Yeah, this was the worst manicure I've ever had. I cant believe she left my hands like this. No cuticle oil, didnt even bring the polish to the edges. She violently yanked cuticle off after my hands sat in cold water. And then, to add insult to injury, hands down the most painful, terrible pedicure I've ever had! Yes i have ingrowns, not something new...however when someone is jumping out of the chair and screaming in pain and you don't even look up from your chair, let alone STOP, that is an awful experience for a beautiful Sunday lol. Not only was the ingrown extraction painful, but the water was cold, I asked for hot and I got a splash and then she turned it off lol. She didn't even soak my feet when I sat down, she raw dogged my poor cuticles and nails without even soaking to soften my cuticles and nails. So clipping hard nails on already tender ingrowns was NOT the vibe. Over all a terrible experience. Will never be back, sad cuz they are so local. Back to the drawing board we go... read more

I was referred to Rebecca by a friend and initially had high hopes. I've experienced a lot of trauma from nail techs who would unnecessarily file down my nails, even when I was getting soft gel -- which doesn't require that. That over-filing would wreck my nail beds for months. So when I first met Rebecca, I voiced that concern. She seemed to totally understand and validated my experience. I was so relieved -- I thought I'd finally found someone I could stick with. Let me be clear: her nail work isn't the issue. I've always loved how my nails came out. The issue is her total lack of professionalism when it comes to communication -- and more importantly, how she handles client concerns. The last time I saw her, I got a French tip. After seeing the final result, I mentioned it looked a bit too stark white, so I kindly asked if she could add a chrome coat on top to soften the brightness. She did, and I sincerely told her I loved the result and thanked her. She never indicated that there was a problem. But less than 24 hours later, one of the nails started cracking. I sent her a photo and this exact message: "I know it's your off day so no rush in response til you're working but my ring finger nail the nail polish is cracking " (Photo attached to review for reference) She replied: "Hi Azelin. It looks like your nail was bended and cracking. Sorry I'm on my day off I can't fix it now." I responded kindly: "It's ok! I know you're off! Literally no rush I didn't even expect a response until Tuesday lol. I hope you're having a relaxing day today!" I later followed up to try and get it fixed, but our schedules didn't align -- so I just let it go. What I didn't tell her is that in the following days, all of my nails began chipping and lifting. But I didn't say anything because I didn't want to complain or make a big deal out of it. I simply decided that I probably wouldn't get French tip again, and I moved on. A couple of weeks later, I reached out to schedule another appointment -- for myself and my sister. I let her know my sister had hard gel and asked if we could do back-to-back manicures. Suddenly, she was "fully booked" for days and then... completely unresponsive. I texted again to schedule something for my birthday, offering multiple dates, and followed up -- still no response. It wasn't until my friend (the one who referred me) got her nails done that I finally got an answer. Apparently, Rebecca told her she was ignoring me on purpose because she felt I was "complaining" about my last set. She also said she didn't want to do my sister's nails because they were hard gel and she assumed I'd be upset about filing -- even though I've only ever objected to unnecessary filing on soft gel, which I had clearly explained to her from the beginning. She never asked or gave me the courtesy of a conversation -- just assumptions and silence. This is wildly unprofessional. Not once did I raise my voice, act entitled, or even ask for a fix. I've praised every set she's done. If a client can't even mention that something chipped -- kindly -- without being iced out, that's not a healthy dynamic. That's walking on eggshells. Rebecca may be talented, but she clearly lacks the communication skills and maturity to handle even the most basic client feedback. Her behavior is passive-aggressive and unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend her to anyone who expects to be treated with respect and transparency. read more

I came in for a last-minute pedicure, was seen very quickly somewhat friendly service until it was 15 minutes before closing when I got booted out before my nails were even dry. They told me to put my shoes on (that it was fine) instead of waiting for my toes to dry because my car was parked across the lot. they did this instead of waiting for my nails to dry to get out 15 mins early for closing. I came here today by the recommendation of a friend who has been going here for quite some time. I had called to make an appointment and James answered the phone. He was polite and made my appointment for today at 10:30. I arrived promptly at 10:28 and someone asked what I wanted. No cheerful greeting. I told them I had a 10:30 appointment with Sammie. They were busy, so I waited. At 11:00, James walked by and I asked him about my appointment. He said Sammie was running late. A little bit later, she was finished with the previous client and I was seated. I mentioned I had my appointment for 1/2 hour earlier, but nothing was said. She started on me right away. She clipped me twice and I said something, but after that, it was good. I remember getting a spa pedicure and they would take their time, put a fragrance in the water to soak your feet ( that wasn't done - just plain water), then she trimmed my toes with sterilized tools and scrubbed them with a little rough sponge on the bottom of my feet. She did a super quick massage of my legs with oil and lotion, painted my toes with 4 coats and I didn't even have time for the polish to dry before she was putting my sandals on for me. $28.00 for the rushed 1/2 hour spa pedicure. The chair did give me a massage, but the place could use a remodel. The chairs are worn. I guess I'm expecting more than what they offer for a spa pedicure. read more

