We used A Love's in Bloom for our wedding on 5.31.14. We found her through various wedding sites and Yelp. Valarie was awesome through the entire process.. She was quick on returning emails and any questions we had; she was professional and very easy to work with! Unfortunately on our wedding day Valarie was unable to attend to deliver our flowers but she sent an assistant who helped set up our arch (which we rented from Valarie), added our chiffon and flowers. I had a vision for our arch that was very specific and her assistant delivered and made it even more beautiful than I ever imagined. We also delivered our rustic can "vases" to Valarie's house ahead of time so set up was easy. Valarie's prices are fabulous! She can get flowers at prices better than warehouse prices! I cannot tell you how relieved I felt when she told me the price for what I was envisioning - SO AFFORDABLE! I had given up hope that I would be able to afford beautiful, professional flowers until I met with her! Valarie is also very flexible and responsive to requests and changes. I really appreciated this in the weeks leading up to my wedding. However the day of my wedding is when things kinda fell apart. Valarie had let me know that she had a family function to attend on the day of my wedding and her assistant with "years of experience" would be doing my wedding flowers, and I guess some things didn't get communicated to her. My MOH bouquet was the wrong color, the ceremony flowers were ok but arranged exactly how I had told Valarie I did not want, and the roses for the cake were not fully open which I had requested. However my bride's bouquet was beautiful, lovely, top quality, and smelled like a rose filled garden. I loved my bouquet and I received many compliments about it. And no one noticed or commented about the other flowers at all, me and my MOH were really the only ones who noticed. At the end of the day, my goal was to have the best "Value for Cost" for my flowers, and that is what I received. Myself and my mom met up with Valerie one night after work. She showed us photos of her work, discussed what colors and flower preferences I had (I had no idea about what type of flowers I wanted) so she suggested a few and showed us multiple pictures of the types of flowers. She also suggested flowers that would handle better in the heat, since we were having an outdoor wedding at the end of August. We went over pricing for everything I wanted, and my mom and I left saying "wow, that was pretty reasonable.. We thought it would be more." Valarie was the florist for our wedding. She was referred to us by a friend who I remember had beautiful flower arrangements at her wedding. My friend also mentioned Valarie was very reasonable and willing to work within whatever our budget ended up being. She even offered to demo what one of our bouquets would look like at a wedding fair a month or so before our wedding. I used Valarie for my recent wedding. I had gotten her name from a friend who recommended her. I emailed what my budget was and what all I needed for the wedding. When we meet the bridal bouquet she had priced me at was actually bigger than I really needed. And my one request I wanted Tulips. I knew September wasn't Tulip month but she said that wasn't a problem as she knew where she could get them and in the color I wanted. She brought photos and I was able to find a smaller version of what I had in mind. I knew before I meet with Valarie that I was dead set on having the flower girls have baskets and use flower petals. Valerie did the flowers for my wedding at Chardonnay Golf Club. She was great to work with leading up to the wedding. The flowers arrived on time the day of. My only disappointment was the large arrangements had colors that I did not request or think would be added to the bouquet. I was having pink, orange, and a peach color and purple was in the larger arrangements. The other issue was some of the flower arrangements the flowers were wilting already and did not look fresh. It was a hot day, but even in looking at pictures now they didnt look fresh.
