Review for Greenleaf Produce…read more My experience with Greenleaf Produce has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. On October 23rd, one of their trucks kicked up a rock that hit my windshield with force, immediately creating a bullet hole-like impact and a spiderweb crack at the bottom of the glass. Over the last two weeks, this crack has expanded across both sides of my windshield, making the damage even worse. The worst part? This could have been entirely prevented if their mudflaps were working correctly. The truck did have mudflaps, but they were flapping up wildly, completely exposing the tires--as if they were "flying like a cape" rather than doing their job to protect other vehicles. I even have video evidence showing the mudflaps failing to function as they should, and I'll be attaching photos below to show exactly what I mean. When I reached out to Greenleaf, getting in touch with the right person was a huge hassle. After several days and multiple attempts, I finally connected with the department head, who said he'd reach out to insurance and follow up with me. Yet I had to chase him down again, only to hear that their insurance won't take responsibility, claiming that "Greenleaf didn't put the rock on the road." This completely misses the point: while they might not have placed the rock there, their inadequate equipment and non-compliance with proper safety standards caused it to hit my windshield. As a single mom, I can't afford this $900+ repair, yet Greenleaf Produce has refused to take any responsibility. To anyone considering doing business with them, beware: this company's negligence caused serious damage, and they've made it clear that they won't stand behind the consequences of their actions.

I ordered through Greenleaf at the last restaurant that I worked in San Mateo. The smartphone app…read moremade it easy to place orders and check prices in even in the walk-In. They would send seasonal flyers with our deliveries occasionally as the seasons changed. Our driver Oscar was always cracking us up and was friendly. Pricey, but worth the quality and variety of products that they carry. Would recommend!

How is this mud flap supposed to prevent rocks from escaping? Come on Green Leaf?!

I was worried that after moving from the San Mateo area to Daly City, I was leaving behind my…read morefavorite sushi spot and wouldn't find anything that could compare. Well, I was completely wrong! This place is such a hidden gem that I almost didn't want to leave a review because I wanted to keep it all to myself! My friend and I recently visited, and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed. It's located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The restaurant itself is adorable, clean, and inviting. We sat in the cute Japanese-style seating area (which the padding on these seats are a bit thin so just to be aware of), but they also offer traditional tables, a sushi bar, and what appeared to be a semi-outdoor patio with heat lamps. We're both kinda sushi snobs, and the sushi here was fresh, high-quality, and beautifully prepared. The service was friendly, efficient, and very fast. I'm beyond happy to have found this spot and can confidently say it's become my new go-to sushi restaurant in the area!

I had been meaning to come here for a while, but never had the chance so I was pretty excited to try the place out. The place is cozy, there are tables on one side and a sorta of deeper table on the other where you sort of sit into the seat, a bit different than sitting at a table, but adds to a more intimate experience. I had a quick beer before my friend showed up, and it was indeed refreshing. I looked over the menu and instantly saw the treasure box, which I've seen on the Yelp page, and we both ordered that. We didn't ask for the item menus, as my friend had been here multiple times and just told me to dig in. I started with the monk fish liver, and wow oh wow, I'm not a fan of liver at all, but the way they cooked this was fab-u-lous! The steamed egg following it was refreshing, and then just eating each piece of sashimi and sushi was amazing. Every item tasted super fresh and had the right amount of flavor, so I didn't need to add anything extra. It was an amazing experience, and for the price point, I will definitely be coming back!
