I had never bought anything like this before so I went to the store ahead of time (before I went with my instructor) to make sure they had what I needed. The owner was very rude to me when I walked in but then warmed up a little bit. He showed me what they had that was what I was looking for and they had a good selection. I was a little suspicious because nothing had price tags on it. He told me everything in that section was $20-25. When I went back with my instructor, the proprietor was much nicer to him than me and they looked at many items while I looked on (because I didn't really know what I was supposed to buy). They settled on something and we went to the cash register where the guy told me it was $80! I was pretty shocked but I went along (my mistake). The proprietor had taken the hairpiece out of the box to show it and didn't give me the box--he just stuck the hairpiece in a cheap little plastic bag (like a grocery bag but smaller and cheaper) by itself and handed it to me. For $80 I would have at least expected to get the box. I now think it was because he scammed me on the price and didn't want me looking it up. When I took it to my hairdresser, she said that it was wrong for what I wanted (it had the wrong clips and so could only be used for a ponytail, which was specifically not what we wanted) and it was only worth $15-20. So I got scammed on the price and now can't even use it. I should have read the reviews of this place because someone else said they were scammed as well. Just go somewhere else or buy online.

Store is small so bulky items like cribs are not accepted. If you have a large item, call ahead to gauge interest. Bring your driver's license. This was my first time selling with them (any location) but the process was fairly straightforward. The employees could have been a bit more helpful (especially since I was struggling to drag multiple large items into the doorway) but they were easy to interact with and mostly pleasant. HOW IT WORKS: You bring your stuff. If it's in bags or bins of clothes/toys -- they limit it to two items per selling session. You scan the QR code on the counter and fill out the online form to register. They call your name and check you in. They give you a time estimate and you can either leave or stay in the store. You get a text message when your stuff has been reviewed. Note: they can only hold your stuff for about a day (24 hours, I believe) so plan accordingly. You come back and they tell you what they would like to buy and how much they will offer you for it. You can accept either cash or credit (same amount, you don't get more for choosing credit, like at Buffalo Exchange). Credit only makes sense if you're buying something else on the spot. They also return anything they don't want. Note: if you want to be in and out as fast as possible, get there 10-15 minutes before they open and wait outside the door so you can be first in line to sell. I've come several times at 10am and there's always someone there already. PURCHASE RATE: They took most of what I brought. I brought 2 large containers of clothes and toys and they took about 90% of it. I had already filtered to try to pull out anything damaged but I'm still very pleased with how much they bought. It also depends on their current inventory. I noticed they had a few baby carriers in stock -- assuming they will pay less or reject them altogether. PAYOUT: For used clothes, it won't be that high. Obviously, depends on brand and condition too. Same for other items. For instance, I brought a Baby Bjorn Bouncer (Bliss) in a discontinued color (clean, great condition, toy bar included). About $300 value originally. They offered me about $30. Not as much as I could get if I really invested effort in selling it online but not bad. Regarding my two aforementioned containers of clothes and toys, they paid $50. I had a few brand new (with tags) items so I feel like the payout was higher than usual. BULKY ITEMS: Please note that this store is pretty cramped and stuffed full of items for sale. They put their strollers outside but the inside doesn't leave much room for bulky items. As a result, they don't accept cribs. They might accept other large items depending on brand, whether it folds, condition, and what they currently have in stock. I saw a pack and play there but they may only have room for one at a time. It doesn't hurt to call and ask if you've got a large item and don't want to lug it in unnecessarily. They did accept a Regalo playpen I brought in (it did fold up though). PARKING: It's in a strip mall so parking is easy. Ultimately, I'm just happy to pass on my stuff (and keep it out of the landfill) and make a few bucks in the process.

This was a 30-minute drive for me from Pflugerville. I can only speak to the selling process at this location, which I think could be helpful for other people in my position. The store did not explain the process to me. I brought in a handful of items, and I was asked to provide my driver's license. They put my items in a bin and I was told that the store had a 2-hour backlog of items to go through. No problem; I drove back home and received a voice mail later that day that they were finished and I could come pick up my items. I returned the phone call and found out that I HAD to physically come back to the store within 24 hours to pick up any items they didn't want and to receive my credit for the items they wanted to keep. There is no other option. I explained that I was 30 minutes away (and I actually had to be out of town that day) and could they just let me know how much they were buying? No, they would not offer that information over the phone. So I rearranged my work trip schedule to add an extra hour on the road to drive to Georgetown and back, only to find out they were only offering to buy ONE item, at less than $2. So that likely didn't even cover my gas to drive there and back twice. If I had known, I wouldn't have even bothered to go back and pick up my items, which ended up going in the convenient clothes donation bin located behind the store in the parking lot.

They just had too many things for me to mention, and all of them were amazing! I was hoping to get some more exciting items, but my son has taken a liking to these 3D creatures. They were $17 each, higher than when I've paid most times, but also fairly acceptable in price. The employee working made some small talk, but she wasn't entirely personable. I feel that businesses geared mainly to our children should have employees with bright and bubbly personalities. I understand that's not always a possibility, but I do feel it makes the whole experience better for everybody. The only true con to our experience was that the story reeked of cat urine. They did have the doors open with a fan blowing out, so maybe they're aware and trying to get rid of it, I'm not sure. But it wasn't a pleasant smell at all. One thing that was a huge disappointment to us was, we couldn't put the name on the birth certificate with the computer, and it used to be that if you scanned the barcode, the info for the bear came up on the screen, but now, all you can do is print a birth certificate, and then write on it. Nothing fun about that. You can't scan the barcode, and they took the keyboards away. The computers don't even talk anymore. That was half the fun, but the company is further cheapening the experience. We like this particular location because it hasn't been updated to be overly bright and overheated, it's nostalgic, but not being able to do the birth certificate took away from the experience. That was a very poor decision that the company made. It's too bad that that poor decision is going to affect this store in a very negative way, for something they have no control over. The employees in the store were awesome though. Any negativity comes from a company-wide decision, not something that the store did.
