Didn't cut hair in between paws and toes and although I said she was a poodle, the top and face was not cut this way the first time. Second time the poodle top was not cut away from the face so when it grew back it was all in her eyes and I had to cut back myself. The thing that bothered me most was the constant changes in price without consulting the customer first. I also didn't like the cash only requirement. Not even Zelle or Venmo. Making it hard when prices are changed and you're not told ahead of time. Unfortunately still looking for our groomer.

I was aware he needed to be trim really short but I was afraid he got so stressed for when I pick him up. Fortunately, it was the whole oposite situation. We were told they were under new management starting in August. They explained what was involved when we dropped him off. Though we wanted a certain cut, they explained and showed us that he was a little matted so he would have to be de-matted first before we can achieve the cut. Daniel was very friendly and the groomer even came out to walk us through what they were going to do. Overall we are very happy with the result. They charged $200, about the same as the $225 that we get charge in our old groomer in Freehold. I did ask them about their reviews and Daniel said the new management is aware of the bad reviews and are putting all these new things in place to make customers happy. I for one am happy and will be back.

However, after a few interactions with a certain employee at this groomer's, I have to leave a complaint. I believe this employee was hired around summer time when I first brought my dog in for a haircut. They have a round face and curly black hair. Initially, I figured they were in training so I didn't say anything about the person not being knowledgeable when I asked certain questions. However, I recently went to have my dog groomed for the second time and this person was very rude to me over the phone and in person. I called the groomer's to check in on Ellie during her service which was from 9:30-12:30. I was told I'd receive a call about 12:15 or so. I didn't so I called them myself. This person picked up the phone and I asked if they could give me a rough estimate of when my dog would be finished. She said, "We can't give you an estimate. She just got on the table." I was polite and said, "Ok, no worries. Thank you" Click. She hung up without saying anything else. Prior to coming, I asked her about anal gland expression to which she said, "It's when we express their anal glands". I said, "Yes, I understand that but can you please tell me more" the other woman who was older in purple and had more experience had to step in and explain to me. This woman has always been very friendly. This afternoon, I brought in the tip for the services provided yesterday since I forgot to give it to the groomer yesterday. Upon walking in, I said, "Hi, I'm so sorry but I forgot to tip yesterday. I wanted to make sure you got your money!" The girl with curly hair said, "Ok" and turned her back on me. The older woman in the back mouthed "Thank you!" which I appreciated. I'm not one to leave a bad review for a wonderful business but I was offended by this employee's demeanor. Not friendly whatsoever. Very off putting. I am considering going elsewhere, but B & B really is an amazing spot.
