Wow so long since my last trip here. I actually forgot about the incident with my parent's anniversary flowers. Eons ago we got our wedding flowers here and they were gorgeous. Today I came for my son's boutonnière for his Prom. Simple and simply stunning purple flower! I know that he'll love it! I absolutely love roses but I like this for a change. I had a double viewing and funeral for my parents that passed away within 20 hrs of each other. I haven't known that much pain. Tara, the owner, not only was incredibly professional but kind and caring and loving through this whole ordeal. She helped us pick out the most exquisite flowers and sprays and was a Godsend. I didn't have to really think about anything, she "held my hand" through it all. I was then blown away at the services when I saw the most magnificent arrangements ever. Even bigger than the pictures. Just gorgeous and regal and perfection. She and her team went above and beyond for my family! We are eternally grateful and the value for what paid was incredible!!! I will continue to use Aversa's Flower Shop even after we move out of the area! This is Mother's Day 2020 and we are doing our part to help protect everyone from the virus so we are not having our sons over to be with their mother. One of my sons ordered a tea cup bouquet from Aversa's. It arrived on Saturday and initially looked very nice but upon closer examination I could see that the miniature roses were old, wilted and the edges of the flowers were curling and beginning to turn brown. On Sunday morning the whole arrangement was wilted. It was a waste. I'm not going to call to complain because I don't believe I'll get anywhere with it. The florist knew what they were sending us and did it anyway. I'm local to this florist and very disappointed and will never use them again. read more

I had flowers delivered to my work for my birthday. A dozen red roses to be exact. I love flowers and roses are beautiful however they don't usually have a long life after delivery. I just wanted to say these were the most beautiful roses I have ever had gotten. The arrangement was so gorgeous full and green with babies breath and a big red bow. Absolutely breathtaking. Went here for arrangements for my Grandmothers' funeral. They were very nice (family owned & run), adult grandson and his mom were there working with the grandfather who I think started it. She was extremely helpful and not at all pushy. Actually recommended the less expensive option because of what we were looking for and was genuinely sympathetic. We had a death in the family on October 30th. I called Aversas to place an order for a floral arrangement for the service which was going to be on November 8th. I was asked where the service was going to be and upon my letting the young lady know it would be held at St. John's Church in Camden, I was put on a brief hold and when she came back to the phone she advised me that the Church was in a bad area and since they were not familiar with the Church they would not be able bike to take my order. She then proceeded to let me to know that they deliver to St. Joseph's in Camden though. I was a little confused as to how she would know what kind of area the Church was in when she said they were not familiar with it. I immediately knew I wanted to call them for the arrangement as I've used them in the past, but after this experience I definitely will not patronize this florist ever again! read more

They were Beautiful every time a Holiday Birthday or Christmas comes I know I will be getting Flowers from Aversas. Their Flowers Always holds up and I have dealt with them personally for Deaths in Our Family. They are always helpful and treats us with respect. I'd like to start by saying I am not one to leave a bad review unless it is absolutely necessary. This shop actually managed to create more stress during our grieving period. After selecting the perfect arrangement on their website with lavender flowers to honor my grandmother, I received an arrangement that looked nothing like what I ordered, not a purple flower in sight. Although extremely disappointed, I just let it go. My grandfather then ordered a huge arrangement of long stem roses and added a formatted poem to it. The picture showed a beautiful card with centered, cursive PRINTED font. What we then received was a disgrace. The roses were all standing straight with no spray as pictured. It was nothing like the full, lush bouquet that was on the website. The poem was illegibly written on a tiny business card not only with grammatical errors, but squeezed in so tightly that the words ran together. After this, I called to speak with a manager, "Rose." Never have I been more disrespected by a manager. She interrupted me throughout the entire conversation, drowning me out and defending her work and her terrible hand written poem. After losing a loved one, this is not the type of interaction you expect to have with the local flower shop. This is an absolute disgrace and I discourage anyone from wasting their money with this arrogant, disrespectful establishment. read more
