I'm updating my review after two years since getting my Cavapoo puppy, Ellie: Bubbles & Bath is fabulous. They do a wonderful job and the price is reasonable. However, after a few interactions with a certain employee at this groomer's, I have to leave a complaint. I believe this employee was hired around summer time when I first brought my dog in for a haircut. They have a round face and curly black hair. Initially, I figured they were in training so I didn't say anything about the person not being knowledgeable when I asked certain questions. However, I recently went to have my dog groomed for the second time and this person was very rude to me over the phone and in person. I called the groomer's to check in on Ellie during her service which was from 9:30-12:30. I was told I'd receive a call about 12:15 or so. I didn't so I called them myself. This person picked up the phone and I asked if they could give me a rough estimate of when my dog would be finished. She said, "We can't give you an estimate. She just got on the table." I was polite and said, "Ok, no worries. Thank you" Click. She hung up without saying anything else. Prior to coming, I asked her about anal gland expression to which she said, "It's when we express their anal glands". I said, "Yes, I understand that but can you please tell me more" the other woman who was older in purple and had more experience had to step in and explain to me. This woman has always been very friendly. This afternoon, I brought in the tip for the services provided yesterday since I forgot to give it to the groomer yesterday. Upon walking in, I said, "Hi, I'm so sorry but I forgot to tip yesterday. I wanted to make sure you got your money!" The girl with curly hair said, "Ok" and turned her back on me. The older woman in the back mouthed "Thank you!" which I appreciated. I'm not one to leave a bad review for a wonderful business but I was offended by this employee's demeanor. Not friendly whatsoever. Very off putting. I am considering going elsewhere, but B & B really is an amazing spot. read more

Bubbles and Bath does an amazing job. Very thorough, cares about each pet and takes time to go over what you want with each cut, if there are any issues, etc. The first time I brought my puppy Maisie, she had more build up in her ears than I knew. Apparently the last groomer didn't do as thorough a job. Another time she had a matting issue (she has crazy thick hair and I need to brush frequently), they did an incredible job blending the shave with her cut. I also love that it's a local family business who delivers every time. read more

My 3 legged toy poodle Cupcake has been here a few times now and I am a very happy mama. She usually looks a bit like Phyllis Diller when she goes in and comes out looking like a superstar. This is a family-run business and I feel when I drop my Yorkinese off that he's being left with family. They're very kind and professional. Bailey can be a handful and he's fidgety. They don't complain (at least not to me). They own several of their own dogs which may be why they're so understanding & caring. Today I was informed my dog had severely matted hair in his ears. They took their time with him and addressed the issue with care and kindness. Bubbles & Bath has a forever customer with me!! The first time I went to pick up Bailey I didn't even recognize him as you will see by the pictures I posted. I 100% recommend this establishment. read more

I've used this groomer before and wasn't that impressed with their work. I've been traveling most of the summer and was unable to get an appointment at a preferred groomer. I came here in a humble since it's been a heat wave I have a shih tzu whose fur desperately needed to be cut. The woman working the front desk then began to ask me why I didn't call ahead and when I told her that I'd been somewhere else and I thought I'd drop by because I lived so close she then began to chastise and berate me like a child and then told me verbatim 'BYE' and waved me away. I told her that she shouldn't speak to customers that way. I often try and support minority owned businesses and it's a shame that this one fulfills such egregious stereotypes. Even if I was wrong for just dropping by I would assume that a business would be professional enough to treat each and every customer with respect. I would absolutely NEVER patronize this business and suggest that you do the same. There are far too many other local more cost efficient and better options than this place. I wish there were a negative star option I could give because 1 star is far too positive for it. Steer clear. read more

I brought my Australian Shepherd to Bubbles and Bath after a while without grooming . She needed cleaned up totally. The listened to what I wanted and asked lots of great questions to assure not only I, but my dog also, was happy throughout the grooming process. They not only met, but far exceeded my hopes. For almost a year I've been bringing my dog and my parents dog here for grooming. Recently we had a major, unexpected flood in NJ which affected many businesses, including my own. Unfortunately. Bubbles and Bath establishment was flooded. I had an appointment made weeks in advance for the same day as the flood. Of course I understood that the business had to get things sorted before opening back up. After several weeks I received a text that business was back open and available for appointments. I was hoping to get a call or text to reschedule my appointment seeing as though I was on the books the exact same day of the flood but when I didn't receive any further communication I decided to reach out. The receptionist offered me an appointment that wouldn't be for another several weeks out?! I couldn't believe that I was being asked to wait even longer because they "were booked out"!! Excuse me but where is the professionalism?? It's simple, similar to a hair stylist appointment, if you have to reschedule your clients due to an emergency then you should have personally reached out to them to reschedule or at the very least make sure their next visit is scheduled as priority - not when I can fit you in after my newly booked appointments. I've been to this groomer about three times. She does a great job with my puppy Mimi. She really works with me on my scheduling needs. I like the appointment set up and there is always a courtesy reminder call. My puppy is so happy when I drop her off and when I pick her up! I like the way my puppy is groomed, and I can always count on good puppy advice when I need it! read more
