Then my wife dragged me to the SPCA Westchester. I held my ground--we met plenty of great dogs, but I stayed strong and we left without one. Three weeks later, my wife tells me she's going back because she saw a Chihuahua that looked sweet. I went about my Saturday... until I got the text: a picture of the dog, along with "She's perfect--calm and sweet. I want to adopt her." I rushed over, fully intending to talk her out of it. We adopted her. I made it very clear: "She's your dog. You take care of her." Rosie had other plans. She immediately latched onto me. She's incredibly sweet, but also bounces around like Tigger and refuses to leave my side. She wakes up with me, waits for me, and acts like I'm the greatest thing in the world when I get home. I'm trying very hard not to like her... but it's not working. If you're looking for a pet, I highly recommend this place. Just be careful--don't fall for it like I did.

I was so thankful to receive an Call back and eligibility for an appointment. This was scheduled for later in the month. As a first time client at this location there is parking on premises it's very big and the exterior of the building is beautiful. Cody's Clinic was located to the right once you get into the doors. The clinic was packed beyond belief. Our appointment was for 3pm we arrived 15 minutes early but was not scene till about 4:15. One thing about my visit which is very unfortunate is that I can't even tell you any staff members name because it was never provided by anyone. No one introduced themselves very busy and cold atmosphere. The people whose pets had surgery and were picking them up those staff members from the back were very kind and definitely engaged with their pet parents more. The woman taking the animals to the back for shots was not friendly. There was no introduction or greeting she called the kittens names and stated nothing was checked off on the Wellness Questionnaire sheet. I let her know that I was unsure about what I would need for the kittens and just required the basic shots necessary for their age. Front desk never even notifies you that you could not go in with your pets. I just caught on while waiting in the reception area. The woman took the kittens into back and came back within 10 minutes. Very fast once they were scene. Once I was finished I was told by reception to wait while they are working on the kittens profile so I could pay. Once home looking over the kittens medical report I notice numerous mistakes from incorrect address, telephone number etc. The kittens paperwork should have been identical and upon further investigation realized they were printed by different employees. Unfortunately Maurice screenshotted his screen instead of providing the proper medical history report for my pet. I tried to call no matter what time of day but unfortunately know one answers. I also emailed them with all the errors located on the receipt so they can be please be corrected and emailed back to me but I still not haven't heard from anyone yet. Not the best first time experience but I'm very thankful for all that the ASPCA does.

After reaching out to over 10…read moredifferent clinics (no exaggeration), he was the only one who made time for us and had 30yrs of experience. Saying I am grateful is an understatement. I see reviews about his prices being too high as well as him habing an attitude. First of all, you get what you pay for. His knowledge and skill. And he is HONEST, not rude. I understand It may be higher than some other vets as mentioned in a few reviews but the level of care, skill, and attention he provides is absolutely worth it. He was FARRRR more thorough than ANYYY other vet we saw. While others missed critical signs that costs my other bunny's life or just hesitating during the my pets exams, Dr. Haroush carefully listened to my bunny's body with a stethoscope, examined her FULLLY, and caught what others overlooked in my past animals. His confidence and care made all the difference. My bunny, "Pumpkin" who is female WOULD BE GONE if it wasn't for him. (No exaggeration) Dr. Haroush truly cares not just about animals, but about the people who love them. When my bunny needed emergency surgery, he was willing to work with me financially and gave me a generous discount to help save her life. That kind of compassion is rare so cut him slack. For those who say he only cares about money that couldn't be further from the truth. If you're expecting top-tier medical care, understand that it comes with a cost and rightly so. I was initially overwhelmed by the price too, but now I'm beyond grateful. His skill and dedication were worth every penny. He saved my bunny's life, and I will always stand by that. Professionally stitched without swelling after obstruction surgery (DURING critical Gi Stasis) She hasn't pooped for 30+ hours or eaten for 24+ due to this obstruction he removed in a timely manner. He tried recommending medications to try on my bunny to see if it can past through naturally before doing the surgery. After doing an x-ray and seeing the clump did not move after administering the meds he prioritized my bunny and started surgery asap. I am grateful she pull through. Thank you.

I didn't read reviews about this place before bringing my dog here.... As I continue to read them…read morenow, I see a lot of mix reviews about this place. I took my dog (a 64-pound nonaggressive, submissive pit bull mix) for half a day daycare, when I picked him up, I was notified that he was injured from another dog who had nicked his ear... I was upset that i was not notified of the incident when it had happened. My dog had blood dripping down his ear, onto his coat.. onto my car.. and every time he shook his head it would splatter elsewhere. I was on facetime with my fiancée and we were both surprised because we expected this to be such a fun experience for our dog! he seemed under stress and rushed to get into my car on the way out literally pulling me to leave. I tried to call for the manager and didn't get a call back. I ended up emailing the manager that same evening and got a response back reporting she had been in the ER with a family member the day before and couldn't reach out to me beforehand (totally understandable so i didn't get upset about the delayed response). What I did not like, was the way she downplayed the incident and the fact that I wanted to be notified when my dog is injured in her email to me... she reported she doesn't know me well enough to know I would want to get notified but as any dog parent knows, it's the principle to know- whether its big or small- and who wouldn't want to get notified when their dog is injured. Especially as my dog was actively gushing blood from his ear. It might've not been a big wound, but it was still bleeding a lot. I took my dog to the vet, and he was put on antibiotics. The manager of this location was able to reach out to the other dog's owner to pay for my vet visit, but it was submitted to the account for future visits.. and I no longer feel comfortable leaving my dog at this place. This might work out for others but unfortunately didn't for me!

Her comment is also defensive and inaccurate--I called them around 5 pm. She just didn't get back to us until 9:45 pm. Answering service was told 15-20 min late but didn't say that wasn't ok, I ALSO texted her as a courtesy and she said something different. Had we never texted her IN ADDITION to calling, we would've driven the 45 min to get there and then told we were too late. So much for running an "efficient" business and being "honored" by people who choose them. The Wall Street background lack of people skills is definitely not for every potential customer. Just warning those who, like me, prefer warm and informative communication especially during a moment of distress with my dog. Google reviews also show a pattern of bad, ineffective, and dangerous communication (where dogs were injured). I guess she just doesn't care. Dodged a bullet! Yikes! The owner was SUPER defensive from the jump before we even brought our dog in. That tells me the business has been criticized a lot and she's very tense about it. Not the kind of atmosphere you want for your dog. Hostile and dangerous. The people who work there probably save the place's rep but they'll come and go and it's too risky--go somewhere kinder and actually professional.

But none of this would be possible without the exceptional guidance and personalized help we've had over the past several years from the team at Good Dog. Do yourself a favor, and sign up for class today. You won't regret it! Here's the reality... I had no idea how to train a dog. I thought it was something you do for a couple of months, and maybe you get a dog that listens to you. But Anne's approach of really helping dog owners understand dog psychology and effective techniques for breaking skill-building into bite-sized chunks helped me reshape my thinking and develop the patience and consistency needed to get an incredible result. I never dreamed that I could have a dog that listens as well as Sierra. How well does Sierra listen? Well, her recall is so good that she came running up 2 flights of stairs when I previewed the video I chose to include in this review. Just from the whistle in the video. I thought that kind of behavior was outside of my abilities to achieve. But Good Dog helped me realize that training a dog doesn't have to be a burden -- it's a lot easier than you think. It just requires consistency and a bit of oversight from a knowledgeable expert. Point is... You could have this for your dog, too!
