In response to owner claims, I want to clarify a few key FACTS to anyone who's considering hiring him: #1 I hired a licensed plumber the next day, and they fixed everything for a comparable price. No exaggerated scope, and no claims about "thousands of dollars" of work - confirming this was a straightforward repair when done properly. #2 I did not have a leak until he messed up. The leak appeared within minutes after my pipes were taken apart, which I documented with timestamped photos (12:17 PM payment vs. 12:28 PM leak, on the same day). #3 I paid $220 for a clog repair, yet no snake was used. The only method used was a store-bought DIY drain solution, and the clog was not actually resolved. ---- What kind of plumber creates a leak that never existed? I had no leak before this visit. He took apart my pipes while changing the pop-up drain and caused a new leak, then was unable to fix the damage he created. I now have to spend more time and money fixing a problem caused by him. On top of that, I was quoted $110, then upsold to $220 to "fix a clog." He claimed to have a snake but never used it. Instead, he poured a DIY drain solution from Home Depot, which did not fix the clog. Paid more, original issue not resolved, and left with new plumbing problems. Would not recommend. read more

I have had a wonderful experience with Ilia. The morning that I started looking for a handyman, he came over to give me a quote. I appreciated the prompt response and his easy scheduling. Upon arriving, we did a quick walkthrough of what I was hoping and he said he would be able to get right on the job. The next day he came over with materials in hand, ready to work and he far exceeded my expectations. I had asked for a simple gate, instead I got a beautiful wood gate that matched our other gates perfectly. On the opposite side of the house, we only needed a post to fix the existing gate, but not only did he add the post, he showed us how he can fix the existing gate to be a better fit for the area and remove the gap underneath (which we really needed but hadn't yet seen). The door came with an installation guide that was confusing at best and a ton of excessive parts that were not applicable for my door opening, but they methodically sorted through everything and organized the parts that mattered and were able to install the door without issue.
