I am writing to express how disappointed I was with the 18-bead rosary I order for a funeral last week. It was a waste of money because the item was overpriced and low quality. For example, Cook's sells the 50-bead rosary for $350 and that same item can be purchased from an online florist for under $150. I wish I knew then what I know now. This will be my first- and last-time doing business with Cook's Florist. I did have a follow up call with Kurt who did his best to make things right after the purchase. I will say they do have good customer service. read more

THE BEST ! My boyfriend got me flowers again from Cooks & I can says I am NEVER disappointed ! They are the most beautiful lilies and roses! They were all closed with the stems cut & in plastic tubes with water to keep them fresh. In one day a few lilies opened & smell up the whole house & now my office ! We had a baby shower at Cecil Creek Farm and Michael did the flowers. They were breathtaking! The theme was sunflowers and the room just came to life. The mix of pink roses and sunflowers and beautiful table runners were exquisite. I also asked for something small for three special guests and he made these beautiful arrangements that had ribbons with their names on it that they were able to take home. I so preferred this idea over a corsage and so did my guests. Michael consulted with me twice and did exactly and more of what I asked. He had great suggestions. I strongly recommend Cooks Florist! I went in two days before my daughters prom to order her small handheld bouquet. The gentleman was very helpful and offered suggestions on what flowers should be used based on the photo of the dress I provided. The bouquet was beautiful. We picked it up three hours before she needed it on prom day and as promised, it was ready. A great review so why three stars instead of five....? The price!! Way too expensive. There were about 25 girls at the pre prom photo get together and all of those girls hadn't spent more than $40 at several other florists in the area. I know my daughters bouquet was beautiful but so were the others. Just shop around before you pay $80 for a small bouquet. It kinda makes me feel ripped off and I hate that feeling :( read more

Cook's Florist did my flowers for our January 2008 wedding, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. After a long day of florist appointments, Cook's was the last place we went to, and they gave us the best deal for what we were looking for. They weren't the cheapest, but the flower quality and really fantastic customer service justified the price for us. They were even accommodating about incorporating some materials we had purchased on our own into our centerpieces, and the result was stunning. Our bouquets and boutonnieres looked beautiful the day of- they really took to heart that I didn't want tight, tiny buds or huge open blooms; the roses were just perfect in their fullness. They did provide the wrong color bouquets (I had requested white roses for my bridesmaids, and we ended up with red), but the bouquets were just lovely such that on the day of, I really didn't mind. They were also great about taking a request the day before our wedding for an item we forgot to order (an aisle runner). I would recommend Cook's Florist to any bride and groom looking for beautiful flowers, a creative floral team, and high quality at a reasonable price. read more

Be careful of bait and switch. I ordered a beautiful Poinsettia for a friend in Arizona. The one that they had on display in the store was beautiful. When it arrived in Arizona the next day it was not anything like I had ordered. My friend sent me a picture of it. I returned to Cooks and was told that they use different growers. I understand that but you should get the same value. The plant she received was worse than what you could get on clearance at Home Depot for$9.99. I paid a total of $65.00 . I was told they would contact the florist. Nothing ever happened. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend Cooks at all. One they get your money that's it . Absolutely the worst customer service I have encountered in a long time. read more

I recently used Cook's Florist to get a arrangement made for my mom who was coming home from the hospital I walked in and said that I had no idea what I wanted and I had $25 dollars to spend. I was told "no problem" and 10 minutes later I walked out with a beautiful arrangement that my mom loved. The only issue I faced was parking I wasn't sure where to park so I used wawa's lot next door and walked but I believe there is a parking lot next to the shop on the other side of the florist. read more

Just wanted to give a big shout out to Michael and Cook's for the wonderful arrangement they made for our cousin's funeral. I used to live in south Jersey but am now an Atlanta transplant so we needed a good florist for the viewing. Michael was very professional and easy to deal with. He showed great kindness and sympathy in helping us choose an arrangement. And although we were unable to attend the viewing my mother and cousins commented how lovely the flowers were. Now, I don't order bouquets of flowers all too often, but I would say that my customer service experience with them was interesting. I basically called to get their opinions on what I could do with the amount in my budget and get information on sprays vs. bouquets, etc. They kept trying to push me to spend more money, even though I told him about my budget up-front. They apparently don't have a color printer, so don't ask to have anything specific put on your bouquet. All in all, they just weren't very helpful. If they weren't 4 minutes from where our event was being held, I wouldn't have gone with them. I get it if they're crazy, super busy - $50 is probably small potatoes to them - but then don't waste my time. read more

Used this florist for my wedding. The flowers were beautiful but they did not follow our instructions in several instances even though my mom even provided pictures of what we wanted. I was supposed to have greenery going down the side of my wedding arch as well as the flowers on top and there was no greenery. They were supposed to arrange my flowers on my wedding cake a certain way and they did not, etc. It was still beautiful but if you are picky about details this is not the florist for you because they do not follow exact instructions. read more

While the other website did not really seem to care if my flowers were delivered, Cook's took the time to contact me, not once but twice, and make sure that they were delivered.
