My car was towed, and I went to pick it up less than 12 hours later with all the proper documentation and payment ready. From the moment I arrived, the staff were rude, aggressive, and hostile. They refused to provide their names and repeatedly questioned the amount I had been quoted the night before. When it was time to pay, they tried to charge me a $95 labor fee that I had not agreed to. The amount they were giving me didn't make sense, and when I disputed it several times, one employee became visibly nervous and eventually let me pay the original quoted amount because I was being polite. They demanded cash, refused to show a receipt, and acted suspiciously throughout the process. Everything about their behavior felt dishonest, and it seemed like they were trying to scam me. Based on my experience and other reviews online, this appears to be a pattern of overcharging and poor customer service. What's even more concerning is that Fort Bliss, the military base here in El Paso, has a contract with this towing company. Soldiers and military families could have their cars towed here and face the same aggressive behavior and questionable billing practices. If your vehicle is towed to AD Towing, be extremely cautious -- double-check the amount you were quoted, insist on a proper receipt, and do not let them intimidate you. we have been waiting the office in the front like 10-15 minutes while employee still talking on the phone and ignored us. I'm sure he did saw us to waiting but he decide to take the phone like more than 2 times and we moving to the other office and he talk to next customer after us that's mean deaf discrimination because we're deaf. they cost me for 153 wotry damages and extra price for storage and they made us waiting for more than 1 hours but they told me be ready in 40 minutes. That is not cool and not really appreciate for what they did to us and my car. They are really advantage us and not telling the hones. They have no respect of people or even cars. My husband's car broke down on the way home from work. Our insurance company gave us a list of providers we could call as we don't carry roadside assistance on this particular vehicle. AD was our first call. They quoted us $95 out of pocket and said they were on their way. We were about 5 miles away from their shop during rush hour traffic. They took just under an hour to arrive. The driver, Johnny, was very friendly, easy to work with, and took the time to make sure it got loaded and unloaded safely and didn't scrape. We were nervous reading reviews after we had already waited about a half hour but decided to roll with it. We were pleased with the service and would call them again if needed in the future. read more

I called AD and was told that it would be 90 minutes. The driver arrived almost an hour early. Johnnie was knowledgeable and careful with my 1930 Model A. Great service. Reasonable fees. I recommend these guys. read more

My insurance company utilized this company for roadside assistance. Waited patiently 3 hours from their estimated arrival time. Still nothing, so contacted my insurance company several times and also tried contacting this insurance company. Interestingly enough, when I called the company directly ended up getting hung up on. Really shows the professionalism of this company. So I called back my insurance company and had then go with the competition where I immediately got a call back from a competitor and am waiting on their arrival. Don't use this company whatsoever unless you like getting the run around and sad to say that they messed up an insurance company's work order. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. After 3 hours waiting for them to tow my husband's car back. We called they said 25-35 mins. So we waited an hour and called again. They said the tow guy was hooking up the car. One hour passes by and we call again. Their response is he is on the high way. The tow guy calls us to confirm drop off and says he is barely leaving the tow yard. This is so ridiculous. Now I can tell why they have so many bad reviews. Terrible !!! read more

What a horrible experience with this company. The first estimate for arrival was an hour and half. No big deal, we sat. We call after 2 hours, they say oh we had to get a car because someone got arrested. Another hour, we call and say we have to get kids from school. They say that's perfect, they should be ready for us when we get them. 30 mins later we call and let them know that we are headed back and will be there waiting. They say they are on the way. Another hour and nothing. Call again, they tell us sorry, they had another accident, they would be there soon. Wait another hour, call back they say they are on the way. We wait again....I call back and the gentleman says that it's the end of the day and they will be there in 15 mins because they are closing, they are on the way...again. 15 mins, we call back, and now they are on the other side of El Paso, but COULD come get us. Here we are 6 hours later, 4 kids in the car and STILL waiting for them. If they couldn't make it for a couple hours, say that! Don't leave families sitting and waiting for you for 6 hours! The last call I made, the gentleman very rudely said "Do you want our services or not?" I replied "Yes. But I want you to actually show up!" He said "Then wait." I hung up and started calling other services at that point. Within a few minutes the driver showed up and told us he was just dispatched like 15 mins before. worker arrived 1 hour late no big deal right? I had my jewelry in the middle with all my belongings and my rings just happen to disappear $500 worth and at the same time he was in my car messing with the shifter. If I could have the option of no stars I would choose zero. This company has had my Semi truck for five days, and the day we got towed we waited 14 hours (we were only 1.5 hours away) then it took 2 hours for the guy to hook up to our truck. They told us it wasn't paid for but it was paid prior to the tow truck even arriving. We have asked them for 5 days to tow it to the location it was suppose to be dropped at originally and they keep telling us no. They are not releasing our vehicle to us or allowing us to get our belongings from the truck. We have involved the police. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CRIMINALS & LIARS. read more

Everytime I call they give me an eta of an hour waiting a total of 3 hours when each time I called they continued to to tell me the eta was about an hour , about thirty minutes until I called a third time and said "you have the option of calling someone else as well" obviously I would have if I had know the actual eta, I had no problems the first time using them to tow and was relevantly cheap I'm not sure if they changed employees or what but just because we're in need of towing does not give them the right to act rude over the phone when asking when would they be arriving . read more

