My mom and I came through here on our way to Moab awhile back and it was great! I haven't been to an A&W in awhile but the food was good and everything came out quick. There's a bowling alley in this place too which was unexpected, and it was clean when we were there. Some murals on the walls and parking was easy of course in a small town. Mykai got our order and everyone was really friendly there so we were happy we stopped in!

It took OVER AN HOUR to get a burger. If you're on a long road trip, beware. If they can't hire enough help, they shouldn't be open.

This place SUCKS. Easily the worst burger I've ever had. I'd rather drive 100 mes to a McDonalds than choke down this garbage again

Customer service was good. Root beer float was amazing. Chicken was delicious. Burger was decent, burger meat was very bland.

Came back home and ordered the same burgers at our local A&W and they weren't as good as the ones we ate in Blanding.

There's no road quite as long as the one between your last fun destination on an extended summer…read moreroad trip, and the driveway of your house. The summer of 2020 made for some interesting nuances and nuisances with COVID-19 as we put 7000 miles on the odometer enjoying our great nation by car, but like all of our excursions, it was an amazing time. Traveling with three kids under 12 is not without its delights or its challenges; indeed, some of their best fights and most tender moments have come sitting side by side by side in the rear seat of my truck. When those fights come around lunch time, the best way to assuage their angst is to feed them, of course. And so, having left Moab, UT and heading south towards northern Arizona and eventually our Southern California home, we found ourselves in this quaint little southern Utah town with a pack of ravenous kids. A quick scan of the main drag revealed that choices were few here as far as a fast pull-in/pull-out and drive-while-we-eat experience... so Subway became the quick and easy choice. I have one rule for Subways that has saved me a lot of grief: I don't eat at a Subway attached to a gas station. Following this one guideline, we have always had a solid experience, and this place was no different. Since we were towing a pop-up camper trailer, we opted to park in the back and walk in vs. hitting the drive thru. The young lady working the counter was kind and patient with my kiddos who change their mind the faster than Missouri weather... and she wasn't shy about loading up veggies and fixins on the sandwiches. She was also happy to load me up with all the Picante-phile hot stuff (if you want to call it "hot"... but hey, it's Subway): jalapenos, Sriracha, pepperoncinis... you get the deal. All told, we were in and out in ten minutes, and back on the long road home. The restaurant was cleaner and the staff kinder than usual, and that's saying something for a small-town place catering to folks "just passing through" that doesn't really need to be either. Best wishes, small-town Subway, we hardly knew ya. But if the route catches us right again, we'll be back to see you again!

Grandma's was closed, but this stand was open. They have quite a lot on the menu for such a small stand, and a lot of options for fry bread. We decided to go with the regular fry bread with cinnamon and sugar. The two ladies inside were friendly and got our order ready quickly. It was nice and fresh as they made it while we waited. It was extremely windy that day, so even though there were tables and seating available, we opted to just eat in the car and head back out on the road. In fact, it's the only spot in the area to grab food. They got a picnic table where you can sit and eat, which is nice if you want to take a quick break. I tried the traditional fried bread ($8). You can choose your own toppings, either sweet or savory. They have options like cinnamon sugar, honey, or garlic salt. I went with the garlic salt one, and while it was definitely on the salty side, it had a great garlicky flavor that I liked. They also sell snow cones in different flavors, and sodas are $3 and water is $2. They also really appreciate cash payments. Service was great. Food didn't take that long to come out.
