Chris was booked the week we called for an appointment. He told us to call back at the beginning of the following week to schedule a carpet cleaning. He was very communicative and knowledgeable over the phone. He does excellent work and explained and showed us how all the equipment worked. He did a walk through and checked for stains and general condition of the carpet. Chris takes his time and doesn't try to 'upsell' with products or services that we didn't need (like Scotchguard). My Wife and I have our carpets cleaned every 6 months and in the past other companies did a OK job. We were told about Oster's Carpet Cleaning, so I gave Chris a call. He first checked area with a black light to see dogs stains and then sprayed the three rooms and let it set. His machine is not like the typical wand that sucks up dirty water, but a orbital machine that rotates, cleans with 235 degree water and sucks up as it goes. The price was right and the carpets have never looked better. We were thinking of replacing the carpeting since it is 18 years old but it looks so good i think we can get a few more years out of it. so our carpet did not look bad at least I thought it did not. the darker area that I am pointing at is before he cleaned that section the area above it had been cleaned. crazy difference, and it still needs to dry. Found Osters via social media and glad I did! I had 2 rooms and a hallway done along with a protector add-on. Chris and his crew were on time and extremely professional! For personal reasons I decided to move my furniture for them earlier in the day so they came in, assessed the carpet and explained what I may or may not need when it came to cleaning, deodorizing, and protecting. After the initial assessment they immediately went to work! Pre-sprayed, agitated, steam cleaned, protected and raked. They were able to get the stains I had that I wasn't able to remove with household cleaners. Chris recommended I protected the carpet, due to the fact that I have two dogs, and 2 cats. So I agreed and got it for a small additional price. Not sure how well the protection spray actually works, it's been 5 days since my carpets have been cleaned and one of my dogs threw up today. The mess was immediately cleaned but unfortunately there is a small stain. Other than the protectant not doing much for animal vomit, my carpets turned out AMAZING! Great work and great service! We had never cleaned our tile (we've owned the house 14 years) and it has been 6+ years since we cleaned our carpets professionally. Chris came out and cleaned three rooms and two hallways worth of carpet and kitchen/dining area of tile. It looked great but we had one spot come up in the carpet from water from the tile cleaning. I also had the problem that I had given my husband specific directions of what I wanted moved. Chris will help move furniture but isn't going start moving things around without your direction. And my husband never moved or said anything about moving things. So I also had a bunch of smaller areas that were still dirty at no fault of Chris. I contacted him about the spot from the tile cleaning and a couple spots on the grout that didn't come out as clean as the rest of the area. He came back the next day when I could be home and cleaned the spots and the areas that were missed because my husband didn't move things. He saw some spots that were coming back because my carpets were so dirty to begin with so he ended up re-doing the hallway, living room, and a big portion of the kitchen/dining area. He wouldn't accept any more money for it even though the vast majority of the re-do was no fault of his own. I will definitely be calling him again for a few other tiled rooms and for more frequent carpet cleaning! read more
