Just left from a pedicure with Lisa! She was friendly and did a great job on my nails. Since I was a first time customer she gave me the $35 pedicure vs the basic $25 at the basic rate. Took off a ton of dead skin I didn't even know I had! You don't get the fancy massage chair or water jets but what you do get is quality, friendly service, which in my opinion, matters more. My feet look so good! Thanks Lisa!

Don't recommend. I didn't like the way she cut my nail or the nail polish she used. It also wasn't the cleanest she used a bucket to pour water during my pedicure. I even asked for $10 back since I had to go to another nail salon to get it fixed, which cost me $20, but she refused. She was a sweet lady, but I wouldn't go back. I left crying. read more

After reading the wonderful reviews on here, I decided to try this place out. I came here several days ago for a spa pedicure that I made an appointment for. The gas station has changed to an Arco station and you can park on the Arco property if you are going to Lovely Nails. Lovely Nails is located inside a salon, which is called The Beauty Shop. When I arrived, the place looked closed, but soon Lisa opened the doors for me. She took me back to a little area of the beauty shop where she has a manicure table and spa pedicure chair. She was polite and sat me in the chair, but from there it went horribly wrong. She turned the massage on and that was nice, however, when it came to soaking my feet in the spa foot basin, Lisa put a container (it looked like the rectangular ones from a hospital) full of soapy (dish soap?) water and had me soak my feet in THAT. No jets, no relaxation. I could have done this myself at home. I find out that portion of the chair wasn't working. Wonderful. So now, Lisa is working on my feet. The tools she used looked worn, the sand files looked used, and she cut me 4 times. I was so ready to walk out, but my feet were still in the soapy water. She didn't apologize, but kept working on my feet, then going behind me to eat something. Mind you, I am the only client. Couldn't you nibble on something when I'm not there? She did give me a "free" salt scrub, but when it came time to rinse it off, she had to go outside with another pail and get water to rinse my legs and feet off. Now, she's ready to paint my toes after applying hydrogen peroxide to the cuts. She uses a napkin that was lying on the manicure table with a dental flosser on top of it. Do I know if she had used that flosser? NO! She tears the napkin and now places it between my toes. She applied the 4 coats of polish and did a good job with that. She was polite, and yet all of these other things were SO unprofessional. I would never come here again and I hope she can remedy the situation with the chair. How can you charge for a "SPA PEDICURE" when you have no spa? read more

I really enjoy going to the salon because the owner was extremely sweet and I loved the service. She was kind and had a nice conversation with me. Her service was exceptional but was a little tough on the skin. Overall amazing would recommend if you don't want to spend to much for good service! read more

Lisa is AMAZING!!! She actually takes pride in her work. She goes the extra mile to ensure you're happy with her work and is very reasonably priced. I came to her for the first time with a broken nail in the middle of my thumb and she saved me from having only half a nail on my thumb. I'm so thankful I found her on Yelp because I won't have to go to anymore dirty salons that all they care about is getting as many customers in an out the door every day. She's tucked away inside a super cute beauty salon and works alone so appointments are better unless you don't mind waiting but I'm sure once you come,you too will become a regular. read more

