His nurses -- Kim, Cynthia, and Rosa -- were wonderful whenever I called. My son even mentioned that Rosa has a "super cool accent," and that Reggie and another staff member "the other big guy" were down-to-earth and very chill, which made him feel comfortable. Tori and Stephanie were also extremely attentive. They always got back to me promptly and never made me feel rushed, which means a lot when your child is in a place like this. Because of the team as a whole, my son left feeling better, and I'm grateful for that. However, I did have one disappointing experience at discharge. The woman at the front desk wearing black scrubs and a LEFT carpal-tunnel wrist brace openly questioned why there was a 4 PM discharge. As a medical provider myself, I cannot simply abandon my own patients to pick up my son earlier, nor should I be expected to. Her comments were unnecessary, unprofessional, and frankly, not within her role. The only thing required of her in that moment was to request my ID and page his nurse. Instead, her demeanor, body language, and tone created an uncomfortable and disrespectful interaction at a time when emotions are already high for any parent. When your child is admitted to a facility like this, you carry a tremendous amount of stress, fear, and guilt -- and the front-desk staff should be sensitive to that, not add to it. Front-desk employees are often the face of an entire facility. Unfortunately, the behavior I witnessed last night did not reflect the professionalism or compassion shown by the rest of the staff. Overall, I am thankful for the care my son received and the team members who truly made a difference. I hope management addresses the issue at the front desk so future families don't have to experience the same unnecessary stress.

I like the telehealth option, which requires some self management. Phone calls if not answered do have a 24 business hour return which can be up to 3 days if you do the math. I believe that's because they have a good system via email and online scheduling to help yourself. Emails are almost always returned same day. If I had to guess dealing with psychiatric patients over the phone is just overwhelming, but I am able to get to a live person when needed, and billing always picks up immediately. Billing was willing to 3 way call my insurance to get everything covered. Thx!! You will need to know how to schedule appointments online at their website and in advance, this isn't the place for people who wait for the last minute. I've only been asked to drug test once I got on schedule (I,II) meds, and honestly doing outside drugs will affect your treatment; so I get the policy. My only confusion was when they let an NP go, she just sort of disappeared and no showed my appt. But I returned to seeing Dr A, and he is very invested in my care and is an active listener. He's empathetic to side effects and it's been nearly a year of stability for me which is unheard of. I'm so thankful.

They wouldn't see me because of confusion with billing and they were billing the VA who had paid for many many years. The billing department is so rude. This business is rated C plus by the Better Business Bureau, which means they are not an accredited Better Business Bureau business. Their office staff is so rude. I thought I was speaking to a psychiatrist all these years and I've been speaking to a PA. I am not happy.

To be honest, I may or may not recommend depending on who's going to therapy. I'm sure it's the right type of therapy for some. For my son, just sitting and talking to the therapist was torture for him (social anxiety in talking to some unknown guy). I felt there had to be a better way to reach him. We went for a few sessions and I finally gave in to my son pleading to not have to go. Again, for some people it may be perfect.
