I have used A Fiitting Image several times with good results. However the last two times were a disappointment. One pair of pants I had hemmed were not the same length on each leg. The dress I had hemmed was not the length it should have been either. When I mentioned it to the seamstress she acted as if it were my fault. I'm going elsewhere from now on. read more

They are horrible with service to match. They hemmed 2 new pair of jeans too short. One happened to be $100 that I can't wear now. I had several other things to be worked on, she apologized saying that person wasn't there any longer and I was dealing with owner now. She gave me a $40 credit. She was going to do the new work to cover it, then charged me $40 later. And she couldn't even do all the work because something was broken. I tried on the new batch on in the store. 1 pair was touching the ground and another was way too long. She refused to redo anything. Pathetic service and horrible work. Go somewhere else. read more

I took my bridesmaid dress here to get altered. The straps were too big, and the skirt was too long. I was charged $100. When I came back to get my dress, the hem was completely butchered. The dress was too short in the back, and the front layer was longer in some spots and shorter in others. It was like a zig-zag. The top was lopsided also. The fabric was puckered and bumpy. It looks terrible. When I asked for my money back, the two women working denied that anything was wrong with it. Eventually they gave me a refund but were so rude and hateful. I don't have time to get a new dress so now I have to find someone to fix it. Do not go here. I can't believe they treat people like this. read more

I took my wedding dress to be hemmed at the bottom. When I received my dress back, (the Wednesday before my wedding which was that Friday) the lady had cut and altered my entire dress. It look like she had taken bunches of my dress and stapled them. When asked if it could be fixed she said, "It looks good to me". We compared photos of how my dress looked before it got to them and The only response I received from her for ruining my dress was "sorry...you can take your dress somewhere else." I had a wedding dress dry cleaned and took it to them to put on consignment. I brought it in in the box from the cleaner and it was in pristine condition. It didn't sell but when I came to get it, it was black grimy filthy on the wedding dress and the veil. When I remarked on it she made it sound like it was my fault getting it caught in the car door. What???!!!! No one could have gotten it this dirty with their shoes, it was terribly mishandled or their dressing room floors are grimy. It's so dirty that I wouldn't even let my granddaughter use it to play dress up. I am so sorry I took it to them. No wonder it didn't sell being that gross! I give them two stars because they give away dresses that don't sell to people in need. If you are wedding dress shopping, it might be the place to go but I don't recommend selling there. read more

I have used A Fitting Image for around 15 years, maybe more. It used to be under another owner, but the quality has remained the same. My alterations are always done right the first time, usually within a week. I've never had an item cost more than what was quoted to me. Granted, I've not had a wedding or prom dress altered, but I've always been pleased with the service. Alterations are pricey everywhere, but it's worth it to me to pass off the hassle and stress to them! read more

A Fitting Image in Little Rock will hide behind a "clause" in their contract and steal your consignment items. They will claim to lose your formal wear items and refuse to pay you for them saying that you should have known they arent responsible for lost or stolen items. Terrible. I brought two pairs of jeans there to be hemmed. The 'ready' date I was given was over two weeks later (a bit ridiculous in itself). I show up a day after this date, and not only is it not ready, they couldn't even find my jeans, nor did they have any recollection of them being back there. Finally, they found them close to 45 minutes later and informed me that they would be ready in two days. I picked up my two pairs that I was charged $24 for. One pair, they hemmed half of what they were supposed to. To make matters worse, they didn't even do ANYTHING to the other pair that I paid for!
