In the same week, they came back with another helper Juan to perform tear out and sprayed fungicide to kill molds and checking for additional damage. I had a pipe bust and flood my downstairs area. The company that my insurance sent out was outrageously high and my mom reached out to this company for another quote. Austin came out and my mom had shared with him the quote we got from the insurance company's provider, well she left it on the stove and he took a peep. Regardless, the other company brought in dehumidifiers to help with airing out until my insurance approved. In the meantime, I was looking for someone else. Apparently, Austin's boss decided they wouldn't quote my work bc the other company had their dehumidifiers in my place. Then decided they wouldn't quote the reconstruction until that company came in and did the demolition - literally WHY I wasn't using them was because of cost. Unless you want random strangers in your place to just waste everyone's time - use someone else. This place is comical with their 18 reviews.‍. **UPDATE FOR JAY - yes, they brought their equipment in without my consent or my approval for mitigation; however I explained to Austin that. This is not integrity when all you wanted to do was the repair, where you felt it was where you could make the money. And guess what?? My $1,000 deductible came out of the water mitigation with the next contractor that came in to give me a quote and I gave the job to, who will also probably get awarded the recon too. So how about you treat customers FAIRLY & respectfully, because as Austin previously said - you work for the customer, not the insurance company. Found this services Thru Yelp and was very happy with their professionalism and work. Once we confirmed the mold inspection protocol , they work diligently for 3-4 days to removed most of the Sheetrock that was sitting in a house since the Feb freeze (10 months ago) air inside house was bad . Austin and his crew was very clean , and knows what they were doing and keep me posted by photos and videos as I did not have the gear to wear to go into a molded environment. They have a licenced Inspector do a test & certified that it is safe for occupation . Our civic association meeting building had a series of floods over the years that had never been properly addressed causing us to have mold in our kitchen cabinets, and closets. I contacted three remediation companies that I found, with highest ratings, through Yelp for bids.. Of the three bids we chose A+ffordable Water Mitigation and Home Services the lowest-- not because their's was the lowest, but because Austin was the most thorough in checking the area for what needed to be done. I had the most confidence in him for our job. This was no mistake. He and his crew of three others came in on a Friday morning and closed off the area with a plastic sheet wall, by 2 PM had torn out the cabinets, removed the doors and facings, cut the sheetrock up 4' from the floor, sprayed everything with antimicrobial and had machines running to dry everything. His crew cleaned up the mess and hauled off the demoed parts. Austin came back on Saturday and Sunday to check how things were drying. On Monday they sanded, painted with Kilz, cleaned up the area and hauled off their machines. When they demoed the cabinets they saw that the fronts of the cabinets and drawers were not damaged or moldy and could be removed and saved. A neighborhood carpenter was able to build in the new cabinets and installed the fronts and drawers--that was another big savings for us. Austin was very professional, honest, helpful and friendly. They were thorough in testing for any moisture spots (which turned out negative) and repaired and painted the impacted area. The day after Thanksgiving, in the evening, we noticed a puddle of water on the floor. It was a leak from our water heater in the attic. We called A+ Home Services. They came the next day morning and assessed the damage and determined the corrective action to be taken. They immediately started the dry out operation with floor fans and dehumidifiers. While drying, they came out a couple of times to monitor the operation. They did a good job. They provided good courteous service and the charges were very reasonable.
