I live 40 min away and when I get a call the evening before an appt they have to move my appointment, it's very hard to move it due to my schedule. The excuse everytime was that they "double booked" the provider. It's not hard to not double book one provider, and when i asked the question (the 3rd time my appts got rescheduled) "why does the other patient's appointment take presidents over mine every time and I'm the one always getting rescheduled" and of course they had no answer except they double booked the provider. When they called me to tell me my 4th appt there was moved from 8am to 11:30 that was the last straw, I can't just move my appt 3 1/2 hours later when I myself have a full schedule. So here I am 18 weeks pregnant and looking for an OBGYN who will take my time just as serious as they take their own. I'm never late for my appts, and I understand this issue happening a time or even 2 times. But I'm 4 for 4 on appointments and fed up.

He's such a great doctor that even my mom became a patient of his after my oldest was born. I can't say enough great things about him. If you want a great doctor who knows his field, who you feel relaxed and comfortable with, who can absolutely trust your health with and that if your child's, then Glen is the the doctor you need. His staff is also amazing! I've not lived in Idaho for many years now so I'm not sure who is still with him as staff. However, when I was there every single person on his staff was also kind and compassionate and friendly. There's nothing I can say that isn't good about him and his staff. Thank you Glen for helping me bring two of my three into this world. Even with the couple of scary moments on my end. You helped get me through it and got them here and they were born healthy and safe. Now they're all grown and married and getting ready to start their families. They gave me so many tips and idea on how to avoid stalling out again. There were 2 at home prenatal visits, on-call support leading up to the birth, support during the birth, and a perinatal appointment after the birth. I ended up having an amazing home birth experience and Amanda provided so much support for me during the pushing stage. Having her there to hold my hands, guide me through breathing, and hold my hand afterwards for stitching was just what I needed. I would highly recommend Elevated Birth if you're interested in a doula for your birth. I've read that women who birth with a doula statistically transfer to hospitals less and also require less epidurals. It was definitely worth the investment to help achieve the birth I had longed for. Thank you, ladies!!

It's such an incredible feeling walking in and being welcomed by friendly, familiar faces. You rotate through the midwives, students and assistant midwife's so you get to know everyone. As a first time mom, wanting an unmedicated birth, with a birth team that fully supported me and my husbands wishes, I couldn't have done it without them. I absolutely love all the midwives! We were lucky enough to have Hannah and Shelia at our birth and they created a safe space, gave me my autonomy and supported me throughout. It was exactly what we had hoped for. The space is warm and cozy. There's 3 birth suites, the main one being the one we labored in, but you become familiar with each room at your appointments. Everything is done in house, the appointments are well over 30-1 hour in length and you never feel rushed. They will answer all your questions and support whatever birth you wish for. I felt so safe and loved. We will definitely be back when we have another baby in the future!!

I was going to check out two places before deciding where I was going to receive care. I remember my first meeting with Sophie very clearly. She was so warm and welcoming and not to mention knowledgeable I decided that this was the place for me. It just felt right from the very beginning. Everyone there is truly a joy to work with and there is so much care and attention to detail down to every aspect of this establishment. They even have the good hand sanitizer! I am five months postpartum and I look back at my experience with TVM fondly. They really care about the people they work with and make the process as easy as possible while providing knowledge and reassurance whenever possible. Bri, Ashley, and the student Jenna were the most cohesive team I could have asked for during delivery. I had Sierra come by and check me 12 ish hours in and she was a pleasure to work with as well! During the final part of my delivery I felt soothed by the presence of the three and was able to completely relax into the process. Afterwards they were fast acting and reliably took care of the tearing I experienced. During my care following the birth Bri was super attentive and helped me as I learned how to navigate this new world I was in while also trying to heal my body from the birth itself. Jenna was able to encapsulate my placenta for me after I expressed concern that my original plan was falling through. She was professional and even created some art that we were able to keep as a keepsake! This really helped me with the fluctuating hormones (I was scared of Postpartum depression) and I ended up integrating a lot easier than I feel I would have without. All in all this was a beautiful and unique experience. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. I believe that TVM set me up for success and helped awaken the innate part of me that knows I CAN DO THIS! Becoming a mother has been the most empowering yet challenging thing I have ever done and I am so thankful for the team at TVM for making it wonderful for us. I can not recommend them enough!

