So impressed!! My now husband was a procrastinator when it came to getting his wedding suit altered. And with the wedding approaching, his friend suggested going to A+ clothing. She has gotten a lot of different pants hemmed and altered. I think they went in so their suits and it was ready 2 weeks later. Which is a great turn around for 3 suits, including my husbands and his groomsman. Since it was for a wedding, the head seamstress made sure everything looked right. My husbands pants were a little off so she said she will adjust those. And one of the groomsman suit jacket needed a little adjustment. She had it ready for us in time for the wedding. I think we picked up the suits the week of the wedding. But everything was great. I definitely recommend this place! They were super friendly and their prices were reasonable too!! Went in to pick up my bridesmaids dress and tried it on in store. It was way too long and my mom pointed out chalk marks on the bottom of the dress. They told me that they must have forgotten to hem the bottom. They said they would have it ready in a couple of days. Good thing I didn't need it quickly because I already waited 4 weeks. They did not offer a refund or credit towards at least steaming the dress for me. Very dissatisfied. read more

Dropped off 2 suits for alterations two weeks ago, went in today, Saturday the 15th at 2 PM (yes I was 3 hours early) the ticket had said 5pm but had traveled down from Bailey (40 miles) was informed that the suits were not ready yet and would not be ready until 5 PM, shopped with my wife and children in the mall until four stopped by the shop at 4:15 And was told that they only had one pair of the pants done. Informed them that I was leaving town and would return the first week in July. The folks there are nice enough however I have doubts that they're able to complete their work in a timely manner or at least in the timeline that they give! Be prepared and allow yourself plenty of time when handing off alterations here!! So just a follow up, 3 days later and my alterations are still not done! I've moved my rating down to one star is they cannot hold themselves to any timetable that they quote!! Would not recommend this place at all!! read more

April 2021 I love this clothing repair shop! They altered dresses for my daughter's wedding attendants and did a beautiful job in a very timely fashion. They also charged much less than the bridal shop's price. I have had A+ do repairs, including hems, buttons, and snap replacements. They are pleasant and friendly with a focus on customer satisfaction. They always do a great job with quick turn around time and at a very fair price. I highly recommend them! read more

I think it is a very smart idea that this alterations place has placed itself inside of a busy mall. It seems like a lot of people buy something from a store that doesn't fit them and then goes straight to the alteration place to make it fit... I even did that! This place accepts cash or check only which is pretty annoying. I understand if you say "Under $10 cash only" but everything cash only? Not cool. I bought a pair of dress pants and needed the waist taken in ($15) and the legs hemmed ($8) for a total of $25 with tax. I thought the hemming was a great deal but that the waist is overpriced. But anyway, they did a great job with my pants. They fit great! There's a sign outside of the door that they display all the time that is misleading. It's a picture of wide legged jeans turning into skinny jeans and then above it, it says jean hem $7. Their advertisement makes it look like you can get wide legged jeans altered into skinny jeans for only $7 but that's not the case. They are saying the Jean hem is $7 and then they don't list the skinny jean transformation price which I later found out was $13. I don't like the misleading advertisement! read more

This place is awesome. They are extremely friendly, welcoming and even funny. I came in to get a second quote on getting a zipper repaired on a leather vest. The first place I had taken it to wanted to charge me $40 and A+ quoted me $15. By the time my Boyfriend and I walked around the mall it was completely done and ready to go, even on Saturday during Memorial day weekend. I have taken them a bridesmaid dress, curtains, numerous pairs of pants to shorten, etc. They have done an excellent job each time. It is nice to know I can count on them with my various needs. I needed an alteration on my bridesmaid dress on a Monday night. I went in at 7:35pm thinking they'd tell me it'd be a few days before I could get it back. It took 10 seconds to pin in the sides and less than 20 minutes to do the actual alteration. I got my dress back at 8pm. I was super grateful and the dress fit amazingly. Big time disappointment as I brought an evening dress that needed to be shortened, nothing crazy you would think. Well, first of all the dress wasn't ready on time and they didn't bother giving me a call but rather had me drive all the way for nothing. It still wasn't ready the day after and I had to wander around the mall for 30 minutes while they were altering the dress. All this for 30 min of work? No need to say the job was poorly done and I had to bring the dress back after the event because the stitches didn't last. They redid the job free of charge and this time it looks good. I feel like I wasted so much time and patience with poor customer service and little care given. read more

I drove 2 1/2 hours to bring my clothes to this place. Gave items to Sally, they told me I had to pay cash in advance before the work was even done, they would not take a credit card or check and sent me to an ATM. They were supposed to sew about 4 small holes in a pair of track pants and sew fabric together and 2 small patches on a pair of jeans. I paid for the work and gave them postage and was told that it would be done by the end of the day and she would mail it to me. Two weeks later I called and asked if they had sent out my clothes, I was told no and they would have Sally call me. She called and left a message saying she would refund the money I paid as well as the postage and would send out that day. A week later I still hadn't received the clothes. I called again and was told clothes were still there, had not been repaired and Sally was out of town on vacation, that she would call me in 2 days. That call never came so I called again and was told that Sally was not in, would be there shortly and would call me. That call never came. I called again, was told by a man that they would repair and send in the mail the next day. A few days later the package arrived. The track pants were fine but the jeans had these 2 huge patches that were larger than a business envelope. One of the patches had fabric that was bunched up so being next to skin it was rippled. There was between 2 - 3" of extra material around both patches that was not sewn down. It was a horrible job! Someone sewing with their feet could have done a better job. Seriously. I had to throw my favorite pair of $150 jeans away because the sewing job was so bad that 2 other seamstresses said they could not fix what A+ did. read more

Pathetic place run by scammers. They took the money and did everything bad with my dress and when I requested to get it fixed simply refused. She (employee) said it's not our stitch and the fact is that's the only alteration place I had ever been to and even paid for her services. Now I understand why they take cash only so, such issues can be suppressed with lack of evidences. I am suspicious if she is even paying her taxes properly as they take cash only and might be cooking books ( what to expect from such scammers). Never going back there. read more
