a plate of food on a counter

Standard Canadian breakfast that is a great option before a flight at Pearson International Airport. At the crack of dawn when you're hungry and waiting to board your flight, what better way to start your journey than to get some breakfast. I opted for A&W breakfast at Pearson International Airport and it didn't disappoint. Got the All-Canadian Special which consisted of two eggs, two strips of smoke bacon, two sausage links, hashbrown, tomato and your choice of bread. It's the standard Canadian breakfast items that you can't go wrong with. Wait times are long and the service is kind of slow. Perhaps it's because it was super early in the morning (we're talking about 7AM here) and the day was just getting started for most. Jam can be found on the side of the cash and you can grab it yourself. Ketchup is also self serve. The containers that hold this breakfast is like a large cardboard plate that you cannot throw away into their garbage bin, since their garbage bin is just a small hole. So I had no choice but to leave it ontop of the garbage Overall, it's your standard breakfast place that is great to grab before a flight!

Nice to have some no nonsense, reasonably priced food choices at the airport, and A&W delivers in terms of reliable options. There was a line when I got there, but it moves quickly. They call out your order numbers once they are ready for pickup. I ordered a Mama burger without cheese. The burger was fresh and tasty. I appreciated the light toasted texture on the bun. I also appreciated the paper packaging for less environmental impact. Currently during pandemic there isn't seating in the immediate area.

Double Uncle burger 10oz of pure 100% ALBERTA beef

My view of A&W was that it is a greasy spoon and you need a coupon to go there; in fact, it still is. However, they have changed the perception of how bad of a greasy spoon they are by being the first to claim That their beef is steroid free, that their fried chicken is antibiotic free and that their coffee is organic amongst many other basic "claims" which are all true - BUT all beef, sold at even the smallest of the burger chains, is steroid free and all chickens served at Canadian restaurants are free of antibiotics etc. Being the first to make such claims in multi-million dollar ad campaigns on tv, radio, billboards and in-store has given A&W an image of a reinvented, wholesome, healthy fast food. Well, it's all about perception, and it is working regardless of The fact that it is a greasy spoon and you need a coupon to get in there; enough said. Now why am I still a fan? It's because A&W has, hands down, the industry's best (new) biggest single patty burger: the uncle burger. Everything else on the menu is crappy and greasy. But the 6oz uncle burger is burger-goodness-at-its-best. All other chains need two patties to make it a great big burger; the uncle burger changes the game and with the pepper seasoning and a diet coke to go with it, I'm in burger heaven for the ten minutes it takes to chow everything down and get the hell Out of there! It's still a greasy spoon and everything else on the menu is horrible, overpriced and... Greasy! (Hence why they put out buy one get one coupons in the mail Practically every month of the year lol) Located At the Pearson airport's Terminal1 post-security (at domestic gates D38-42), they have these nifty self-ordering automatic stations which let you customize the order and pay in seconds on the screen and wait till your order is called out and then delivered really fast. Which is great as the fumes of the fryers and grease from the open kitchen are starting to invade my lungs; time to scoot over to the gate and board the plane without needing a jar of gravol to calm down any nausea lol. Damn, this is a great burger!

All Canadian breakfast 6.95 plus tax. Good deal

The place itself is pretty simple, more of a casual spot. Not super aesthetic or anything, but it's clean and works for a quick meal. It was busy when I went, so clearly a popular spot. We got a few things: the Oklahoma Fried double smash, the classic double, and the truffle mushroom Swiss double. The burgers were good, like no complaints, but I'll be honest they were kinda mid compared to the hype. The patties were cooked well and everything tasted fresh, but nothing really stood out or made me think wow I need this again. The onion rings were sooo good though. Easily the best part of the meal. Super crispy, not greasy, and just done perfectly. I'd go back just for those. It is a bit pricey though. The burgers are like $14-$18, and once you add sides it adds up pretty fast. For what you get, it does feel a little expensive. Service was good, everything came out pretty quick which I liked. Overall, it's a decent spot and worth trying once, but it didn't fully live up to the hype for me. I'd probably rate it around a 7/10, mainly carried by the onion rings lol.

It had their own version of the Big Mac sauce which gave a hint of tanginess and sharpness to the burger. Their fries were also really good. Matcha Latte (5/5) was earthy with a subtle sweetness. It was enjoyable. The service could be improved moving forward. There were only three tables at the time, including ours, but it felt like the server wasn't as attentive as we'd hope she would be. We had to remind them about our drink halfway through our meal. The cup also had a coffee stain which we had to rub off with a napkin as we found it quite unpleasant. The washroom could also use some regular cleaning throughout the day. Overall, the food was delicious but I decided to deduct a point for the lack of attentiveness and cleanliness of the washroom.