When my husband and I arrived at the birth center, I was having regular contractions (4-1-1). I…read morelabored for a few hours, and then I thought my water may have broken. Tawnia came in and confirmed that it was time to push, without conducting any checks. She had me push for five hours. I mentioned that I was in a lot of pain and felt like nothing was progressing. She kept telling me to push. I was finally so exhausted that I told my husband I wanted to go to the hospital. Then, another midwife came in and suggested she could perform a check to see where we were. She advised me not to continue pushing. Surprisingly, my water wasn't broken, and I wasn't even fully dilated. They then informed my husband that our son might have a neck injury due to all the trauma. My husband drove us to the hospital, and after being there for about two hours, I was finally ready to push. When he was born, he was unresponsive at first and had breathing issues. I believe this was due to the hours of trauma he went through. I also ended up tearing very badly, which I think was a result of the hours of active pushing when I shouldn't have been. They were completely incompetent. They didn't take any responsibility or even bother reaching out to us after the whole incident. The owner, Laurie, was avoidant and unhelpful. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Clarissa was there to comfort me through my fears as well as educate me on breastfeeding, labor positions, and how to write a birth plan. She was willing to go to appointments with me if I was scared and my husband couldn't. I decided to have a natural birth in a birthing center and she was my ROCK! I had a labor of 13 hours pushed for 3 and she didn't leave my side. For some reason the sound of my husbands voice was like nails on a chalk board. I needed the voice of a woman and the comfort of a woman. She was the best coach and support. It was the hardest work I ever did and it made a huge difference to have cheerleader on my side with my best interest at heart. She even made sure I was comfortable after birth and answered any questions I had about breastfeeding and being a new mom. Would highly recommend a doula to attend your birth. Clarissa was amazing!

My daughter has seen Dr. Antink since she was a baby (12 years) and we've always liked her…read more Our billing experience after her most recent wellness check has been awful and is the reason we will be looking for a new provider. My daughter's well visit was in November 2025 and we were fully insured. The business office was aware of our insurance prior to check-in. In March, I received a bill for $541, the full amount of the visit (no coverage from our insurance). Thinking it was a mistake, I called and talked to the Office Manager. He informed me that we were not in network with the insurance we had at the time and should've been informed of that upon checkin (we were not). He continued to say that it was a violation of the no surprises act and was their problem and he would have it written off. I tried following up with him multiple times over the next several weeks but he refused to return my calls despite multiple attempts and voicemails. His name is Carson. I also reached out to St. Alphonsus central billing and explained my situation. They also understood the issues with the unexpected bill and agreed to delay the bill, re-bill insurance, and again work on writing off the bill. I was encouraged. Over the next couple months, I followed up with central billing multiple times and provided requested information. Until the last time I called billing and the lady refused to talk to me about my daughter's situation citing HIPAA concerns and me not being listed along with my wife as a contact, even though I was there in the room when she was born at St. Al's, I've attended multiple doctor appointments over the years, lived with her mother for 20+ years, paid all of her medical bills, and am one of her legal guardians as her father (a clear clerical error on Saint Alphonsus' part, to which they didn't seem to care to fix, even after my wife called to clear it up). Today I have again received the bill. I cannot relay the sheer disappointment I feel with this situation especially after the lengthy and positive relationship daughter and our family has had with Dr. Antink. I've worked in healthcare insurance for 20 years and what has happened here is wrong. I would have written off this bill because it's morally correct. Saint Alphonsus Pediatrics has refused to. I feel beaten down and have paid the bill because I'm sick of dealing with it. My family cannot continue to support a practice where we are ultimately just a number and we're heartbroken about that, especially since Dr. Antink is a great doctor.

I just switched from the St. Alphonsus Caldwell Pediatrics to Boise Pediatrics and I am patting…read moremyself on the back for switching and also wondering why I waited so long. I have been with Dr. Loomis at the Caldwell site, but I ALWAYS had to wait. I really liked Dr. Loomis, but the combination of their unfriendly staff and long waiting times with a newborn and a very rambunctious almost 3 year old made every extra minute stressful. After a "straw that broke the camel's back" incident, I had to move to another pediatrician. My sister-in-law has been going to Dr. Baker at Boise Pediatrics for 3 years and when I asked her about her experience, she had me at "never have to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment"! Amen, Sister(-in-law)! Here's a summary of my appointment yesterday: *arrived about 20 minutes early in case of paperwork and b/c we were there early *the staff was FRIENDLY and encouraged me to wait in their well-child area (which was spotless and had a tv turned to cartoons) *I was about knocked on the floor when they came to get me 10 minutes later (that's right--they were actually letting me see the doctor EARLY!!) *if that wasn't enough, we did all the usual stuff right away and when they saw my 3 year old needed something to do, they gave him a little coloring book and crayons! (WHAT? Did they know I was going to Yelp about them or something!?) *The Doctor (Baker--yes, like on Little House, but that's just an extra bonus) was there on time and was very nice. He asked me great questions and actually took the time to give advice and what not. Even reminded me that I'm not getting enough calcium since I'm breastfeeding. *When it came for the shots, they had 2 nurses come in and give my little 4 month old the shots and b/c I am a crappy mom and forgot to give her Tylenol before our appt, they gave it to her! My faith in the pediatric system has been restored. Definitely go check out Dr. Baker and staff at Boise Pediatrics!
