Other companies sent sales people who obviously did not know what they were talking about when I test their knowledge by asking them questions I knew the answers too. I don't leave reviews often for things but in this case, the excellence of this company could not go without recognition. This is a locally owned company which is a huge plus for me because I love to support local business. Scott did the installation and my parents and I were mesmerized by how clean it was. We immediately noticed the change in the water and are very happy. It doesn't stop there. We are getting epoxy installed in the garage and Scott told me not to worry, they would come disconnect everything, put it to the side for the installation and then connect it back after. When I logged on here, I saw that there were some poor reviews which peaked my curiosity. I looked at them and I can honestly tell you that these people don't know the kind of system they have. They obviously did not listen because everything was explained meticulously. They are comparing this system to systems that are subpar. Also complaints about spending a few extra dollars for service and filters. If your health and well being is not important for you to spend a little extra money and you would rather spend that money on a 10 dollar Starbuck coffee filled with diabetes then you are a lost cause. I was replacing a rented Culligan whole house water softener and RO system under sink with a new…read moresystem I purchased. I got quotes from at least 5 different plumbing companies for installation, some with quotes as high as $2500. Only two of the five bothered to come out to look at the system, Powerhouse Plumbing was one of those companies. I had sent photos of everything and explained what I wanted done. Christian gave me a quote online, and he came out the next day to physically look at everything himself, the new system was still on order so he wasn't able to see what it looked like other than online, and the old culligan system was still installed so he wasn't sure what they would take out in terms of pipes and fittings. We scheduled a date a few weeks out when the old system would be uninstalled by Culligan, and the new one could be installed. Christian communicated professionally and always kept me aware of schedules, he was on time, and always professional in his work. A lot of work had to be done to re-run some piping to include a pre-filter that came with the new system. Christian never charged me extra labor, only the parts, he stuck to his original quote even though a few things he had to go back to the supplier for additional parts that could not have been foreseen. It is hard to find a great, honest, reliable plumber and one that will give you an honest fair price for the work. Christian is just that! We will use him again at our home, and we plan to use him for our rental properties in the future! If you want it done right, and you want a fair price, don't look any further. One of the pictures is what was left after the old system was removed, and the other was the final installation of the new system. Update: I forgot to add he also replace my Water Pressure Valve for me!
