Throughout the quoting process, he always followed through on his promised timeline--even replying to emails 10:30pm at night when he said he would. That gave me confidence that he was reliable, and he continued that same level of responsiveness throughout the entire project. He was proactive about communicating progress, explaining any issues, and setting expectations every step of the way. One thing I really appreciated was how patient and flexible he was during the color selection process. Choosing exterior colors is stressful, but Alejandro never rushed us. He was willing to make additional trips to our house, provide larger sample areas, and even test the same colors in different sheens so we could confidently compare them in different lighting conditions. That level of customer service is rare. His experience also showed during the estimate. Out of all the painters we met with, Alejandro was the only one who immediately pointed out some rotted trim that needed attention and also asked whether we planned to paint the railings and front door so the entire house would look cohesive. He was clearly looking at the house as a whole, not just quoting what was on paper. He repaired the damaged wood at a very reasonable price. Another contractor tried to upsell us that the entire wood trim needed to be replaced, which turned out to be completely unnecessary. The craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. We had years of chipped paint, patched areas from old DIY repairs, and other imperfections that I thought would always be visible. Alejandro's team took the time to prep everything properly, smoothing the walls and repairing those areas so the finished result looks like a brand-new house. They even painted the old metal retrofit window frames, something I hadn't originally thought about, and it made an incredible difference. Everything now feels clean, cohesive, and professionally finished. On top of all that, their pricing was one of the fairest we received, they were able to start much sooner than other contractors, and they completed the project on schedule. Our house went from looking tired and dated to looking fresh, timeless, and like one of the nicest homes on the street. We couldn't be happier with the result. If you're looking for a painting company that is professional, responsive, detail-oriented, and truly cares about the final result, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alejandro and his team. They spent a good amount of time prepping, taping, and covering windows to make sure the job was done neatly. They also sanded peeling/chipped paint and patched holes in the stucco. They were respectful of our property and also our neighbors' property that they needed to access to paint the side of our house. Peter is very knowledgeable about paint brands, colors, and finishes. He had helpful recommendations for things we hadn't even considered, like painting the porch floor a lighter color to contrast the darker walls so it didn't feel like a dark cave and selecting a flat finish to avoid highlighting places where the stucco was patched. We hadn't picked all the paint colors before the job started and Peter stopped by on his day off on the weekend to share samples of paint colors that he obtained for us from the store. We really wanted a bright color for our door and even though it required many coats, Peter was willing to do the extra work to make the bright yellow look good. Peter was heavily involved in both overseeing his team and in doing a lot of the work himself. Every morning he met with his crew and gave very detailed instructions on exactly how he wanted everything done. He was on site for the entire job making sure everything was done properly. When they finished the work they did a good job cleaning up. Peter and the team were extremely responsible, honest, and very talented. The cost was reasonable considering the high quality of the work and craftsmanship. We were so impressed by the Final Coat Painting team that we highly recommend them to friends and would hire them again for future jobs!

They were able to quickly and efficiently repair the leak, open up the drywall to repair all the mold damage, and then replace the drywall and repaint/retexture the wall. Oh, they stayed on to re-deck my aged and rotting wood deck with some modern synthetic decking. Yes, quite a bit of repair work, yet all done within a couple of weeks. Well, it's been about two years since they've done this work and I'm sitting in this season's first major rainstorm thankful that the repair work has been holding quite well. Thanks to Alex, Ilya, and their hardworking crew for the excellent repair work. Regarding the original windows that I needed repaired, well, that turned out to be more complicated. Fortunately, Ilya and Alex were good on their commitment to complete the job until the leaking completely stopped. Yes, what a relief now that the rainy weather has picked up again this winter. When I asked him for a written quote, he sent one that was vague, didn't make any sense, and didn't cover what we discussed - for $4700. The quote was also unprofessional and had terrible grammar and spelling which affected its content as well. It did, however, in proper grammar, say that any work that is beyond what it in the description will cost extra. (What description?) When I asked for the specifics that we discussed to be in the quote, I got a rude and dismissive response. I explained that it wouldn't be smart of me to agree to pay $4700 without a full description of the work that made sense and covered what we discussed. But I got no revised quote. When I contacted the owner Alex, he asked me to disregard the quote. Thereafter, I waited for an entire day for a new quote and didn't get one. When I asked whether there would be a new quote, I got no response. I followed up again one day later, and was ignored again. It seems this company doesn't stand by its offers, behaves unprofessionally, and treats customers poorly - at least in my experience. They seem to ghost you when you simply ask for a basic written contract (as is required legally for such a high priced job). I don't see how ignoring a customer who is asking for something basic and reasonable is good business.

I even purchased a new internal flushing kit. I called Mark of Accolade Home Services, and in no time, he identified the problem. It was not the flushing mechanism but was with the connectors under the toilet to the wall. He replaced the key connector that wasn't working from the toilet to the wall - a part he carries in his truck. He also replaced the internal mechanism that I'd purchased, as those do get older with time. In about 30 - 40 minutes he was done! Problem solved!
