It was so easy and quick to request quotes and schedule a few free in-person estimates. Yelp kept everything organized in a "entire exterior painting" project so I could easily access contact info, see who had responded, compare, etc. I also requested ROC numbers to make sure the companies were legit. Ryley, sales guy, from Valor was quick to respond and offered to schedule an in-person estimate. Ryley emailed over a detailed and clear estimate shortly. The estimate was a good price and comparable to one other I had received but Ryley explained their process throughly and I felt confident about the quality and attention to detail. It took months for my HOA to approve the job (even though they requested it and we were using approved colors *Eye roll*). But the emailed quote was still valid and I was able to easily pay the deposit online and scheudle start date for just a couple weeks later! Carlos and Omar completed our job and did a spectacular job on both the prep and painting. Carlos was an excellent communicator and texted me as needed to ask questions, confirm things, etc. They kept me well informed and worked hard. Also super friendly nice guys. At the end of the job I was able to review the work and call out a few areas I wanted touched up, Carlos was happy to accommodate. Our job included stucco repair work, two doors, and garage door. We hired Alex, Owner of ABN Painting to restore and re-paint our cool deck around our pool. Alex…read moreset up an appointment to come to my home and provide a detailed free estimate about a month before the re-surfacing was scheduled. Alex was punctual, explained in great detail the prep and work needed which included sealing several cracks on our deck over years of wear and tear, and he provided a very detailed estimate on-site from his car and we set up an appointment for end of March. Alex sent me a text message on Sunday, March 27th to let me know the weather forecast predicted heavy winds and rain on Monday and on Tuesday as well. I had also viewed the 10 day forecast and I was going to contact Alex to postpone the painting. However, he was very organized and we re-scheduled the job for Wednesday, March 30th. He was prompt and on time Wednesday and worked all day repairing cracks and applied the first coat of paint. I could already tell it was looking much better. He came back this morning on time and he applied a second coat of paint. He finished at around 10:30 am and I thanked him for an amazing job well done. Alex is very meticulous and takes great care of the cleanup and he's a very skilled and courteous painter. I highly recommend him for painting!
