My second project w/ Brava Handyman was to install a screen panel wall to make an area to store garbage cans. I bought the screen panels, they installed them. It wasn't simple, a footing was required, the surface was uneven, etc. The installation was done efficiently I am very happy with the results. read more

Crizan helped me 1. Open a new attic entrance (framing, paint, rewire existing electrical lines) 2. Install a new food disposal 3. Install a new vanity, backsplash (cutting from my remaining kitchen counter stone) 4. Install a new vanity faucet 5. New electrical wire for outlet in the backyard and light. He really knows how to do/fix many different things. And I think he took precious feedback from other people and left my house pretty clean. He made sure to clean up all the garbage generated from the work. Besides, the communication also went pretty well. He's very responsive and on time. He gets the work done and no slack. In terms of price, some items are cheaper than what I quoted compared to other handymen and some are slightly more. But I still think it's very worth it to hire him. Since it's not that easy for me to finally find someone who can do all the stuff. This is a review that is overdue. A few months back, Crizan helped me with installing a garbage disposal under sink, changing a GFCI power outlet, and installing a new shower head. He did a great job overall. The most impressive thing was that he constantly invited me to check out and test whenever he finished a part. In case there's anything pops up, he finished it to the perfection. He is really efficient, professional, responsible, and detail oriented. Recently, I found the pipe under sink to the air vent was a bit leaking. I contacted him and he responded right away and set up a time to come check it out. Crizan was timely and finished the job quickly. I only had him redo the caulking around my tub and toilet. It took him 30 minutes. He's a bit pricey and could have done a better job cleaning up, but for someone who physically couldn't do the job, it was fine. read more

It is unfortunate but I wanted to warn the rest out there. Crizan started off fantastic. The first handful of jobs were reasonably priced and the work was professional and timely. However the last time he came to install some motion sensors and I felt he was overcharging me. He didn't budge and I gave in. I just asked about painting one set of kids cubbies at my wifes After School and his price was 2-3X more than other handymans that I quoted on Yelp. Crizan came by to take a look at the broken-tile problem I was having, and gave a quote, scheduled the job for a few days later, and started looking for the replacement tiles. The reason I called him was for two stone tiles that were in a window surround by the shower; they had fallen off and broken. He showed up on the agreed upon day and did the job with no fuss. The finished result is very tight, so that it would be neraly impsosible to tell where the work was done. read more

We agreed to meet the next day; he said he would give me a time... and then never did. No response the next day. I understand that "things happen". We hired Bravo's Handyman to install our dishwasher, which required destruction of the existing cabinet space, new electrical outlet, new plumbing connections, and dishwasher assembly. He was cheaper than other contractors we contacted, but I'm not sure we still got a fair rate (~$900 for labor + materials, ~7 hr job). Bravo was quick and responsive throughout the process. As for the level of quality, the job was mostly there, but I had multiple elements to review/fix. The dishwasher door seal was installed loosely and we were wondering why it was finicky when doing test runs, so I had to redo the assembly. One of the new plumbing tubes was loose and only started dripping after a while, so I had to reconnect that. The dishwasher was not centered due to screws left over from the previous installation that were pretty noticeable upon closer inspection, and I didn't want to have to reconnect everything, so I had to manually saw them off in a tight space. Around this time, I noticed the sink tub dripping water where the work happened, but that could've happened before and went unnoticed, so I will give the benefit of the doubt on this one. I can only hope the electrical work was wired properly, because that is behind the wall. I notified him about each issue, and he offered to come back to repair it, but no one wants to have to reschedule/redo work. At least the dishwasher turns on and runs properly now, so there's hope in that. With any home projects, you hope to get a contractor who approaches the work carefully and thoroughly, someone who measures twice and cuts once, so you can enjoy the use of the projects without worries. The last thing you want is that you need to redo work that you hired and paid someone else to do. We certainly did not get that kind of experience. read more

Crizan Bravo is a rockstar of a handyman. He came to our house to do all sorts of jobs from installing bidets to faucets to fixing clogged sink to installing wall hooks and towel racks and even help hang wall art. He is a trooper and does not say no to anything and really has a pretty good attitude not to mention he's highly skilled at what he does as well. He installed the bathroom grab bars for my elderly mom to get in and out of the shower did a great job he also adjusted the French doors leading to my back yard which are always out of adjustment he also did a great job with that as well. The main problem was my dishwasher that was installed under the granite countertop is not draining. I called 2 plumbers who were not able to even diagnose the problem because they were unable to pull out the dishwasher. They advised me to call a carpenter to shave off the plywood on the sides that kept the dishwasher from being pulled out.after many calls to handyman and carpenters who told me the job was too small for them . I called Crizal who responded immediately and came the same day to fix our problem. He didn't charge us any $$$ .
