This is likely the best laundromat I've ever been to. I don't come here all that often as I have a nice washer and dryer in my home. When I need to do king size comforters, this is where I do them. I find the building and machines to be clean, well maintained and up to date. The attendants are always pleasant, polite and helpful. They have a great folding area and the dryers don't take an hour to dry the blankets. The prices have always been reasonable and if I had to do weekly family laundry, this is where I'd come. It's in a nice area of town and they don't allow bums and transients to stay inside the building. A problem I've had with previous laundromats I've used. I highly recommend this laundry faculty if you find yourself in need of a clean and safe space to do your laundry. read more

Laundry Yard is very clean and has numerous washers and dryers. We had a flood and needed to wash every sheet and towel (plus some clothes) we used to soak up the water. They have extra large machines that helped make this go so much faster. But best of all, Stephanie, the employee that day, was amazingly professional, friendly, and helpful. She really went above and beyond. She was a bright spot in a very bad day. read more

The attendant was very friendly and offered advice about washing and drying my sleeping bags, offered free water and loaned me some tennis balls for drying. They also offer drop off laundry service. I have been using laundry yards drop off service for a while now and I always got along very good with all the staff (I was even getting an additional discount for being a recurring and good costumer). Then, one day for one reason and because we are all humans and we all make mistakes they gave all my big load of laundry to someone else. (Of course they paid cash and they could not see nothing from their cameras for "X reason"... it sounds like a customer stole my laundry) The fact that their staff gave all my laundry to someone else did not really bother me much, because I was really hoping that the *owner* (Jon F.) was going to respond as a real professional business owner. However, when I finally got in touch with him he straight lied and said that I accused his staff a few previous times of stealing my laundry and that I have had a rude behavior once again a complete lie. His way of solving this issue was to threaten calling the cops on me if I ever go back to his laundry mat. Jon do you really think that I want to keep giving you my business?! Wow the best laundromat we've seen! We've been traveling on the road for almost three months and one of the least glamour is parts is laundry. We've been to some dirty places. But not Laundry Yard! Clean, huge, all machines worked, helpful staff on site doing fluff and food service, and the coin machine works but they also take debit cards. Going back before we leave town too for sure. We loved laundry yard until we were shocked at the way we were very unprofessionally handled today. We were using their laundry service about twice a week to handle our linens from our airbnb for months. A very large drop off of ours was given to a different person not affiliated with us over a week ago. About $200 of linens and towels. The staff said they will look into it with the manager and owner. I over heard other calls my husband made to them to follow up and it was taking a while to look into it, and ask the owner etc. Today my husband called to ask nicely "what's the plan" to the owner who was short and hasty with him from the start and said "the staff told the me that you were making accusations saying they stole it etc." My husband denied and explained that he did not. English is his second language so he must have been misunderstood in trying to make clear that we or anyone we know did not pick up - even though the manager insisted to my husband that "you know her." The call with the owner Jon left my husband very confused and shocked. We have had nothing but calm and professional interactions with the staff until today where we were accused of being hostile and told to "never come back". With a follow up text after the call tell my husband that the staff doesn't feel safe and if he ever returns the police will be called. They have a right to ask us not to return but the way everything was handle was very dramatic and unprofessional. There was no way we would return anyways with risk of our laundry being given to another customer. This was one of the most unprofessional interactions we have ever had with a business. Due to the extreme reactions of us asking what happened and "what's the plan." I can only assume there must be some sort of very stressful situations going on to cause such a huge overreaction. Yet it was uncalled for and very unprofessional, we and the houses we manage will never use this service again. read more

Needed to get a comforter and big sleeping bag washed. They were both filthy from my dog and being left in cars for too many days. The staff at the Laundry Yard were friendly and the heavy loader machines fit both of these (and could've maybe even fit the other big sleeping bag I left at home). I was surprised that the washer was almost $9.75 but the rest of the machines were still prices I remember from back in the day so I trust the value. Best laundromat I've been too! I don't do business there anymore since I moved to Denver, but I would recommend this mat to anyone living in Lakewood or close distance. The washer, dryers and floors are CLEAN (close to being polished) the attendant must have to wipe the machines every shift. This is the first laundromat that I've seen where the machines take debit or credit. I don't have to worry about getting cash or how much cash I need to bring or walking around misplacing my baggie full of quarters. Once I'm done I just get charge ONCE (like $23.50) not a bunch of little 25 cent transactions. read more

I used 3 of the Medium washers that wash 3 loads for $6 Dryers are .25 for 7 mins and they dry really good be careful with the Hot setting. Went here when my normal laundry closed. I heard the people who ran it were supposed to be so nice. Not really. The woman who answered the call basically turned me away because of timing etc over a holiday. Then I took it in anyway and the guy begrudgingly agreed to do it. Came in to do some large bedding. Such a nice laundromat! It's very clean, with many machines of different sizes and an attendant here the entire time. Coin changer available, and they also take credit cards. All front loader washers, from 2x size at $2.50/load to 9x size at $9.50/load. Driers are 3x and 5x size. A couple of weeks ago my dryer went out on a sunday night while all of work clothes were sopping wet. I threw them into a laundry bag while my wife checked the hours of nearby laundromats. This was the nearest one to my house, and was open until 9:00 with a note that last load had to be started by 7:30. I pulled into the parking lot at 7:32. By the time I got my 1 bag of wet clothes to the door, there was an employee there telling me I couldn't start a new load. I explained patiently that it was 1 load that was dryer only, and I would be out by 8:15 at the latest. He said the owner would not allow anyone to start a new load after 7:30, no exceptions, even for a dryer only load at 7:34. Fortunately, the folks at the laundromat at Kipling and Hampden are more reasonable. read more

Visiting from out of town. This place is spotless! $2.50-$5 to wash a load. 25 cents for 4 minute of dryer. Machines take credit cards. Vending machine for detergent takes quarters. The owner is rude! Put in over $5.75 in the washer because it wouldn't start! When he came to "check that washer" he opened it up took the money out put it back in the washer after I clearly moved my laundry to the washer next to it and started the load in that one and then proceeded to tell me he will not give me my money back! basically said I never put the money in the washer! im definitely not hard up for $5.75 sir! And I will not be coming back just to be called a theif haha and the owner replies with "we have conflicting info" if you have cameras you can CLEARLY see is putting the money in the machine! There was no conflict as we sat there quietly with our 12 month old son and waited for the washers to be done! The guy even offered our son a lollipop! So lets not lie and make up stories!
