I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with All Wise Driving Academy and would…read morestrongly caution others before booking with them. I paid $259.68 for their driver's education program and expected clear communication and guidance on how to complete the course. After paying, I was never properly contacted to schedule anything or clearly walked through the required steps. Months went by with no follow-up from the school. When I finally reached out, I was told I could not receive a refund because too much time had passed, even though no lessons were ever scheduled and I did not receive the services I paid for. They later claimed I was supposed to attend Saturday classes, but this was never clearly communicated or coordinated with me in a way that made participation realistic. My interaction with management made the situation significantly worse. When I calmly and respectfully asked about my situation, the manager was extremely rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Her tone became aggressive, she raised her voice, and she ultimately hung up on me. During the conversation, she stated that she had been doing this for many years and that I would not be getting a refund, and even suggested I could "take it to court" if I wanted. This is not how a paying customer should be treated. I made every effort to resolve this respectfully, but the response I received was dismissive and unacceptable. I have received none of the actual driving instruction I paid for, and the lack of communication combined with the way this situation was handled is extremely concerning. I have also heard from others who described similarly frustrating experiences, which makes this even more concerning. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend not booking with this driving school. If you do choose to move forward with them, make sure everything is clearly scheduled and documented in writing upfront.

RVA Driving Academy is fabulous. Trilby Burt was our instructor and I will use her again for my…read moreother child. She is kind, patient, calm and a VERY good instructor. Ms. Burt corrects and teaches the new drivers when they need it, but she does not yell or cause stress. Ms. Burt makes a point to teach the new drivers about defensive driving too. Ms. Burt just "gets" teenagers. She converses with them and puts them at ease and it is not an awkward or boring driving session. The car Ms. Burt used for the teaching was clean and in great condition. She has the appropriate signage on the car to alert others on the road of a new driver. It was a 4 door sedan and my daughter was very comfortable learning in that car, even though she had never driven a sedan before. It was very easy to schedule and RVA Driving Academy was very responsive. Ms. Burt worked with us via text to schedule driving times around busy a school and after school activity schedule. It was quick and easy to get on her calendar. We got all 7 sessions done in just over a week. My daughter enjoyed her time in the car with Ms. Burt and when she "graduated" from Behind The Wheel she told me a few days later that she missed not having more time driving with Ms. Burt.
