The highlight of my meal was the French fries--fresh, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The fish was good, and the portion was generous. My husband's ravioli was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with the truffle cream pairing nicely with the ricotta and spinach filling.
The biggest downside was the service, which was quite slow throughout the meal. Also, on a very warm Paris evening, the lack of air conditioning made the dining room somewhat uncomfortable.
Overall, the food was enjoyable, especially the ravioli, but the slow service and warm dining area kept the experience from being exceptional. A good option if you're not in a hurry and are looking for comforting French-Italian cuisine near République.
