The lady took 3 haircuts before she got back to me and when she did, she asked me if I wanted a hair cut...."Well I did but now I don't have time" was my nice response. I felt I was put on the back burner and she offered no apologies. The place was not full when I went in but as I sat there it became full and when the lady got back to me, It was empty again. That was so inexcusable and It made me late to my other appointment.

I like to keep my haircuts basic since I'm growing my hair out, so this place gets the job done. The first time was only $15 and the second $25( not sure why the price changed). That's as cheap as it gets. I don't like that they cut your hair dry, and only use a spray bottle to dampen it as I'm used to wet cuts. But once again, I was only needing my split ends chopped both times.

Today, We came to get summertime cuts to prep for this Texas heat. 10/10 recommend because great service and experience. Normally, I'm so picky because I naturally have curly hair and it's been challenging to find anyone experienced to handle, cut, and care curly hair. I'm really happy with the cut, it's exactly what we wanted. They take walk-ins and reservations. They offer waxing, threading, color, styling, makeup services, nails, etc. so versatile! At LeBlanc, the customized deluxe manicure/pedicure experience is TO DIE FOR-- and no guilt necessary, because the staff are enjoying themselves too. It's like a happy family in there. Best pedicures I've ever had, with no pain even with my ingrown toenails and sensitive skin. They recommend perfect colors for me when I can't decide. And the boys give great free skincare advice while they're working too! My first hair appointment was for a difficult color combination of dark red hair with a teal blue peek-a-boo pop underneath. Kim didn't hesitate at all but immediately looked at all my sample pictures and mixed customized color for me. And I never felt weird for being a middle-aged mommy asking for blue hair; they were totally accepting and celebrated my new look with me-- with toast after toast of champagne, my favorite! Now they always put the champagne in the fridge for me when I'm coming. And snacks for that all-day color appointment. Great cuts and styling too, and Jackie works alongside Kim so the blowout goes quickly. Kim not only explained her styling technique, but even loaned me her curling iron when I had to go out of town to be in a wedding! Thoughtful, friendly service doesn't get better than that! I kindly pointed this out to her, but she acted personally offended and refused to change anything. She said the color would come out more after a few washes. So per her recommendation, I was patient and hoped there would be more color after a few washes. At one point, she spilled a blob of hair dye on my head and I had to point it out to her so that I wouldn't have a weird giant blonde spot in my hair. She video records all of her appointments so all of this is documented. Of course, my hair color never changed, so I emailed her to discuss my concerns. She emailed back once and has ignored me ever since. My boyfriend called on my behalf after the salon ignored me. They never called him back either. I figured that if she didn't respond to my concerns while I was in the salon, or after I emailed, or after a phone call, maybe I should leave a review documenting my experience. Christine responded with threats.... Please see screenshots below. I am still waiting to hear what her lawyer says is "harassment" about an honest Yelp review.

I knew I could count on Uptown Shears to fix it. I believe my stylist was Lizeth and she cared about every single strand of hair on my head and was very meticulous and took her time with the highlights and cut. The entire staff was friendly and helpful!
