I had to have our septic system cleaned and maintained. The man that came out was very nice and explained things to me. Bad news was that I needed a new part to get my system running again. I thought it would not be a big deal since the company told me that they would order the part and then install it. That was on 6/16. It is now 7/06 and I have not heard from the company nor can I get a return phone call after leaving multiple messages. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION. They are a scam. My father tried getting assistance with his septic tank pumped and gave them his information. They never showed and when we called and called them they quickly denied even being a septic company and hung up on me. Luckily we caught it before they charged my dads card. I had one of their service reps. come to my home to evaluate a septic system issue. After looking at the problem I was told I would be contacted the following morning ( 10/8 ) with a price and to set a time to repair problem. After not hearing anything by mid morning, I called this company and was told that she would get in touch with rep. ( jerry ) and he would call me. Did not receive a call by 3 pm and tried to contact them again. This time the recording said they are closed from 10/8 thru 10/12. There was not a way to leave message with either the company or the rep. It is now 10/14 and still no call. Stay away from this company. They do not care about customers or their wasted day off work. Thanks for nothing ! p.s. called a company named P.O.I. and they came out on 10/9 and repaired the problem at 9 am on 10/12. days in between were weekend days. read more

I was taught at an early age to give people (including businesses) the benefit of the doubt and normally do not give out negative reviews without a valid reason. On a Wednesday, AES Septic Solutions (in Festus) came out and performed a septic system inspection before we purchase our investment property. The system inspection failed and Jerry promised to email us with a full report the next day. We paid Jerry $225 for the inspection and the report was mandatory for us to present to the seller. The next day we never received the report and my agent was waiting for the information so we can cancel our contract. I gave AES the benefit of the doubt and waited until the following Monday morning to call their office. I told the reception that it was urgent and we needed the report sent to us ASAP. She said that she will reach out to Jerry to have it sent out. We also texted Jerry that evening and he promised that he will look into it. On Wednesday afternoon (7 days later), no updates nor response back and they completely ignored all my texts, emails, and phone calls. When I finally threaten legal actions against their company, I was told that Jerry was sick and cannot get the report on time. The receptionist finally reached out to my realtor and agreed to write a vague summary of the inspection result. I was appalled that she was not able to obtain the information from Jerry and asked us (the client) for the inspection outcome/results!! I am very disappointed in AES Septic and they are NOT a trustworthy and reliable company. As a business, they gave me their words and did not follow through on their promises. Horrible company. Erica has no customer service skills and pretty much screwed my father out of $245. I called erica on friday inquiring about getting the septic pumped on a home my father just purchased. She asked me if we are sure that it needs to be pumped ans i said we dont know as we just bought the house but assuming it does as the previous owner wasn't really taking care of the place. Erica told me regardless if it does or doesn't she will still need to charge the $245. I said that was fine. It was a risk we took as we didnt know much about the foreclosed home. She then proceeded to tell me that they are completely booked but she has a driver available that same day. I asked for possibly monday as no one was home and she said driver was busy and so are all the other companies that they would usually refer us to. So i said ok today will work. She called me back about 10 minutes later and i gave her the CC information. It was after i gave her the CC informations she told me that driver might not be able to make it today after all and would be able.to do it first thing Monday morning. Apparently they were not as busy all off a sudden. That should have been my first clue. Monday morning driver arrived and pulled up in the driveway. He told me the septic would nees to be dug up about half a foot as it is burried. I asked him how much would the charge be for that and hw said he called the office and they told him it would be extra $120 ( on top.of what we already paid $245) and that he would do it for free since its a quick easy job but can't cause the boss to maoe money and suggested that we can dig it ourselves to save the $120 and he can come right back today or even tomorrow.. again i guess they just aren't that busy as erica made it seem i order to secure the payment. I told him my father would be here today and driver told me not a problem and to just shoot him a call and he will stop by and he left. It was a little over half an hour later that erica calls and tells me there will be an additional $245 for the driver to come back. I told her that is not what the driver told me at all and said it will only be $120 if he was to dig it. Obviously i would have paid him the $120 to dig it instead of the $245 yet again that i just paid them. But i took the drivers advice! She proceeded to get very rude and unprofessional and told me she recorded our previous conversation. I said she told me its $245 wherher it needs to be pumped or not abd it needs to be pumped, so whats the issue. Apparently because driver came and parked his truck without doing any work at all but telling me it needs digging first cost us $245. i would not recommend this place to anyone.. driver should have mentioned that it would be $245 if he left and erica conveniently waited to cakk me half an hour after driver left to tell me about again charging us $245. Very unprofessional and money hungry! Beware people.. read more