On 2 different days I was given an approximate wait time by the dispatcher, and on both days there was no communication unless I called back to ask for an update, and on both days it took over an hour past the original time I was given for the driver to arrive. I place 0 blame on the company for not knowing a different truck would be needed for the tow job, but I do place 100% of blame on the company for not communicating delays. Things happen, sometimes jobs take longer than planned, but communication with customers goes a long way, especially in 100+ degree weather while waiting for a tow truck to arrive. Both drivers were extremely helpful and polite, but the lack of communication unfortunately marred my opinion of their dispatch center. read more

Do not use they just flat out lie. Was told 45 min and after 1 hour and twenty minutes called back to be told he is right around the corner be there shortly another 15 minutes go by and second shift driver calls me saying "his shift just started and they asked me to call you to see if you still need a tow" really I could have done other things and was trying to get to repair shop before it closed. Wish they would have been honest and up front in the first place. Call back and just get told I am the second shift an I don't know anything about it. read more

Called at 10:20 am for a tow, and was told tow would arrive by 12:30. Tow did not arrive until 4pm. Older driver and his wife. Used a neighbors car to jump start my vehicle to drive up ramp. A bunch of crooks and very irresponsible and careless. read more

STAY AWAY FROM A D WRECKING / TOWING ON LEE BLVD IN EL PASO, TX!! THEY WILL HOLD YOUR VEHICLE HOSTAGE AND DEMAND CASH!! I just felt I needed to take the time to keep anyone else from running into the same disaster I ran into with A D Towing (or Wrecking) out of El Paso Texas. The clutch went out on my 2015 Kenworth Heavy Haul semi truck with a Cat 349E Excavator in tow. They used two wreckers to pull our truck off the side of the freeway and into a field near their place of business. They then towed our Kenworth to the dealer for repairs. They decided they were going to stick it to the out of town company and wanted $3500 for their 4 hours of service. We have been in business since 1956 and have impeccable credit and the $Millions in assets and have never not paid our bills. When the truck got fixed(we paid a premium to rush the repair), we came back to collect the trailer and make our payment only to discover that they would not release our trailer. They parked their wrecker in front of our heavy haul trailer and HELD OUR EQUIPMENT HOSTAGE AND DEMANDED PAYMENT ONLY IN CASH. Since my driver did not have $3500 cash on him, THIS FORCED ME TO SEND ONE OF MY MANAGERS ON A 860 MILE ROUND TRIP FROM PHOENIX TO DELIVER THE CASH. During this 24 hour hostage situation and not letting our truck leave, our oversize load permits for New Mexico expired causing further insult. We tried to reason with them and gave them our word that we on our way with the Cash and would hand deliver it, but it was imperative that we get the semi on the road before our permits expired. Their office has a sign posted to the public that reads, "This vehicle storage facility must accept payment by electronic check, credit card, or debit card for any charge associated with delivery of a vehicle." Since they were unlawfully holding about $700k of our equipment, we reported their activities to the El Paso Police and they came to investigate. They said they could not do anything for us since it was a "civil matter". When my manager finally arrived with a bag of Cash, they told him they were considering holding our equipment through the weekend since we called the police on them. This sounds like a horror story from Mexico, but this truly happened in America. I have no idea why they would demand Cash and not accept any other form of payment, especially when their window says they are required to accept credit card. They definitely have some sort of shady operation going on. Once my manager arrived from Phoenix, he was able to negotiate the Cash amount down to $2500. I believe this had more to do with his large and extremely intimidating stature and nothing to do with the kindness of their hearts. read more

Only because you can't do ZERO STARS. My husband calls and they tell him they will be at site in under an hour. We call 1.5 hours later and are given the run around for 7 MINUTES- then the gentleman says "uh we don't have record of you calling, where are you? When did you call?" Seriously , stay away from these people. When you need to be towed you don't need to be screwed with too. I'll be sure to tell everyone and tweet about these people to save others grief. read more

I called my insurance company who choose this company and advised of a 1hr service so I sat on the side of the freeway. All is good, not - at 75m I call a&d directly and am advised driver is 10m away from me. Ok, now all is good, not! I call a&d again 30m later and I'm advised driver is on I10 and a few minutes away. All is good, not! At the 1hr late mark I contact insurance company again they call a&d who advise 20m away accident on freeway traffic backed up. I advise agent that I'm on freeway and backup is past me so I don't believe them, besides they have lied to me twice already but I'll wait the 20m. All is bs now so 30m later I call insurance, they call a&d again I call bs and advise insurance to send another provider which they agree too. Second provider calls me for exact location and as they are 3m away; a&d finally shows up 2.5hrs late 3.5hrs after initial contact. The driver was apologetic and provided good service, even drove me to hotel once we dropped car off. read more

I agreed with Alex to have them back a trailer onto an RGN. We agreed to $275 to get it done. Driver showed up an hour late. Alex calls me saying this will now cost me $585 plus anything additional. No buddy we agreed to $275 flat. Then he lied again saying he told me $275/hr. Who the heck charges that kind of rate? Not to mention this man hung up on me several times that day. After I let them know that I will not being paying the magical number Alex created without any communication, he threatened me saying, "OK Mr. perfect, we are just going to take this trailer back to our pound until you pay us all of it. Trailer was not a repossession you moron. Told him I would call the cops. Have not heard from them since. Very unprofessional and cannot be trusted with a twenty dollar bill. Please do not use this company! There are plenty of other decent companies in the area that will not try to lie and rob you. Hopefully this helps others out there! read more
