Despite knowing Colleen Pratt and dealing with her personally for over 20 years, her treatment and conduct were not only unprofessional but also very hurtful. I have many years of legal experience, and I'm shocked by the unprofessionalism I received from Mrs. Pratt and her team. Despite referring multiple family and friends to her firm, I was taken aback when Mrs. Pratt implied that I said she didn't care about her clients. This claim is not only false, but also absurd given the number of referrals I've made to her directly. I was left to handle critical aspects of my claim including personally picking up my medical records from hospitals, scheduling my own MRI, obtaining the MRI results, obtaining additional pertinent documentation, and ascertaining my own Orthopedic treatment. Making matters worse my claim was accepted and she did nothing to obtain what I was entitled to. I needed an orthopedic and she sent me to a chiropractor which, frankly made my condition worse. Her office failed to secure necessary evaluations and treatment for my debilitating injuries, and my case sat in limbo. I was often alone on conference calls with her staff, as Mrs. Pratt was never present. When I switched attorneys, I received 4x the offer Colleen presented me with, plus benefits such as my back TTD benefits owed to me, current benefits, penalties, mileage reimbursement and anything else I was entitled to. To make matters worse, Mrs. Pratt implied that I should settle my case quickly due to my sister's passing, completely disregarding the severity of my injuries and the impact on my life. To top it off, Mrs. Pratt is seeking attorney fees for work she didn't do - I'm the one along with my husband's support who did the work & heavy lifting on my case. I have plenty of documentation to support my claims. I strongly advise others to research their attorneys carefully before hiring anyone. It was about the same time that I was apparently approved for disability. I started receiving payments and had no idea why or what they were for. I finally realized that it was SSA and I assumed it was for 2020/2021. I kept most of the money because it didn't seem right. A few months later, I got a note from SSA saying I owed back $45,000!!! When I spoke with CDG they said, "Don't worry, there's a nine-month program where you can work and still collect benefits." WRONG. You first have to be determined to be disabled by the SSA for a full year, then you can work up to 9 months and still collect benefits. BTW, I only actually received about $36,000. Part of the $45,000 is the $6,000 that CDG collected. When I told CDG about the overpayment and demand that I pay back the money, I was told, "We do not have experience in overpayment issues with the SSA." They caused the issues due to wrong and mis-guided information as well as failing to communicate important information on my behalf. Now, I'm being told that I have to pay back the $6,000 that CDG got. They got me approved for disability, although it took almost two years, and now I'm going to be broke trying to pay back money, that I would have saved all, if I only got correct information.

I paid my bill in full. Then I got another bill and called Medx, they transferred me to voice mail. I called the doctors office and they got through in minutes, called me back and told me Medx made a billing error. First sign of a company doing bad business is when they don't use their company name when answering the phone. Second sign of bad business is when the billing company does not have their name, address or phone number anywhere on the billing. Makes me wonder how many people are getting wrongly billed again and paying the bill. Also how many senior patients are getting wrongly billed and paying. OMG! A representative from Medx called me back and misrepresented herself saying, "I am with Los Alamitos Colorectal Surgerical". I immediately corrected her and told her she was misrepresenting herself as she is with Medx. She tried to correct herself and I told her again she was misrepresenting herself. No. The response was: "we're taking care of it." It what? A pronoun without any reference is meaningless. And in the meantime, my money is running out. I've dealt with lawyers in the past who answer questions and even provide additional information so my mind was at ease and this was before my concussion so I could actually keep track of things. But this firm...I don't know. Piss poor customer service skills and seemingly zero empathy for someone who's injured and on the verge of losing their home. There has to be some lawyer in Southern California who works on worker's compensation who doesn't have the response ethic of a millennial. Ghosting clients is a crappy way to do business (or deal with other humans in general). I guess once they've got your business, just as with the general corporate attitude in this country, they could care less about your situation. Just collect the $ and run. I cannot recommend this firm.
