His kindness, generosity, and patience are a gift to this profession. Dr. Olson has worked tirelessly to help me, with great results. The pain from TMJ is almost nonexistent and the number of migraines I experience has decreased significantly. He not only explains what he is going to do, but why he is doing it...and that is the first time any dentist has had the courtesy to do so. I so appreciate his dedication to the profession. He stays up to date on best practices, which results in his patients receiving the absolute best care. His gentle demeanor makes visiting the dentist a pleasure. I had an emergency with a cracked tooth and had to go. Cue major anxiety and distress. Dr. Tariq and his dental hygienist were amazing. I explained my issues, and my autism/sensory processing disorder, and they made every single effort possible to make it as least distressing as possible. While I will never enjoy going to the dentist, I know I can endure it at this place. I have many more visits in my future to repair the damage I've done, and am confident that I have a safe place to go.

While I initially came here to address issues with TMJ, I now go here for all of my dental care from cleanings to Clear Correct invisible braces. I appreciate that my care is thoroughly explained at each step and any concerns I may have are always addressed. The dentist was going to put three other crowns on teeth that were in good condition saying it was a precautionary measure. I only wanted the one tooth repaired. The receptionist tried to make an appointment, and I asked for her to check with my insurance to see how much was covered and asked how much the crown was. I was told that she would get back with me. I kept checking and she said that I would get the information before she did. I thought this strange. I cancelled the appointment until I found out about the insurance and price. I received information directly from my insurance company and it was way too high plus for teeth that didn't need to be repaired. It was a good thing that I didn't keep the appointment before I heard from the insurance company. THIS PLACE IS RUNNING A SCAM. I checked with another dentist who called my insurance company and had the information in a day, plus the charge for the one crown was less than 1/3 of what Northline Dentist wanted. Then they sent me an email for a cleaning appointment and when I showed up they said I didn't have an appointment. They were playing games. In addition to her being an extraordinarily well respected doctor in the community she is known by doctors all over the state and further for her expertise and has the utmost respect from every doctor I know. Whenever I am asked who I see as my gyno and mention Dr. Helen Lacoste I get the same reaction. Oh, I know Dr. Lacoste she is known very well, and I have met her personally and have worked with her personally in some capacity whether for referral or at some sort of conjoined effort for certain needs that I've had over the years and the single thing that people always mention is that she is an incredibly knowledgeable and continually one of the Most respected doctors in her field and among others in the state of Michigan, that they know I've always said she also has an incredible bedside manner unlike any doctor I've ever met before my entire life, and if someone with an extreme phobia and white coach syndrome, this quality is a true gift and effort on her part and part of who she is I have never met someone with such care and dedication to ensuring I am taking care of myself and the best way possible but also she's getting to know me as a person so that I feel comfortable with her and she is very diligent about follow up making sure things are as easy for me as possible as I've gone through surgery with her among other things and I have a couple friends who by chance have also had her to further baby and she was wonderful with both of my friends that had unexpected changes and had to see someone right away and ended up with Dr. Lacoste by chance their experiences were second and none. I consistently tell Dr. Lacoste that every appointment I see her at that she is not allowed to ever retire because I will need her the type of quality care the experience and attention to my medical needs and health for the future are always half of mine for her. She never forgets anything and ensures that I have things in advance that I'll need example a breast cancer screening and mammogram order. Has me an MRI order for when I have to make my appointment so that I don't have to call back and make them even though it's a month in advance or so, she makes everything as easy as possible. She is incredibly kind and will spend as much time as she needs with you when it appointment to explain things and make sure you feel comfortable and understand what's going on. I could not recommend someone more and although she is a very popular demand person, I strongly urge you to make an appointment with her and you will thank yourself. I called and called and was promised to have a call back to schedule the appointment to no avail. In my opinion I would not recommend her for facial procedures of any kind.
