We had an amazing experience working with A Garden Party. They far exceeded our expectations. The flowers were gorgeous.

Came to A Garden Party tonight for an event -- a Mommy & Me bouquet workshop -- and had a great time! The ladies who ran the workshop and store were knowledgeable about different types of flowers and walked us through building our bouquets. The instructions were a little rushed (they know what they're doing! I'm a little slow haha) but they didn't rush us at all and answered any questions we had. The shop had a plethora of plants and other planty accessories. I asked if they had self-waterers and they only had one but when I described the situation (a planter with no drainage and me thinking watering from below the surface would be better to prevent those little fungus flies) -- they actually recommended not buying the self-waterer and to just keep watering lightly like I had been. So no pressure to make a sale or especially to make unnecessary sales -- these gals just really know their plants! Also appreciated the shop cats and their knowledge regarding toxicity of plants to cats. If I lived closer by or owned a car I could see myself stopping in here often! Alas, I do not. But please go give them a look!! read more

A Garden Party came recommended by our wedding venue, ICONA Avalon, after we pivoted from our big city wedding amidst the pandemic and decided to do a microwedding at the beach with our family and bridal party. I cannot describe how beautiful the flowers were that Mary, Dawn and their team developed for our wedding. The bouquets were gorgeous, they supplied a perfect driftwood arbor for our beach ceremony and the decor was exquisite. Mary and A Garden Party team were a dream to work with. After seeing their gorgeous work at my best friends wedding, they were the first florist I contacted when searching for our wedding. They were so patient in helping us narrow down our quote to hit the number in our budget and helped us design our dream wedding. decor. On our actual wedding day there was horrible rain predicted for our outdoor ceremony. They held off decorating our plan B, set up completely outside at our plan A ceremony space so we could take all of our photos under the gorgeous arbor, and then switched everything to our indoor plan B location just in time for the ceremony. I am so pleased with this family business. My daughter;'s wedding was this past weekend, and they made the precession area, the chuppah &, the main dining room, look like a "dream come true". All the personalizing one would hope for. Their flower arrangements are magnificent, their forms of communication -either, emailing or telephone calls is made so easy, and they are always available, and last but not least, their flower arrangements are to die for. Mary & Dawn are the absolute sweetest! My husband and I really enjoyed working with them for our wedding last year (9/26/15) in Cape May! It was one of the windiest days of the season & they managed to create the most beautiful beach archway filled with white hydrangeas, garden roses, orchids & more! The pictures captured what a wonderful job they did! I wish I could work with them again & again. I wasn't able to meet them in person before our big day, so we shared our ideas on each other's Pinterest boards before emailing me photos of the sample center pieces. The centerpieces for the reception & acocktail hour were exactly what I was envisioning! They led me in all the right directions without ever sending me over budget. The day of my wedding the entire place was gorgeous and exactly how I had pictured it. They helped to make my dream day come true! Not only did they help to make my special day amazing they treated me as though I was a close family friend. 10 months before my wedding day my mother unexpectedly passed away, and the next day I had a delivery from the amazing girls at a garden party. Their small gesture of a sympathy flower arrangement meant so much to me during a really difficult time. My Sons Wedding was this past weekend in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey on the roof top of the ICONA resort. Dawn and her team took a very nondescript area and turned it into a stunning venue. They knew my daughter in laws vision and used her Conch shells from her swimming career and turned them into gorgeous center pieces with drift wood and succulents. Every table was different with mixtures of gold and silver mercury glass. The day was just beautiful and we got so many compliments from family and friends. These ladies are absolutely amazing. They understood completely what we wanted just from our brief meeting and translated it into a fantastic, romantic event. They do everything from tall, dramatic centerpieces, to low, romantic, candlelit flowers. They are so nice, prompt, communicate well through phone and email, and very flexible when it comes to making your dream vision come true! A Garden Party is THE PERFECT FLORIST and I mean it! My initial contact with them was great and they are really quick to respond to emails. I think it's smart that they give you a questionnaire before the consultation meeting so they have an idea of your vision. My meeting with Dawn was really productive and she was so open to whatever ideas I had! My husband's grandmother had all of these ball jars and a china set that were just so perfect for the vibe of our wedding, and Dawn was so enthusiastic about making them the core of our floral arrangements. The shop is filled with so many amazing rental items as well, many of which we used in our vintage theme! Other than those decor items, the only request I had was for peonies (if possible), but beyond that did not want to interfere with their expertise. From the many pictures I had seen before our meeting, I completely trusted Mary and Dawn's creative eye to come up with flowers and arrangements I loved and the Pinterest board they put together after our meeting to show me their ideas did just that! So, finally, the day of the wedding came. The first thing I saw was my bouquet and it was AWESOME. Exactly as they had described it to me, but 1000x better to see in person!!! And when I walked into my ceremony, then cocktail hour, then dinner... WOW! Each arrangement was unique (we went for the vintage clustered look) and incorporated my groom's grandmother's china in such a cool, creative way - I felt like I was at a photoshoot! The one comment that I received the wedding day again and again (and even weeks later) was how beautiful the flowers were and that they were so me! And it was true! Mary and Dawn are exceptional artists that know how to make flowers speak volumes! I am so glad I let them take my core idea and work their magic without micromanaging as some brides do. How do I even start to describe how much I loved working with this company for my wedding.... I was beyond words when the bridal party bouquets arrived on my wedding day. During my initial consultation with one of the florists/owners I had given her a few requests (I wanted sunflowers) and told her our wedding colors but trusted her to pick and design what worked best. The surprise was priceless- I had the most amazingly beautiful bouquet, as did my bridesmaids. On top of that, all of the details at the wedding venue were so fantastic- I only wish I could attach pictures to this review but you'll have to visit their website to see how amazing their work is for yourself.
