We thought that all DJs offered the same things and just played what they're asked to. We quickly learned that a lot of DJs just offer what is asked of them, but don't seem to be too enthused about it. It was far from what we were seeking for our New Years Eve wedding. From the first time we met Peter, we knew he was the DJ for us. He told us about the many events that he's done, as well as the extensive knowledge he has about music and how important creating a fun environment is. He listened to what our vision for the wedding and reception was, offered his expertise as to what would flow well, and was genuinely excited about a NYE wedding. Also, he responded quickly to emails as well as text messages. I was very confident that he knew exactly what we wanted and that it would be an incredible night, and I was right! He provided music for seating the guests, the processional, the recessional, cocktail hour, and the reception. It was flawless!! If you want 5-star entertainment, you have to pay for it. 3) My wife and I never felt bored or awkward and there was never a moment where we noticed a lack of flow. The DJ's were on point at the ENTIRE night (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) with music, announcements, and fill-in entertainment that kept our guests on their toes. 4) We had 275 rowdy guests and Event Team handled it like champs. 5) If you need extras: up-lighting, TV's, projectors, etc.- they have it. 6) Our head DJ, Shawn, never hesitated to take our requests for additions or subtractions to playlists, slideshows, etc.- and we made a LOT of them. At the start he sent us a customer profile for our event where we listed our preferred types of music, the songs we wanted played in our ceremony and reception, a schedule/order of events for the whole day and details about the venue and equipment provided. He ended up bringing and using all of his equipment which was perfect! I (the bride) am kinda picky and when looking for a DJ was worried about the big awkward stereo equipment taking away from the prettiness of the venue. Ryan's set up was great! It was not over the top or distracting for the ceremony and for our reception he had a really cool looking set up with some LEDs that fit into the venue very nicely but wasn't obnoxious! We were lucky enough to be able to be able to have him set up during our rehearsal the night before which was so relieving because we could do a few run throughs with the music and it meant one less thing to get done the day of the wedding! He got the music for the ceremony perfectly mixed and set up a mic for us and our officiant to use. Our ceremony went so smoothly and beautifully with his help! For our reception he kept everything on a perfect schedule which was incredible because I am the most unorganized and late person every but he kept it all on track! He announced all the important details and events at the perfect time and helped keep the flow of the party going. Our music for dancing was PERFECT!!!