This place is a hidden gem! Lisa is amazing. She's so patient and willing to go the extra mile to make your nails perfect. The shop is tucked into the Valero gas station parking lot-The sign doesn't say Lovely Nails but you're in the right spot! Thank you Lisa for making my hands beautiful. I haven't had my nails done in a couple years but needed them done for an event and wanted to find someplace local. Lisa is GREAT and prices are reasonable! (That's always a plus) First off, the sign says "The Beauty Shop". I drove by it the first time! The location is tucked away beside a Valero gas station. So be sure to go by the address and not the signage. Lisa said that she kept her old business name when she moved to the new location so her previous customers could still find her. Lisa is normally closed on Sundays but she opened up her shop inside The Beauty Shop salon just for my family of 5. She worked on a set of acrylic nails, two manicures, two pedicures and one manicure with buff in 3 hours all by herself. She was very accommodating and multi-tasked so that we didn't have to wait too long. We are very pleased with her work and her prices were reasonable. Thank you Lisa. I have been going to Lovely Nails for probably 15 years now. I really should have written a review a long time ago. But better late than never! I have been going to Lisa monthly to get my nails done so my nails are always painted and polished. I love Lisa - She talks alot! I usually get a full set and a pedi. Sometimes I just go in for a quick fill and color change because I love changing up the color based on the season or my mood. She told me everything she was doing and how thick I liked my acrylic nails, which I have never been asked anywhere else, and left my nails to the size I actually wanted. She then says okay, soaks my feet for less then 1min and proceeds to cut my nails, this lady clipped my toe nail that had acrylic without putting any acetone or further soaking it... my toe nail then breaks almost half way and starts to hurt like hell, I immediately let her know to which she responds "no worry, I do it for you With acrylic" with attitude as I was upset and in pain I tell her "I wanted the acrylic removed not filled or for you to redo it with acrylic" she ignored me and proceeds to do the other big toe nails and does the same thing! Once again I ask "why would you do that without soaking it in acetone first" now she wants to put acetone after the fact, as she's putting it obviously it starts to burn and I let her know as I pull my foot a lil. Of course she doesn't care continues then tells me "I fix both nails for $10" at which point I was upset and didn't want to be rude so I didn't say much beside "it burns and this is not what I wanted" her not caring shortly after continues to trim the nail with 2 different clippers.. then remaining toe nails she did not clip what so ever instead she filed, mind you nor did she clean under the nails. For the remaining of the service it's burning/painful and I'm letting her know yet I'm being ignored. When she proceeds to put on the polish it's running everywhere and she take forever. Before leaving I did tell her the acrylic doesn't feel right, and obviously she did not care. I paid and left, and yes I did not tip! Today 10/11/25 I call with the intention of going in and having them remove everything as it's been hurting all night. When they answer I ask to speak with the manager, the person who answers asks "why, what do I need" I simple said "I need to speak with her, I went last night and the service wasn't good, my number is..." to which I'm interrupted by her saying "I have your number, who are you, what do you want" I simply respond with "can you please have her call me back" the lady says "okay" I then asked "when can she call or when will she be in" she then says "I don't know" I say "okay what's her name" "she says "my name Lindsay" I said "okay, but what about the manager, I can come in when's she in or I can hold on the line for you to contact her and ask when she can reach out to me or will be in" she says "no" and starts to go off on me. I again ask for the managers name and she says "I am the manager, you want to keep secret from me I keep secret from you, you can make a scam" I'm like "what?!?!? If your the manager why are you denying to speak with me, it's in regards to a service from last night that I'm not happy with nor was it healthy" this lady is not listening nor. So I'll be going in! Pics posted will show the big toe nails being cut wrong, look at the other toe nails and see how they are long enough for her to have done a good job on my other toes oh and how on my 2nd toe of my left foot she added acrylic to another split toe nail without consulting or even asking if I wanted that part trimmed .

I have patronized Emil's Salon for several years, and while I have received some excellent nail…read moreservices here, I can no longer overlook the consistently poor customer service demonstrated by members of the salon's ownership and management. Elle, my current nail technician, is wonderful. She is kind, professional, gracious, and genuinely invested in giving her clients a positive experience. Unfortunately, the atmosphere created by the salon's owners frequently overshadows the quality of her work. During my most recent visit, a member of the owner's family yelled across the salon to ask how I would be paying. When I calmly explained that I did not appreciate being addressed across the room and found it unprofessional, she responded, "You're just so sensitive." I later attempted to give her a respectfully written note explaining that I did not want an argument and simply wanted to have a pleasant experience when receiving services. She repeatedly said, "Nope, I don't want to read your note," and walked away. This was not an isolated misunderstanding. It was the final incident in a pattern of dismissive and discourteous interactions I have experienced from members of the family operating the salon. Clients should be able to raise a reasonable concern without being embarrassed publicly, personally insulted, or denied even the basic courtesy of being heard. After years of patronage, I have decided that neither my relatives nor I will return. I deeply regret leaving Elle, whose service I would rate five stars, but excellent technical work cannot compensate for an environment in which customers are treated disrespectfully. A salon experience should include both quality service and basic professionalism. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience at Emil's.
