I can't say enough about this florist. We were looking for flowers for my mother's funeral, feeling a lot of sadness and stress. We walked into he florist down the street from Florali first and they were not friendly and said that they could not help due to the holiday and the flower mart not being open until the day of the funeral. We left and went up the street to Florali! Not only were they friendly, they showed sympathy for the loss of my mom. They explained the same issue withe the flower mart but instead of saying no, they called the owner to see if it was possible to do what we needed and deliver them to the church. I got a call from them within the hour stating the owner would be able to get the flowers, make what we needed and have them delivered by the time we needed them. Beautiful flowers, but best for special occasions when would want them at their prime (and one is not concerned if flowers stay fresh beyond the event). I do not believe their flower arrangements generally can be enjoyed over several days at home. I have received a few arrangements from Florali. The last arrangement had flowers and greens that wilted on Day 2! I know from experience that those types of greens, even if purchased from Trader Joe's, should last at least a week if they are fresh. I tried to resolve the situation with the store, but to no avail. read more

For my taste, Florali is one of the best florists in the area. I've used them several times over the past 2-3 years (birthdays, mother's day, valentine's) and they never failed to impress. The flower arrangements I ordered were always beautifully simple, contemporary and carefully arranged. If you're looking for a mixed bunch with lots of colors, you might be better off going somewhere else. Florali tends to keep things simple, contemporary and elegant, which is what I like. Florali makes BEAUTIFUL arrangements. For our wedding, they were able to capture the aesthetic we hoped for - a cultivated, wild beauty. Susan and Darwin are true artists and great listeners. When we were meeting with them, Susan kept noticing me eye the small bottle of lilys of the valley on the table top. As we left, she generously gifted them to me. Talk about attentiveness and customer service. My ONLY caveat--We thought that our final cost would be a bit lower than it ended up, so I advise you to be very clear about your ceiling. You will also have to give up a little bit of control and let the artists create based on your ideas. The arrangements may actually end up being your ideas but better. All in all, I believe Florali is probably the top east bay florist for good reason. We will continue to buy our celebration and get well bouquets here because our loved ones don't deserve 1800 flowers, they deserve the beauty, artistry and generosity we experienced with Florali. read more

In scouring floral shops to find the perfect bouquet, I came across the web site for Florali and was blown away. I discussed the order with Susan who was able to obtain the exact flowers we were looking for. We discussed personality, flair, design, etc. However, the flowers arrived in sub-par condition. There was no personality or flair to the boquet. It was tulips in a plastic vase. I do appreciate that, in time, we finally came to an agreement on remedying the situation.
