I did the next best thing and ignored the oil change! I saw this place from the highway and decided to check it out. The staff was awesome; Took me in right away. I walked the lot while the service was performed. To my surprise, I only made it about a quarter way down the lot before the vehicle was ready to go (a typical oil change in the city takes about 45min - 1hr). The employees were solid, humble people and happy to do a job well done. They knew the oil weight, the filter was new, and my car hasn't blown up!

They specialize in used imports and had a lot of nice European cars. I knew I wanted a VW, Volvo, or Audi hatchback/wagon, and they had about five to choose from. All were in nice condition. I ended up buying a 2006 Audi A3 for a price I'm very happy with. I took it out it for a couple hours, and had my friend look it over who is a professional mechanic and European car enthusiast/modder. He spent over an hour checking it out and didn't find anything wrong with it. Dave at Krueger was great to work with. I didn't feel pressured, and he gave me a nice deal on my trade-in that I couldn't wait to get rid of. He came across as a nice, regular guy who enjoys what he does. Getting the deal worked out was actually a pleasure and I enjoyed conversing with him a bit about things not even related to cars. A day after I bought my car, the instrument cluster failed. My mechanic friend who checked out the car for me during my test drive didn't see any problems with it when he hooked up his code reader. I looked online and couldn't find anybody else who has had this problem It was just a freak occurrence and I don't think it could have been predicted. Krueger had the instrument cluster replaced (an expensive repair) at no charge to me, no questions asked. Not many companies these days have the integrity to stand behind what they sell, at least not without giving the customer a hassle about it. Next time I need a new car, they'll be the first dealership I go to.

Placed a call to Lodi Shell not expecting an answer but was incredibly surprised by the positive tone and urgency that Bryan responded. He was incredibly quick, took less than 20 minutes just as he provided as an ETA. He quickly used the battery pack to start car. After hearing we had over 100 miles to our next destination, he said he would be hesitant to drive that far due to possible damage to alternator. He said he would be happy to check if they had the correct battery. We followed him back to the shop in Lodi, he quickly found the correct battery and changed 100 times faster than I could have done it. I was told it would take about an hour and a half, but waited an additional 45 minutes which did not bother me. After they brought the car around out front I waited about another 20 minutes before I went back to the service department, where I was not acknowledged at all. There were three gentlemen behind the desk. One of the men went out into the waiting area looking for my husband. When he came back, he said, and I quote. " people want their cars but they can't wait around for It". when I said, I am standing right here. He replied well I have this name on the account and that's who I'm looking for. I said well that is my car. My name is on the title, and I am the one who paid for it. when he then replied well when I called for him to make an appointment, he never called me back. Which I said I was the one who brought the car in the first place I'm the one who made the appointment and I'm the one who dropped it off this morning. So he offered to change the name in his computer if I could "spare" a minute. And then asked me "if my husband was even still in the picture". Which was none of his business. Asked me if I still had the last name and if I still lived at the address. Which again all he had to do was change the first name on the account. I suppose they think since they are the only dealership in town they can get away with this behavior. This is not the first time i have left frustrated with their service but it is the last. They have definitely lost my business!

Worst service department ever! I have had to have brakes and rotors replaced twice which later to…read morefind out should have been under chevrolet warranty as my truck was purchased brand new through them. Then they replaced my cam shaft and lifters and 5 months later the radiator was leaking. They informed me they didn't have to touch the radiator yet charged me for coolant and then when we went to replace the radiator ourselves we noticed that the bottom shroud was bent down and not even sitting flat along with the plastic piece under the radiator to hold in place wasn't even on correctly because it was bent which clearly showed instead of removing the radiator to do the work (google how to change these parts and it is step 2 in the directions remove the radiator). They refused to pay for any of the damages as the leak was internally on the radiator, well yes after being moved around incorrectly why wouldn't it cause an issue!!! I will never purchase a vehicle from here or use their service department. I have never been treated this poorly by anyone as they always make me feel like I don't know what I am doing.

DO. NOT. EVEN. SET. FOOT! Decided to give Dahl a second chance after the lousy treatment I got from…read moretheir hwy 10 location back in 2021 and tried this place. Sales guy was great about being careful to only look at cars in my price range and we found something I liked but had to wait a few days until my husband could see it. In the day between, the car was taken off the website so we assumed it was sold. Sales guy called the next morning to say he'd found an amazing car in our price range. We took it for a drive, loved it, but when he went back to get the paperwork, he returned without it and told us they had changed the price from $23k to $37k! Then he said the original car we had liked was actually still available even though it had been taken off the website. My husband didn't like it but their closer/finance manager came out, sat down, and tried to get us to buy it anyway. We had a trade and he REFUSED to tell us what they would give us, saying "it depends on what car we choose to buy". After my husband, mother-in-law, and I each asked twice, he finally told me "I just looked it up on KBB and the trade-in was barely worth $400. HUNDRED! I knew perfectly well what my car was worth since I'd researched KBB, CarFax, and Experian car values and all those were WELL into the thousands! He continued to tell me it wasn't worth anything and no other dealer would give me a price as good as this and they would give us a great deal on the car we didn't want. In the end we had to literally get up and walk out. No reputable dealer lists a car for one price and then raises the price by over $10k "AFTER THE SAFETY INSPECTION", and they also don't try to scam you out of thousands of dollars in trade-in value! And this isn't even touching on the treatment I got years ago at one of their other locations! Save yourself time, energy, and thousands of dollars and shop ANYWHERE ELSE!
