    A. Casola has been around for as long as I can remember. My friend and I wanted to find a place to take her children for some fall fun and after doing some research, we decided to go to A. Casola. We ended up doing the petting zoo and the hayride. I'm assuming that this is due to COVID but the petting zoo didn't allow for petting. You basically just walked along and got to see some of the farm animals. Some of the chickens, ducks, and turkeys were roaming free which was cool. The hayride was okay as well. At the end, they drop you off at the pumpkin patch so you can pick pumpkins if you choose. One thing that I liked is that they had a bit of a carnival/fair setup and they were selling some of the foods that we all love to eat at the fair. Funnel cake anyone? On the other hand, I found some of the things to be a bit overpriced. And on a Saturday afternoon, the place was a little too packed for my comfort. I didn't feel like there was much in place as far as protecting us from COVID and people certainly weren't socially distancing. So my recommendation is to arrive early and wear your mask if you go.

This was possibly the worst pumpkin patch I've been to. To start- it was so overcrowded it was almost impossible to find the ticket booth, we had to ask other customers where the booth was. Once in line we waited 25 minutes to pay 65$ total for 3 activities. We did a pony ride 10$ ea ticket, the petting zoo 8$ per person, and the hay ride 10$ per person. And then paid 3$ extra for little 2oz ramekins of feed for the animals. The petting zoo was a lousy excuse as a petting zoo, they should advertise it as an animal showcase since all the animals were caged and unable to be pet. The animals that were available to pet were 3 goats, 2 cows, and a bunch of roosters ducks and a turkey that were terrified and running away from the children allowed to torment them. So 27$ for a 5minute walk through of caged animals and angry birds. And almost all the animals looked sickly. Then the pony ride we waited in line for about 20 minutes for a 45 second ride. not even a full lap around the pen. 10$ for that... Then my daughter was ready to try some food so we made our way to the indescribably long line that we waited 35 minutes in for 72$ worth of food. I audibly gasped at the prices of freezer food. the nachos had the tiniest squirt of cheese, as well as the chili cheese fries, the canned soda was 5$ea, and 2 plain cheeseburgers were 10$each... not terrible tasting but terribly priced seeing as their pulling it from the freezer not fresh grilling a burger to make it worth 10$. And on top of that, the cashier woman was disgustingly rude to us. Then finally, we went over to the hayride, where we were rudely pointed to the tractor and had to pick one of 3 carts to sit on (all were full) so we got on the least crowded one and no one would scoot down to let us on. I asked loudly if everyone could scoot over a bit for my daughter to be able to sit. The ride was underwhelming with barely anything to look at but trash (literal trash) it was a silent ride of unimpressed guests. in conclusion we spend over 100$ to leave regretting it and wishing we picked somewhere else to enjoy.

I don't know why so many people are knocking this place. I went this past weekend with a large group of families to pumpkin pick and it was cute. The kids enjoyed the petting zoo (which had little goats, rabbits, pigs, a cow, ducks, etc.) The hayride was fun. There were tons of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, delicious pies to purchase and a cute store with seasonal decorations. I am not sure what else people are looking for? We went at 10:30 am on a Sunday morning and it was not that crowded. I personally did not do the corn maze but my friends took their kids and they loved it.

Extremely well organized, clean and very healthy looking plants. Rows and rows of different vegetable plants which were all labeled very clearly. They also had a lot of other types of gorgeous plants. Our goal when we came here was to decide what types of vegetables we wanted to grow this year. I never planted anything before but with any project there is planning involved. The probability of over buying is very high. We picked out different types of tomato plants, cucumber, zucchini, and pepper plants. We also bought some fresh herbs, basil, cilantro, mint, and parsly plants. Their prices to me seem very reasonable. I love being able to just stroll around seeing all the different types of flowers that they offer. It was really a fun experience spending a couple of hours here.

Seems like a cool place to take the kids, if I had kids, but went with family to pick pumpkins. We were here for the important stuff. Wine tasting and pies.

I really love supporting our small local businesses, and this one is easily on the top of the list for fall/autumn in New Jersey. Why? It's huge, and yet it still feels like a small Mom and Pop shop, filled with nothing but friendly faces. Pumpkins? Check. Halloween decorations? Check check. Food? Oh my goodness is there food (and lots of it) check check check! The specifics: The pumpkin selection was HUGE. All of the pumpkins were good quality, making the selection process difficult but only for the fact that there were so many good options that it was hard to pick just one! Food ranges from cider donuts (cinnamon was delish) along with real hearty meals and an entire fried section (fried oreos, anyone?). We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and it was empty, and some of the food stands didn't look like they were open. I would definitely recommend arrive a bit earlier to enjoy all of the goodness. The staff members that we interacted with were amazing, friendly, and super helpful. They also had a slew of other things that we didn't partake in, like wine tasting (arrived too late) and fun festivities or the whole family that we opted to skip like hay rides.

We took our 9 year old niece to the farm today for the hay ride and had a good time. It was very crowded and the lines were long so we ended up leaving earlier than we had planned, but we still had a good time. We bought some fresh donuts and pie, which were delicious. The hay ride was nice and our niece enjoyed it. They have lots of other activities including a haunted hay ride, haunted house, pumpkin picking, and Halloween store. They also sell local wine and have free wine tastings, which was a nice end to our day. We bought some to take home.

Very dirty , no toilet paper

Nice place , a bit over price no bundles etc. food is stadium price. The temporary toilets on the site were terrible , disgusting and no toilet paper. They should use a reputable company next time. Overall nice place but way over priced

I asked to use the restroom and I was told that it was out of order. I asked the only cashier that was there, a mid-aged woman, what do employees do when they need to use the restroom? Her response was That they use the bathroom when they get home or otherwise they use public restrooms in some park across the way! When I told her that this was a true emergency she told me that there was a Porto potty on the premises and gave me directions to get there....When I finally find the Porto potty it was blocked off by closed gate! So I quickly pick up a few items and rushed to the cash register, And here's the real kicker to the story.... i'm the only one waiting on line and while this woman knows that I'm having a bathroom crisis she proceeds to speak to one of the gardeners and has me waiting for about another five minutes then takes her time strolling back to the register!!!!! I told her that I was so appalled by the treatment that I was getting and that I would write about it on Yelp! So she tried to be nice to me and said that I could use the bathroom on the premises but I would have to mop up any kind of mess! Then she proceeded to tell me, That due to the COVID, They really do not want customers using their restrooms due to fear of spreading the virus! Well needless to say I would have spent more time in the garden centre and spent much more money there providing that I was not in such a hurry to find a restroom! I've been a customer For a very long time and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars in this place sorry to say I will not be going back!
