However, when unavailable we've had others cut our hair and they did great jobs as well. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They offer you a drink while waiting which is a nice touch. Waiting times can be long I once waited up to a hour just for my hair to be cut. Reviews elsewhere show multiple barbers in the shop however when I went those multiple times there was only 1 which was Sam. Also the price is $30 for a haircut which is extremely overpriced for the bad quality haircut I received should be at most $10. Had a seat in an ultra plush waiting room chair, and got to watch some sport center while I waited for John to finish with his customer before me. Had to wait a whole 6 minutes and John introduced himself and had me sit down in the chair. Now the attention to detail that John showed me must be a habit for everyone that works there because both the barbers to the left and right of me were working just as diligently as John was on me. The whole time, talking to every customer that was waiting or sitting in the chair getting trimmed up. By the time I was done, it felt like I had a new group of guys and gals to sit and bullshit with, all the while getting an awesome, much needed grooming. However, the primary reason my experience is always excellent at Union is Tee -- he consistently provides an awesome haircut, great conversation, and makes the process seamless. I've been getting my hair cut by Tee for about 5 years now, and I can confidently say that I'll always trust Tee to give me an excellent cut. I've since moved further away, and my drive to the shop is an hour, but it's worth it to know I'm always going to get the same consistent experience, professionalism, and be able to catch up with Tee.
