One is I find the site Uber.Com and the user interface on my Android phone somewhat clumsy. (I had trouble reading my screen in the sunlight.) Two, I discovered that at a congested mall the GPS doesn't pinpoint your location that accurately. The Uber driver finally called me to determine my exact location. So close yet so far away. Uber? Lyft? Bus? My friend Dave? Heck no! We needed romance, and luckily a bicycle taxi thing provides one thing and one thing only...romance! (Disclaimer: Pedal Power Cabs provides other things as well including friendly service, affordable prices, and obviously transportation) Griffin, a marketing student at Marquette, is nothing but professional and made this the perfect way to travel. Like Santa, he went above and beyond. Griffin not only helped me figure out the logistics of the meetup and trip, but was extremely flexible. I requested that while heading to our destination that we might stop at Zeidler Union Square/Wisconsin Ave for the lights and he recommended we swing by Pere Marquette as well. I told him this was part of a Christmas gift and he asked what music he could have playing. (Answer: Carpenters Christmas Portrait, of course) As far as the actual ride, it was all comfort. He had a blanket to keep us warm, the carriage seat was extremely plush, and the ride was WAY smoother than expected. The lights, the city life, the Carpenters...we felt like a parade crossed with royalty crossed with the movie Rad. Pure smiles and most importantly, pure romance. Thank you Griffin.
