Both drivers were very safe and pleasant and driving nice cars. Speaking as a newbie, I have only two negatives. One is I find the site Uber.Com and the user interface on my Android phone somewhat clumsy. (I had trouble reading my screen in the sunlight.) Two, I discovered that at a congested mall the GPS doesn't pinpoint your location that accurately. The Uber driver finally called me to determine my exact location. I walked the 7 blocks to the meeting point. When the shuttle arrived, I was asked for a QR code. Never needed one for a standard ride. I looked at the confirmation email, no code. I looked at the app, no code. I showed all of this to the driver. I even showed him the pending charge in my account. He basically told me to take a hike, tough luck. The cost was $21.54. I ended up having to order a regular ride which cost $117.63. Typical bait and switch. They don't have a phone number to contact them. All done with texting. They told me they'd be in touch within 6-12 hours. I contacted them after 24+ hours. They said they'd be in touch. It's now over 48+ hours and nothing. So close yet so far away. Uber? Lyft? Bus? My friend Dave? Heck no! We needed romance, and luckily a bicycle taxi thing provides one thing and one thing only...romance! (Disclaimer: Pedal Power Cabs provides other things as well including friendly service, affordable prices, and obviously transportation) Griffin, a marketing student at Marquette, is nothing but professional and made this the perfect way to travel. Like Santa, he went above and beyond. Griffin not only helped me figure out the logistics of the meetup and trip, but was extremely flexible. I requested that while heading to our destination that we might stop at Zeidler Union Square/Wisconsin Ave for the lights and he recommended we swing by Pere Marquette as well. I told him this was part of a Christmas gift and he asked what music he could have playing. (Answer: Carpenters Christmas Portrait, of course) As far as the actual ride, it was all comfort. He had a blanket to keep us warm, the carriage seat was extremely plush, and the ride was WAY smoother than expected. A small interaction like this may not seem like much, but as a person with a disability, similar requests are often denied or at best, met with an, "I'll see what I can do", attitude. So, it meant a lot! When my plane arrived I called dispatch, picked up my bag and met my driver, who quickly loaded me into the van and had me home in 15 minutes!
