Called several times to arrange installation of a new top for my Jaguar. Spoke with owner several times and he requested my address which I sent him top set up appointment to do the work. Jim was pleasant, professional and did a great job. The new top l had replaced on my 2005 Chrysler Sebring Convertible looks wonderful. It only took him about 3 hours to do the whole job. Which is the time frame he gave in his original estimate. His price was fair and more reasonable than other qoutes I had from auto body shops. I spoke with Jim about repairing the headliner in my wife's 2004 jetta and was given a price of $150. He seemed personable enough and I wanted to give him the business. In the meantime my wife got a price of 100 from his competitor right down the road... She called him back and asked if he could match the price as we still wanted to give HIM the business. He immediately became rude and belligerent with my wife saying "Take it to him and have him do it for 100 then and good fucking luck" I have NO desire to work with anyone that is polite to me and rude to my wife. I guess some mechanics are still stuck in the 50s when it comes to dealing with women. Too bad for him, good news for his competition though. read more

My personal experience with this business was as follows: 1) Placed a phone call to the number listed on their website seeking an estimate for a headliner repair for my BMW. 2) call was promptly answered by the owner, whom I explained to what service I was needing. 3) he responded to my request for an estimate with "I would only do it if replacing your entire top". 4) when I responded that his website said otherwise and that my top was not in need of replacement, he became rude and suggested I "find another business", which he then stated the name of another local spot. His rudeness was totally out of left field as I was just asking for what his website says he provides, estimates and repairs of top liners! 5) He then abruptly hung up on me, without further explanation or clarification of my questions/request. 6) my tip? Go elsewhere, plenty of good local shops that will do what they say and not be rude to customers! Thank you! read more