First off, the food they gave me was incredible-super fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. You can tell they really care about the quality because everything tasted top-tier. But what made the whole experience a perfect 10/10 was the customer service. Huge shoutout to Khaled, who was incredibly chill and welcoming. He went above and beyond and even hooked me up with a free cookie with my order! It's rare to find a spot that has both elite food and legendary service, but these guys nailed it. I'm definitely making this a regular spot from now on. If you haven't checked them out yet, you're seriously missing out. 10/10!

From the moment we walked in, Khalid--now officially our "uncle"--welcomed us with warmth and hospitality that you just don't find everywhere. He made sure we were comfortable, checked in on us like family, and truly made us feel cared for. And the food? Absolutely incredible. I had the Hot Canadiana, and it was a flavor explosion--juicy, perfectly cooked beef with just the right kick from the jalapeños. Every bite had the perfect balance of spice, savoriness, and freshness. It was so good that I had to come back the next day for round two, and it was just as amazing. This is what customer service should be. Khalid uncle runs this place with so much love, and you can taste it in every bite. If you're in the area (or even if you're not-- I come from Pickering for), GC Burger deserves your business. I know I'll be back again and again!

Got takeout tonight, I had originally wanted five guys, but we decided to try this place out…read morebecause UberEats had a coupon and their restaurant had one too (so I saved $50 on our order). The burgers were dry and crispy. I loved my burger, but my wife and grampa didn't and then the fries. They are edible, that's the consensus we came to, edible. I mistakenly ordered a large, it was a mistake because they suck. Super soggy and tasteless. I coated my fries in a meat rub and into the air fryer they went. I liked my burger, it was great. But my wife and grampa said theirs were dry and crispy. So it looks like 1/3rd of the time you'll get a great burger. I won't be going back. Sticking with the better gourmet burger places symposium or browns.

I had a hankering for something tasty but couldn't figure out what it was that I wanted. Japanese, Thai, Pizza or Burgers? Peeked at the menu online and with so many appealing options, still couldn't decide on what to get.. or whether to order online for pickup.. or get delivery.. so I drove my indecisive ass to Burger Bros after an hour of back and forth debating between restaurants! I was very hangry and my stomach was rumbling! Arrived at 6pm with no one in the place but me. The man taking my order was very friendly. I imagine that he's the owner. Asked him about two options; Adopted and Broski (not much of a difference between the two) and he recommended Step Brothers but I wasn't feeling a meat patty then and settled on the Broski instead. Wanted to wash my hands in the washroom but the WC was closed so the man allowed me to wash in the basin behind the counter. Appreciated that so much! After placing my order, dozens of people came through!! The place filled up rather quickly. I kept moving around like a chess piece on a chess board to make space while I waited. Within twenty minutes, my order was ready. The bag was piping hot, just the way I like it. There was no way I could wait to eat so I drove over to the next plaza, parked the car and devoured my sandwich. It was really good! Received three thick pieces of chicken strips in a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, mozzarella cheese, pickles and various sauces. I inhaled my burger and said to myself, next time, I'll order two. No fries were consumed. Heard the portions are big and can be shared between two, so that's what I'ma do next time! Very affordable prices for the amount received. Much cleaner than other fast food joints.

From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a smile and friendliness from the staff. Jenna took our order and was very nice to talk to. She made our experience a lot more pleasant and memorable. This location is great, keeping the same aesthetics and branding. I loved seeing new menu items, such as the Nashville Chicken, which I decided to try. The verdict? Everything was great! I love how the burgers are always made juicy, tasty and that you can customize the toppings you want. Pricing is affordable, and there is a great selection to choose from. The strawberry milkshake brought back memories of CNE and tasted like a funnel cake - it was the highlight drink for me. The oreo shake was also good, though I preferred the strawberry. I love the spices added on the tornado fries. I personally prefer regular fries or poutine over the cheesy fries, but I still liked the options available for the sides. I also love the jalapeño poppers and Mac n cheese bites. Washroom was clean and the location is ideal. Though there's many sifferent burger restaurants options in the area, I'd still opt in for Burger Factory as they always keep the consistency of freshness and quality.