I called the day before to see if this salon did hard gel nails and was told yes. I set up my appointment for the next morning and when I showed up, no one acted like they knew I was supposed to be there. When someone arrived a few minutes later that could do my nails, she told me that they could do acrylic but not gel. I asked why I had been told that and that I would prefer hard gel. I should've just left but I felt entirely put on the spot and reluctantly agreed to accept acrylic. I wish I hadn't. I was cut with the dremel twice, my acrylic is uneven along my cuticle line, and 4 nails are bubbling. My right thumb also never fully got set so rather than being glossy like the rest of the nails, it's dull and feels rough and has things stuck to it. I would say the one star is deserved because my nail tech did spend about an hour on my nails, but I wish they showed that. read more

Came here for the first time and I'm so glad I did! I called ahead of time and asked for prices and the made an appointment. I arrived a little early just in case it was busy but luckily it wasn't. I was immediately sat in a chair and the woman behind the counter began to clean my nails and prep them for James. Once it was 330, I sat in James chair and he asked me what color I wanted and then I decided on pink and glitter on my ring finger. He worked so delicately and patiently! I've never had such a great experience while getting a full set. I felt so safe knowing that all the workers had their face fully covered and that there was a shield between us. I had beautiful acrylic nails done somewhere else and wanted them finally removed. The lady that does acrylics at AC Nail Spa knew I didn't get them done there since I used to go for gel nails and pedicures. She seemed annoyed that I did my nails elsewhere. Anyways I asked for a soak off for my nails and she said "that'll take an hour." So instead she used a fake nail to dig between my acrylic and my actual nail to scrape off the acrylic. Therefore causing me pain, I almost cried, ripped my actual nails in the process just to do her job faster. Then when she did my manicure she gel nails she was impatient and wouldn't let the machine finish with my nails. When I left part of the tips for some were already chipped off or not fully painted. Now my nails are way more fragile than when I've had them soaked off at other places. I was so disappointed and then for being tortured, bad manicure service got charged $45. This was a very not peaceful relaxing experience. 100% will tell all my family and friends to avoid doing their nails there. Last time I got my acrylics done there too they made them so chunky/thick/fat layered and not close to anything what I asked for. They were so ugly and had to keep them on for weeks before I finally took those off. Just twice now bad experiences there. read more

I have been coming to AC Nails for years !!! 5 min drive from home, convenient and all of the nail technicians are great. REBECCA IS MY GIRL FOR GEL MANIS!!! I've never seen perfection like hers before! SAMY IS MY GIRL FOR PEDIS, she does an amazing clean job at making your toes look fresh and shaped! I come here because they treat you like family when you come in. Every employee greets you or at least cracks a smile. They try their best to make conversation with you, and make you feel comfortable. I don't know what I would do without Rebecca!!! She takes her time and takes pride in her work as a nail technician. I have been coming here for about 3 months and I believe this is long enough to know if I'll be a long time client or not. I tried 3 techs before finding Rebecca. Although I think Rebecca wants to do well, her attitude and agitation makes her so unprofessional. She gets agitated if my nails break or chip as if I do this on purpose. She refused to fix two of my broken nails saying that she has to "ask her boss". Her boss decided she was going to put acrylic on it. Connie the owner did an awful job on my broken nail, giving me a lumpy and uneven acrylic coat on my natural nail. I still gave them a second chance and went back. I got my nails done and it chipped exactly 2 days later, peeling like snake skin. I called Rebecca and asked if I can have it fixed. She kept insisting she's booked and couldn't take me. I asked if someone else can just give me a gel nail polish change. She then said she could take me. By the time I went back to have it fixed, a week had passed from my first appointment and now 5 of my nails were severely chipped. Rebecca was agitated and rude about it, blaming my nails for why they were chipped. She kept pointing out that my actual nails are peeling and not the polish. I pointed out how that could be true if it were one or two nails, not all 10 nails every single time and that I've never had this issue at other nail salons. I definitely won't be going back. I am a paying customer and if they don't want the business then I'll go elsewhere. I don't need attitude for things I can't control, like their cheap peeling polishes. read more

The lady doing my toes is extremely rough and had filed away some of my skin. She's now picking my toe nails from not properly reminding them gel polish. She also dug way back in the side of my nails so I'm sure I will be getting ingrown toe nails. Ugh. So disappointing. My nails look like shit, the polish is uneven and bubbled. Edges aren't covered and are pointy, I'm going to the store to buy a nail file to fix them. I will not be returning.
