef sandwich. The cheese sticks had a hole in the center, and were eh. I liked the beignes, even though I had actually ordered the seasonal lime flavor and they erroneously gave us the original cinnamon sugar version instead.
I also liked how Harvey's will personalize your order to some extent like Subway's, with a counter where you may add optionals such as lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, peppers. olives, cucumber, and a variety of sauces.
