The BIGGEST scam that I've ever come across. Mind you I know nothing about how the well system works. So I'm trusting this company to provide me with all the information I need to fix my water issues. I called them out to check out the problem $150. They said they need to look deeper into the pump, the pump that they installed for me for 5k about a year ago, and that's $250 an hour. They told us no water and that they needed to dig deeper $30-$50k. That's too much for us so we said no we can't. So I asked them to put our pump back and she said if we put it back how are you going to get the water in the house? That pump doesn't work. What?!?!? Now you tell me? After charging me $250 an hour to get the other pump out. Ok, Another 2k because we need water going in the house. After that's done I asked them about putting our pump back. Another $250 an hour. What?!?! Why are all these charges not mentioned in the beginning?!? Why are you telling me this after the fact?!? So now our pump is just sitting in their warehouse because we have to pay them to put our pump back. After everything we had no choice but to pay but when I called her to explain the situation, and maybe get a discount on it, she didn't even give me a chance to talk. She said she was THE OWNER, she doesn't agree with me, told me to come get my pump, and hung up on me. Worst customer service ever!!! They'll get you for all your money and try to charge you for every little thing. So be aware before you decide to go with this company. I know times is hard but we're supposed to be helping each other out not scam each other. I don't expect anything for free. I know we all work hard for our money. If she wasn't too busy talking over me and cutting me off and hanging up on me. She would understand that all I wanted was for her to understand that she didn't disclosed all the fees and charges after the first time they went out to assess the problem. Scam! read more

My well stopped working and I wasn't sure why. Coincidently, my main breaker tripped as well a few days earlier. I got home from work, my main well pump breaker in the house breaker box was tripped. Additionally the subpanel breaker that leads to the control box for the well waz also tripped. I turned on the main well pump breaker and then tried to turn on the 30 amp sub-panel breaker next to the pressure tank. Every time I would flip the breaker up it would pop back down. Chris and David from Heritage Well Service came to the rescue! Chris checked the lines with his voltmeter and found that there was a short In the lines that lead from the sub-panel to the control box for the well. He disconnected the old electrical wires and ran new electrical wires above the ground so that we could have water. In less than 2 hours, Chris diagnosed the problem and did a repair so that we had water the same day! I was very glad that it was not the pump! I subsequently dug out the electrical conduit from the old wires that were shorting out; and, about 2' away from the sub panel, I found that the conduit was broken and separated! It's stretched the electrical wires and caused them to fray. See the attached photo. The conduit was very thin and was not Schedule-40. read more

I am very impressed with this company. In this day when customer service seems to be a thing of the past this company gave me great service. I called to get my large water storage tank repaired. They were out the next day. Since they needed different parts to repair it they needed to come back. I was concerned I may never hear from them again or may be weeks. Not the case. Jen the office manager was awesome. She returned phone calls and emails immediately. She had a detailed estimate to me within 24 hours. And once I paid a deposit they booked the repair job for the next week. David and Cole were the repair guys for the first visit. Second one Hunter was with David. All were here exactly at the time I was told. They all were very professional and pleasant. David and Hunter worked quickly and efficiently and repaired the problem and it worked perfectly. Requested well test for selling my property. The well produced 6.5gpm. Not great but not bad either. They report highlighted the short comings and not the positives of the well. Heritage did me a disservice in how they presented my well data. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Recently, I contacted Heritage Well Service to schedule a check on my water system. As I expected from previous experience, I was greeted with knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous staff on the phone. I received a quick call back to schedule the appointment and also a request to send several pictures of the system layout. To my surprise, the next day I received an update on the time frame for the technician's arrival time. I also learned that at the morning staff meeting, my appointment was reviewed, including the pictures, so that possible scenarios could be brainstormed. This was so that the potential needed parts would be on the truck. I have used Heritage in the past, so service records were reviewed. Eric, the owner recognized my system from the pictures. Really impressive to learn how the team prepares in advance. The technicians, there were two, David and Mike, arrived within a couple of minutes of the appointment. Really great to have an appointment time respected. Mike and David got right to it checking out al the equipment. They were focused and truly knowledgeable about every piece in my system. They answered my questions, informed me of their recommendations. I did need a piece of equipment replaced. They did the work quickly. Totally cleaned up the work site. t $150 an hour, I decided to fix it myself. I discovered that a very cheap ball float valve had been used. I upgraded to a higher quality unit from the local hardware store which was only a little more and haven't had a problem since(going on 2 years). Shortly after, the in ground pump quit(after only one year at light duty.) This company did not take responsibility for installing a sub-standard pump and although the pump itself was under warranty, the labor(expensive) to swap it out wasn't. Why would I reinstall an obviously terrible pump???? Well, I wasn't about to let this company touch my equipment any more and chose to go with their competitor and they did an excellent job. I waited a year to write this so i could tell all that it is still working great. read more

I have some background in working directly on water wells and with various drilling companies so I believe I scrutinize the information given and work done from a different perspective than an average retail customer. And from that perspective I can state that the owners, Eric & Megan, as well as every one of their staff I worked with could not have been more helpful and responsive. My well was drilled in an area where you hope for 5 to 15 gpm flow rate with some wells as low as 2 to 3 gpm and only seasonal production. Once they had reached our originally contracted depth the drilling logs showed sufficient sign to assume we had met expectations and probably had a 10 to 15 gpm well. However - based on their experience with a well they had just completed a half mile from mine they gave me the info and option to extend another 60' for the possibility of a 75 to 100 gpm well. We went for it and got exactly that. My overall experience with Heritage was above and beyond what I could have hoped or imagined. Highly recommend. read more

She was very responsive via email for a quote and had guys to my house within 2 hours. From Anza to Menifee, I'd say that's pretty good. Chris and Christopher were the technicians to replace my booster. They were a pleasure to be around and didn't mind me watching to learn a little about my well. I moved to California several years ago and decided to go with a private well recently. They say they guarantee their work within a year, but yet refuse to come out and fix my problem that failed within 6 months! Terrible customer service and very rude! We called them for a change in our water pressure. They responded and put a new pressure switch, check valve, and insulation for $359. Shortly after black flakes, possibly sediment, flowed from sinks, toilets, shower, etc. and clogged them all. We called back for a solution several times and had an office worker attempt to diagnose the problem over the phone. She later stated the initial work-crew saw the black flakes during their visit, however, they didn't inform us. We made several calls to them for suggestions, solutions (anything to help), but just kept getting possible diagnosis from the office worker. Someone coming out and physically checking would have been the right thing to do. When we finally asked for someone to come back and physically check, we were advised it would be another service call/charge. Finally, a water filter was suggested (of course over the phone) at an estimate of $982. There was no guarantee this would fix the problem. At one point we considered the filter and asked if we could split the payment in two. We were told they'd call back in 20 minutes. NO RETURN CALL. Looked the filter up and saw it cost from $100-$150 roughly. Safe yourself the heartache.. YOUTUBE will saw you hundreds. Suggestion: treat your customers like family! You cant go wrong!
