Had a TERRIBLE experience with this company last summer. I was talked into paying $100 for a class that would help me land a temp position quicker. I did that and then never heard from A List Staffing again. I tried to call up there a few times because I needed to be working ASAP but I was only able to get the receptionist on the phone who kept telling me they would call when they had a place for me. I never told them to stop trying to find a place for me, yet still to this day, I have yet to hear from them. A friend of mine had a similar experience. They were no help AT ALL! read more

I took Bills class a few years back and I definitely do not regret it whatsoever! After completing my classes I temped at a property for a few days while submitting my application to lots of different companies. I ended up getting hired by Lincoln Property company (one of the largest property management companies) and I worked for them for around a year. About 2 months ago I interviewed with this company. When I first got to the office there was a barking dog that the owner could not control. when I finally got started with my interview I was constantly interrupted by the dog and put on hold for phone calls. Carey Chenevert seemed very convincing when he said "you're exactly what we're looking for, you have the job" etc , etc.. I was introduced to his Boss and once again I was told I will do great with the company. Once the interview was over Carey told me to call him that following Thursday to go over more information and to get dates for a class. Carey also said he may be able to get me interning at a property before the class starts. Thursday comes and I leave him 3 voicemails with his "Assistant". A couple weeks go by and I decide to give it another shot, when Carey answered the phone he was very rude and pretty much called me a liar and said he doesn't "Hire People". Then acted as if he had no idea who I was when I gave him my name and told him this same story. These people and this company are a Fraud, they get you to come in, copy your SSN, lie straight to your face. Without any intention of giving you a job. My issue isn't the fact that I didn't get a call back. My issue is the fact that I was lied too and I waisted my time on these unprofessional people when I could of been interviewing for a REAL job ! My opinion.. don't waste your time if they email you or call you. But if you do.. don't give your SSN to them. read more

Never ever work through this staffing agency if you want to find a job at a serious company. I first talked to Jazmine and she told me she would place me somewhere which I agreed to because I had no choice given my personal situation. The first property she sent me to was Castle Rock. I have worked with rude people and with drama but never to the point of what I encountered at that property. Elizabeth the manager is a snake hidden in sheeps clothes, saying she's a Christian and portraying an image of being perfect. She has half of her church members residing there and she provides them with special treatment which is against Fair Housing. On my last day, I received a call from Bill saying that she had called him very upset requesting for me to leave the keys and finish my day, because I had shown an apartment that was not ready (I've been a manager before therefore I know we can't do that) after she had told me to show it either way. I left, took my timesheet to Bill and I was told I was going to get paid because they knew I had work there all those days, as they had called me everyday to make sure I was at the property. On the next day after I got paid, Bill called me saying that Elizabeth had told him that there was a money order missing and that I had received it and she couldn't find it, so they reversed the payment for MY PAYCHECK for the hours I worked, all because her stupid ass had sent that money order to her corporate office by accident after I left it on her desk which was a mess full of clutter everywhere. I found out the very next day because I had to call her and find out before calling A List and let them know that I hadn't taken any money orders, and that they had no reason to hold my pay. As a matter of fact, that is against the law. It's been 3 days and I still haven't been paid for those hours. I will be contacting an attorney and I will report them with the better business bureau as well as Castle Rock and Wind Enterprises for not following proper procedure read more

This staffing company started me on a new career path. I am so grateful for the training they have given me. Yes, I had to pay for the classes but it was totally worth it. I have used there company 3 times in the past 6 years and I always have been offerd to be hired on to the community where I have been placed. The staff has gone above and beyond to help me find a community close to my home. Alist staff has always checked in to make shure I liked the property. If the property wasnt for me they made shure there were other options. Grate people in the office and amazing opportunity go grow in the apartment industry. I deffantly recommend it to anybody who is looking in this field of work. Also for people who are lost in there career path. They will give you the training you need to succeed. Worst company I have worked for in my life. Luckily enough I worked there only part time, on weekends, and only for a couple of months. Where to start because there is so much intrinsically wrong with this place. First of all, they could not provide me with stable unemployment, which is important, even for a second job. Basically, the company provides employees to short staffed hotels and apartment complexes. However, whenever one of the regular employees would show up for your shift, you had to go home and would lose your shift. That happened a number of times to me. Secondly, I took some time off, during summer for personal reasons, which they guaranteed was fine; only to find out I was out of my second job when I came back. Last but not least, they even forgot to send out my W2. When I kindly reminded them, they sent me a very rude and condescending email claiming that they had sent out the forms in December, which was obviously a lie. I got it February 5, which means they sent the document out well after the deadline, January 31. If at all possible, avoid working for this terrible company. Their hourly pay is pretty terrible anyway. Oh, one last thing, once they even forgot to pay me out. read more
