I had this company clean my carpets over 20 years ago. I thought they'd say to burn my carpets, lol, because they're so old but they came in and did an incredible job. You would think my carpets were brand new after owning them for 26 years. The house smells fresh and clean. Hayden(sp) did incredible and we are so grateful. Mr. Francis handled our intake and was wonderful, helpful and so informative. We are so happy that we made the decision to clean the carpets instead of ripping them out and replacing. I know we'll probably get another good 4-5 years out of these carpets before we have to make the decision again. Thank you A clean pro for making us extremely happy with the decision to clean the carpet carpets, for having affordable pricing, especially in an economy as rough as it is today. The pictures I'm posting do not reflect how wonderful they actually look in person. I should have taken before photos, so the true comparison could be compared. They were very spotty and dark since we do have pets that have snuck into the bedrooms and done their little things. You would never know at this point . Not impressed. I get my 7 year old carpets cleaned every year. I was lured in by their 12 step cleaning process and decided to give them a try. The 12 step process aractually processes that were combined which kinda is deceiving. I wasn't even offered for my carpets to be groomed which is also considered a step. I was also over charged by $5 because the tech didn't do the math right. I didn't realize until my check was written and I was given the receipt. I was told the price, and wrote the check. It's $5 bucks, it's not going to break me, but it is first impressions. The customer service was great friendly all around from scheduling to the tech to the call back... 5 stars for that. My problem was with the outcome. As the carpets were drying, wiping my hand across to check for dryness, I was getting sticky palms. If I walked on the carpets with my bare feet, my feet were sticky on the bottoms. I knew this meant soap residue. My carpets were dry by morning but they were crunchy and not soft like they usually are. I could hear my cat walking on the carpet as I laid in bed. They weren't super bad, but bad enough for me to call back for their " satisfaction guarantee". I was told my residue was because I had done spot cleaning which was causing the stickiness. True, I have spot cleaned which I have done every year for spills, pets, and even vomit. This stickiness has never been a problem. Also not every room in my house were spot treated by me, but every room was crunchy and sticky. I told them this and they said will come back and fix it. They came back very quickly and re did the house but just rinsed it which was what I wanted. The carpets did improve, but they are not consistent. Some areas are soft and some areas are still stiff and crunchy and slightly sticky. I am afraid my carpets are going to get dirty really fast, and am worried about the future integrity. I really regret not using the company from last year, they were way cheaper and they cleaned them beautifully Lesson learned, the grass isn't greener. 3 stars just because they were nice and they did try to fix. Wow, I gotta give an update. I was contacted twice by A Clean Pro to follow up with my re clean. Jackie took down all the notes and passed it on to the owner. Jim. He was super apologetic and wanted to make things right. He assured me that the service I received wasn't the norm and he wanted to get to the bottom of it. That's some great customer service and I definitely appreciate that. Jim offered to come back himself and re clean my carpets. I really didn't want to, but the fact that he made such an effort to win me back impressed me so much I'm going to allow him to come back. I haven't rescheduled just yet but plan on doing so. He also told me he would refund my overcharge and within two days I received a check for 10x the amount of the mistake, plus a Starbucks gift card. Very kind and generous and I have to say I am SUPER impressed. Any company that cares about customer satisfaction is a company I want to do business with, Thank you! read more

He explained the procedures step by step. The price he quoted me never changed. ONSITE SERVICE The cleaning technician came, set up, explained the procedure, and did the work. Very pleased with the carpet cleaning service A Clean Pro provided. Technician (Hayden) was on time and professional. He walked each room and explained in detail what steps needed to be done to get the best results for cleaning each area. It only took a total of about 2 hours to clean the carpets in my living room and 4 bedrooms. The dry time was reasonably fast and he provided slip-on shoe covers to walk on the carpet while we waited for it to dry. Price was reasonable and they offered pet enzymes and odor treatments for a small xtra fee for those who have fur babies(well worth it). I will definitely use their service again. She answered all my questions and an appointment was scheduled within 2 days. The technician, Jesus, called when he was on his way and arrived promptly. We went through the house and I pointed out that I have three cats and there were some stains and odor issues on a pretty old and dirty carpet. Mybcarpet is almost 20 years old and hadn't been cleaned since 2009 yet it came out looking really, really good. Of course they couldn't do anything about the wear in high traffic areas but he got rid of all the stains and dirt. The young man they sent was polite, efficient and explained every thing well. The previous reviews are accurate. Josh arrived on time and did a great job with an old carpet in an older 1300 sq. ft. 4bdrm ranch home. The reason they are getting three stars and not five is thus: the phone quote and final price. The phone quote is somewhat of a gimmick to hook you, for it is not binding. We were quoted 240 for the job over the phone and told it may go up or down depending on the onsite inspection, and most likely it would go down. When asked for someone to come out to confirm they declined (they are located 1.3 miles from this house). Had I made the call I would have passed right there. Upon arrival and inspection, our price went up a 100 bucks. Pretty high. Even with the 10% discount for an empty house it was still 315 in the end. Still on the high side. The reasons being a very small dining nook - which is part of an equally small living room and tiled front entry was now considered an extra room. In addition, like most homes, this room was by far in the worst shape and was told it would take more work and chemicals to do the job, etc. Both smacked of padding the bill. Ive seen much worse, including my own that have come out fine with a much less powerful machine. The original quote was more accurate and acceptable , but since it'd been over a week since the initial call and we were under a time crunch, we chose to bite the bullet. Again, great job and fine attitude, but unless they were willing to commit to the phone quote provided or come onsite to quote initially I would not hire them again. read more

Stuart from A Clean Pro was very professional and courteous. I saw they didn't have a lot of Yelp reviews but from the website that they had been in business for a long time (1988). Since Yelp reviews can easily be faked, I figured longevity was a good sign, as well as their commitment to being knowledgeable about carpet cleaning. I was working on a tight schedule and called late afternoon needing the carpet cleaning the next day. Stuart was very helpful and said no problem. Later he called back to see if we could reschedule to earlier in the morning, but assured me they would be able to get someone out to the house to clean at the original appointment. My folks thought they would clean the carpet themselves with one of those carpet cleaners you rent, but the carpets were so old. The technician who came out told them there was a lot of dirt under the carpet, that the fibres were very long, and at best the carpet would last another 4 years. Hope to replace the carpet long before then, but we appreciated the educated assessment of the carpets. Afterwards, my folks said the house felt very clean and were very happy with the results.
