They ask lots of questions and helpful in every way. The store is really small and cramped when it gets busy. If eating in you'll have a lot of takeout order people standing around hovering over you. The food is just okay. Nothing great and not horrible. They use a good size and piece of fish and it was good just a little over cooked. The chicken has a lot of breading and is severely over cooked on many pieces. Any piece that wasn't overcooked tasted great. The breading has good flavor. The fries need SALT; add salt before eating. They are dry and tasteless. Not sure I'd waste my time stopping again, but I can see why regulars visit. There aren't many options I. The area.

The takeout crowd was steady, even well into the evening on a Sunday, but after a short wait we had our food and popped over to one of the picnic tables that line their expansive parking lot. I snagged a two-piece combo, and opted for a side of gravy instead of a side dish. The chicken was hot out of the fryer, tender and moist. The skin - arguably the best part of fried chicken - was nicely seasoned, and tasted similar to KFC in flavour and style. The crispness of Korean fried chicken is king in my opinion, but this old school style certainly has its place. I am glad that we had it on location, as time and steaming in its own heat would not do it any favours. I always enjoy the concept of crinkle cut fries, but the execution is often a mixed bag. Lick-a-Chick's were somewhere in the middle - not soggy and disappointing, but not crispy enough to be particularly memorable either. Just a decent, average fry that made for a good gravy-delivery-system. Long standing institutions like Lick-a-Chick are still here for a reason, providing tasty treats at reasonable prices, and becoming a part of the community that they serve.

There is ample parking across the motel looking building. Once you enter, there is a lovely shop of trinkets and then there is a nice cozy seating area. There's a self serve sauce bar and some cute puzzles to occupy you while you. wait for your food. You can get a lunch special which comea with a drink or you can order dim sum ala carte. The staff are so lovely and were fast in service. The food itself was served hot and fresh. It wasn't overly salty and the peach drink was ice cold, perfect on a hot day. I noticed they have a buffet option on Saturdays too which is super unique. We'd love to visit again if we pass by Sydney in the future!

I paid for cooked food, not to fix the food you screw up. The owner was terrible, took hours to respond to my complaint, admitted that they used a different soy sauce but failed to adjust the recipe before handing out to customers and in the end, did not even offer a refund or replacement--only 2 bubble teas and suggested to order rice with it next time. It was such a horrible experience. Terrible customer service. Not worth your money.

Management lacks leadership skills and favourites other employers. Mold underneath the pop machine and always chaos in the kitchen. Worst thing KFC Plummer Ave did was allow a 25 year old to run it. They aren't actively searching for replacements and incredible employers quit every week because of the mental exhaustion from being surrounded by such toxic, and poor management. Besides the expired lettuce, and expired bacon, you'll end up leaving the dining area feeling uncomfortable because of how oblivious the staff is. After working at KFC, I no longer can support any Kentucky Fried Chicken after truly acknowledging that these "higher ups" do not care about ANYBODY working there. Only the service which you bring. If you apply in future: DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE. Don't mistake "reliable" as "easy to take advantage of" And FIGHT for equality. ESPECIALLY if you are Canadian. These Indians have no problem making you appear to be the issue in a COUNTRY THEY are not even PERMANENT RESIDENTS in. Also, we were told to offer people free fries if they leave us a good review. So it's hard to pick apart which one is authentic and which one is not. Before becoming a customer here, ask yourself if it's worth respecting such a business.

I can tell you it is definitely not the chicken from Kentucky Fried Chicken days notice they don't even call it chicken anymore they just promote it as KFC. I'm lucky if I eat here twice a year as it is either extremely greasy and the portions are much smaller . Years ago I would eat here at least once a week sometimes 2 as it was soooo good.
