The job was started within two weeks of our first call (1 week was due to us waiting on other quotes). Our prep work was done thoroughly for both the wood and stucco. We love the final product and it gave the house a facelift that took 70 years off. I had 5 estimates and decided to go with Howard. He wasn't the cheapest, but his price is very fair! Very reasonable. But the VALUE was what I got out of it. He went through the technical details of what he was going to do, and his crew delivered! His crew, Juan, is super experienced. He did all the tedious work that makes the difference of how the paint looks. I didn't know this, but the prep work is one of the MOST important things to get done for paint to stick. They pressure washed it, sanded down any bad rot, cleaned off as much dirt and old paint as possible, filled in the patches, taped all the doors and windows, then put on primer and 2 coats of paint. He sprayed and rolled it over, which most painters did not offer. This paint job will last 10-15 years easy because of his fine details. The house is more than 80 years old and needed a major make over. His knowledge went beyond just paint. He knew stuff about the roof, the wood, and the ventilation of the house. The roofing job done on our house had a slight oversight and didn't install a roof ventilation, and we were able to have our roofer someback and fix it. He pointed out the dry rots before we started work. Not only that, he went above and beyond to fill in a few patches, installed some basic window trims at no cost. Due to privacy these days, I won't post all the photos of the house. But we are very happy with our exterior paintjob. he also did a wonderful job on my interior orange door that I posted here.
